  1. A little hard to have confidence when it's a coin flip as to whether or not it's gonna start. But like I said another VP fixed mine. I'm perfectly confident now
  2. He's right, but yours does it when it's warm so I doubt it's a prime issue.
  3. Mine was supposed to have much less, which is why I fought off replacing it. If it's been starved for fuel and had a used PSG on it when rebuilt then 36k is not too new anymore. Heck I only got 96k out of my motor before the block cracked.Does your tach needle move when cranking? If not it could be a failing crank pos. sensor I've read.
  4. I went through this last year. Replaced all sorts of stuff thinking I was losing prime. Finally called BlueChip and explained to him and bought another VP and all is well again. If you're still running stock lift pumps I'd be concerned. Not trying to scare you but this was my experience. Got worse and worse until I just couldn't trust it anymore. Never had any codes.
  5. Thanks for the replies guys!
  6. Some I saw where in the early to mid 80's on Auctiontime. And the diesel was an option on some. Just curious, where did you get your info.? I could not find much on it.
  7. Anyone know anything about these? Are they gear, chain, or all hydraulic drive? Anything good or bad about them? The one I'm looking at has a 3 cyl. Duetz diesel. I'm trying to find the specs on it but Can't find any. Even Digger Data skips over it. Thanks in advance!
  8. Better that than not come on as I am experiencing .
  9. Do you happen to know any of those sites? I looked before and could not find anything. I'd like to check them out.
  10. Looks great. I'd love to do one for mine sometime. Just kinda short on time right now. It would be neat if someone would come up with blueprints for some of these bumpers. That would save a lot of time in trail & error. You could sell them for a few bucks and recoup the price of your own bumper.
  11. Sent you one back
  12. Just wanted to thank Mike for the drywall screw trick. I found out I was toed in almost an inch . Doesn't agree with the idea of tow in inside wear, tow out outside wear but no good regardless. I'll see what happens now.
  13. For my own understanding can you explain that?
  14. Thanks guys! Hey Rancherman, I did try to PM you on this but it says you can't receive any PM's. FYI
  15. Thanks, I'll try that. I also have a feather to the inside, but outside pass. tire pretty near worn out.
  16. . I've never had to deal with it before but we are having -0 weather here right now and I have a tractor that is gelled and snow to plow. I was wondering what your procedure is to thaw one out. I've read PS 911 helps but not sure how to do it. Thanks Dave
  17. Checked it over a little yesterday and ball joints as well as the others are tight. Not sure what's going on.
  18. I gotta go left cause I just aint right!
  19. I drilled w/ turbo on. drill the pilot hole but not quite through, about 3/16". Remove chips. Drill tap hole and not quite through, remove chips. Now set up a shop vac or other with the smallest nozzle you have and direct it at the tap drill bit as you break through. Leave the shop vac there as you run the tap in. When done take a small magnet and put it in the hole and move it around to collect any chips that may have fallen through. I had next to none that fell down in. This is how I did it w/ no problems. Enjoy!
  20. Pass. side tire is wearing on the outside. Actually both are but pass. side much worse. Wheel is centered and truck goes down the road straight. Didn't notice any worn or loose parts. Before I spend a day in the alignment shop I wanted to try myself but not sure which way to go?
  21. I have a Glowshift boost gauge that has been real good to me. The FP gauge..... not so good. I went through 3 senders even with their snubber and a needle valve. Finally got a new gauge with the latest stepper motor technology and it read way off. New gauge but since I was not the original purchaser they would not hear about warranty. Needless to say I'm done with them.
  22. Hard to put a price on that. I have a little mechanic in the works as well.
