  1. Yea i was thinking that would be more in the top side of things.
  2. It was still pretty cool it had maybe ran for 10mins Max and hadn't drove but 60 foot. Guess I should listen after it's warmed up some. I was kinda thinking it's normal cause they are so loud anyway.
  3. So when I was checking my transmission the other day for anymore leaks I left the truck running. As I could hear a knock as my head got near the bottom of the truck I could hear a knock. Not like a rod knock not really sure what it was. I could hear it on the driver and passenger side. Couldn't hear anything up top. Is this normal? I have never paid attention or been under one while it was running.
  4. Got it! Tightened it down just a little bit more and I drove it to work and back today and no leak! Whoo. Thanks everyone.
  5. Is that for both lines and the correct fittings? That would be the better way if so for sure.
  6. From exchanger to transmission. Might have to get a new line. I was hoping it would be a seal or something on the end of the line or in the fitting. Oh well!
  7. Guess that will be my next step. I'll just take it out and check it out.
  8. Appears to be coming out from between the line and the fitting. Not the exchanger.
  9. Well I tightened it up maybe a 1/8th of a turn. It's a heck of a place to get to. Still leaking tho. Any other ideas?
  10. Yea I want to get ahead of it before it gets worse. I thought maybe my plastic clip had broke because that's where I seen the drip. I think I'll add a rubber hose over the tube to help prevent that. Hopefully I can just snug it up. Thanks for you help!

  12. I got a leak at the transmission line coming off the transmission line right at the fitting. I am assuming it has a oring at the fitting. Can I replace just the oring or the fitting? Is thier a c clip holding it on like on some smaller cars? Or does it just unscrew and the whole line come off? Is this part of the cooler or what is this thing?

  15. Ahh that might be it. I need to look at that. My transmission shifts well. It don't snap ya neck or anything but I kept noticing when I was pull a hill or slow down for a 35mph zone and speed up the quad would read 3rd gear then it would feel like it shift and say 3rd lockup until it shifted again it would read 4th lockup. I was missing the 3 to 4 shift on the quad but it was happening and I just wasn't paying enough attention. The 3rd locked to 4th unlocked ain't much of shift compared to 4th lock up.
  16. Well I guess I learned something. Instead of going by the quadzilla I should pay attention to the shifts.. it goes into 4th for about 5mph at light throttle then locks up. The quad was showing it as 3rd lockup the whole time. I just used the o/d button to rule out o/d.. oh well!
  17. I have noticed the last few days that my truck just skips 4th gear unlocked and goes straight to 4th gear lockup. Shift great and doesn't slip. Just wondering if this is normal. Soon as it goes from 3rd locked it shift to 4th locked with maybe 2 seconds of 4th unlocked. If it's in 4th locked and get on it or pull a hill it drops to 3rd locked, not 4th unlocked. Normal for everyone else or naw?

  19. 10-4 I'll give it try. Timing reduct scaling was at 100 so I'll got to 60 to start with.

  24. You think 2* is enough? I think my tow tune is 5? Should just buke and smoke if it's to retarded right? I'll Data log and try to watch the engine load tmw as well.
  25. Got ya I am at about 19. Something degrees at 70mph I'll look at my engine load at a cruise tmw. Maybe I can get a few more mpg so I can save for new injectors. If I have a rattle even after dropping out of cruise state what should I do? Timing reduct is at 2*
