You could just send yours in for a rebuild if you can afford down time on your truck.

If pre 97 is smog exempt why not a 96 12 valve? Great truck can make power and beSt of all smog exempt! And reliable as well. Just my 2 cents.

I’m having a strange issue to. The Qaud power wire is popping the #9 Engine fuse that the wire taps into and killing the truck. Put in a new fuse and truck runs for 5 seconds and pops the next one. Had to unhook the Qaud for the weekend which sux cuz I was loving the power! What is causing this? Also I checked the wire for breaks or shorts but it looks fine. I touched the power wire to battery positive terminal and everything works fine?

I installed SPL bulbs and fixed my map light switches and it makes some good light.

I believe some of my slop has came back already. Will my warranty be voided if I mess with the adjuster on top?

Look real close down by injection pump and lower that where mine was laying. If it happened only after injector install it’s almost certain that a vac line became unhooked.

Our shop uses Spicer mainly. A few SKFs now and then. Spider is by far the top qaulity in our experience.

Get a pic of the CAD part of the front axle. Have someone shift the truck into 4x4 a couple times while you disconnect the vacuum hoses to the CAD and feel the ends for vacuum? Have you been working under the hood lately? They’re is a vacuum lime that is easily disconnected if moved around while under the hood. This is what happened to me.

I ordered a Qaud! Injectors will have to wait a bit though.

Ok fellas I have a quad on the way and this is all new to me! I would like some help building a few tunes. My current 7x00.85 injectors are popping low so timing numbers need to reflect that. I want a mpg tune with some nice power, an all balls tune and a safe towing tune. I have the app downloaded and will be playing with it and entering in tunes as they’re written here. I’ve gotten two quotes from dap and they said 180$ not sure why they charging me more than you?

I do need to check alignment but it steers nearly perfect now. Tires wearing even. I did notice when I rotated my tires that I started to feel a slight vibration.

So on the #4 AWG cable from the alternator charge terminal to passenger side positive cable ami reusing cable from somewhere or am I buying new #4 cable 20” long to put they’re?

You must have missed the earlier posts. I ordered a quad. My problem is I ant afford injectors to right now and I just have the quad first to get bigger injectors. I’m considering purchasing a pop tester if I can find one for a decent price. Can someone point me to one? This pop pressure theory interests me and I’d like to try to repop my own injectors and maybe others to if I can succeed.

Haha I can’t wait! I’ll prob end up with stock injectorsfor a little and then I’ll jump to the 7x10s when funds permit...
