The main reason for turning off the qaud would be in winter because the torque would make it spin like crazy everywhere. But I guess with v2 I can turn everything down right?

How would 7x0.009s spoil with this setup? I don’t want to have too much power after I turn off the qaudzilla so I’m thinking I want to withdraw a little. Will these still net be around 450 hp?

I think I’m going to buy the turbo that’s on cf so we will be gettin started soon!! Tfaoro mentioned a spring wastegate? Is this a good option? Apparently it will eliminate the need for a wastegate bracket...

Ok I have headed of this ball and spring before. How would you go about keeping all your fuel from spilling out the lines when i unhooked the pump? I’m thinking ahead as too what pumpni will get if this one is bad... What do you think about the airdog frrp 150 with the big line kit from thoroughbred diesel? Will it fully support 450 hp? Is water air separation vital for me? I will be running a qaud and 150 injectors soon btw. There is also a Fass 150 adjustable pump...

Haha all good! Lol we’re you thinking too but a hybrid turbo or convert mine? i was thinking that if I can get a hybrid for A good price I would consider it a option but if I have to convert mine idk if I want to do that because I want to keep all my stock parts... What would be max safe egt for a cw? Im defiantly leaning towards the cw I think. Only thing I’m unsure about is the wastegate holder. Will it become obvious once I get the turbo how to make it or does someone have plans for it?

I’m not too worried about fabricating things I just want what’s best for my truck and my goals which are 450 hp daily driving tow and fun rig! I do agree though that the hybrid would be much easier for a guy like me... i beliebe the only fab work I would need to do is the wastegate holder. Correct me if I’m wrong...

Hmm that spikes interest again! Lol ok i need opinions from everyone possible. If this was your truck would you do a He351cw or a hybrid? I’m depending on you guys to give me the best option cuase I don’t know much about turbos! What size injectors could you run with this setup?

No I did not have a fp guages with the ez and had a qaud transducer with the adr and an edge with my Juice... I don’t think it will tap into it but I will check

I’m using a Attitude monitor for guages. Tapped in at the bango bolt. I believe the mechanical is a Shrader valve... im completely baffled by this. When I had a ez I got a constant 15.6 15.8 with the qaud I got close to 17 and the juice kept it around 15 and never helped anything for mpg...

So ever since I had the drop in fuel pressure which I have not mechanically tested yet my fuel economy has steadily went down since then. Have not had the chance to hand calculate yet but lie o meter says it went from 16.8 to 14.3. I picked up a tester today so I’ll be able to rest idle pressure soon. Where do I hook up the tester? The pressure went went down and then back up to 17 18 at idle and 12 13 wot. Used to be 19 20 at idle and 15 16 wot before the drop.

I apologize if this has been asked before... I plan too by a cheap android phone to use in my truck for tuning and qauges. I’m curious if you can somehow make the phone open the app automatically when I turn it on? Also curious where you guys mount your phones/gauges? Thanks

My thought is too stick with the v2 and leave the wiretap off. I was reading at cummins forum and came across a thread about this. I read that if you don’t clock the turbo then you won’t have to fab a waste gate holder. What do you know about that?

I read on cf that if you do not clock the turbo you won’t have to fab a bracket? What do you think about doing 125 injectors and a can bus box like the qaud xzt? Smoke? Issues? With 7x 0.10s that would put me about 450... seems a little more safe for me.
