  1. 80PSI! That's high. I didn't realize the gauge even went that far. Mines closer to the OP. A little blow by is normal and it sounds like your fine. But a vacuum leak will cause it also. Does your 4WD and heater vent door work?
  2. I'm 5" to the back and I can't say I hear a tick. Only thing that comes to mind is to check to be sure the turbo turbine is not rubbing the housing. I'm sure others will chime in.
  3. Beautiful pictures. Here's as close as I can come. Lyman Run lake Potter, PA
  4. You all are so lucky. $2.95 at cheapest here for diesel and $2.65 for regular unlead. Don't you guys have any fuel taxes out there??
  5. These are all very good suggestions. I have bled mine more times than I care to count over the years and had good results with these methods but like stated above it can be a real pain sometimes. The second to last time I did it, it just would not prime and I did like Mike said and gave it a shot of juice and that was all it took. The last time I followed Blue Chips directions and although I did not agree with them at first it was the easiest priming I've had. Could have just been luck though as that seems to play a big role in it too.
  6. You need a drbII scanner or equivalent to read ABS codes I'm told. For a mere 8-10k you can get one. It's only money .
  7. Thank you! I do have some of these shown in the picture but how would you use that to splice into a wire like tapping the pump wire for instance? I was thinking you meant a butt splice T.
  8. Do you have any part numbers or suppliers for these "T"s ? I looked for something like that but could never find them. I thought maybe there was no such thing and gave up. I'd love to have some water proof T splices.
  9. I did my tube O-rings without loosening the injectors. No issues.
  10. Thanks Mike! One other question. When I try to upload an avatar it says the file is too large, even when I try to use the same picture I had. How do I change that?
  11. Recently I made an in-between donation. After a few weeks I got an invoice which I disregarded because I had just donated. I see I am a donor now but I have also been pink listed. Do I have to donate every six months even if I just did a month ago or how does it work?
  12. I know this has been talked about before but I don't remember where. When I replaced mine it was $42 for the "T" and $11 a pc. for the grommets, or something close to that. The tubing is an oddball size which is why I went with the OEM stuff.
  13. It came with the kit. Mines a 4" DP and 5" from there on back.
  14. i liked my diamond eye kit as well. good stuff.
  15. Generally not, but there are some companies that specialize in bringing southern trucks up and selling them. I checked the one place and all they have right now is 3rd gens. It's the road salt that destroys our trucks up here
  16. PA. seems a little cheaper than most. If you're interested in traveling I can send you some ads.
  17. I have a Quad. XZT+ which is a 60-65 HP chip. I put a Revmax stage 3 and a Transgo TFOD shift kit in which in my opinion is the minimum upgrade to the 47RE. I tow on performance setting grossing 14k and it holds fine, no shudder at all. I'm pretty sure my setup would handle a comp if driven sensibly. I aim to find out shortly.
  18. Personally I would not buy another 99. Mostly because of the rear drums and brain fart engineered inboard front rotors. It also seems most of the ECM issues are on 99's. And 53 blocks as well. I speak from experience. That said I would not want newer than 2002 because I don't want $$$$$$ commonrail injectors, $$$$$DPF's , and all the other $$$$$ computerized electronic headaches that I can't fix myself. That's why second Gen's are priced so high but you'll save in the long run.
  19. Do you run TCW3 in your saws? I didn't think Stihls like that. And I always thought our trucks can only run TCW3.
  20. What's wrong with that?
  21. Looks like a true PA Dutchman to me . I've known of several of these around home here.
  22. I'm good for at least once a day
