How to jack a trailer wheel up?
The 6,000 lb jack won't lift one wheel?? How big is the toy hauler and is it full of toys and water? Is the Jack stalling out of pushing into the ground? Something just dosn't seem right.

Trailer Brake Controllers
Mine is a Tenosha and it works well. Prodegy is one of the best.

Ignition switch won't work all the time. What's wrong with it?
The key could be wore down from being in his pocket with other metal objects. The second key may work better. If not I would say the switch is shot. I had to have a fresh key made for my 88 Ford Ranger.

65,0000 Miles..... a Few Questions.....
I traded my 98.5 at 110k and it still steered like new. It was never off road and seldom off pavement. --- Update to the previous post... I traded my 98.5 at 110k and it still steered like new. It was never off road and seldom off pavement.

Tire Update
The cracks in my tires were wide and deep. Like 1/8 in wide and deep. I didn't like running them with an empty truck let alone towing my tt.

aftermarket exhaust
The first mod we did was the Pinacle exhaust. It was a full 4in. No changes in TQ or HP. Later we bought a Edge EZ and used it on the 40hp setting. Also added a boost fooler. Hp went up 34 on the dyno and the TQ went from 385 ft lbs to 485 lbs. The truck towed our 32' Montana with a flat trailer behind very well. Our next mod was a Fass fuel system after another lift pump failure. Pulling the trailers up White bird hill I couldn't get the pyro past 1100*. I really don't think a 4 in system is necessary until the HP is like 350 and up. My truck was only 234 HP with the mods. The price was right for the exhaust. We won it at Diesel Thunder in Spokane. Second place for most HP stock. LOL lost out to a friends 3rd gen.

Tire Update
On my 98.5 the Michelins went 70k and still has some tread left. I replaced them with Kelly Springfields and they were good for about 40K, I put on some Coopers and they were not going to see 30K. I rotate every 5K miles. On my current truck an 07.5 the original Michelins were all cracked at 37k miles. The tread looked like it was good for at least another 30K. For my current tires they are Michelins. I am hopeing the cracked sidewalls were a fluke.

aftermarket exhaust
I dynoed my 98.5 with stock exhaust and then dynoed again with a full 4in system and strait through muffler. Same dyno and exactly the same numbers. The pyro was the only place I saw a difference. It ran a lot cooler. The dyno numbers for hp and torque were unchanged but it sounded at least 50hp better.

I can't imagine what it would be like to drive a 2nd gen that can actually stop.

Leaking Automatic Transmission lines need help...
All that rust must be from the stuff they spray on the roads in the winter. My old truck was rust free on the fittings.

Grandma still drives---Priceless!
That was great.

Leaking Automatic Transmission lines need help...
I had a similar problem on my 98.5. I paid for the Dodge lines and the mechanic slid some plastic tubing over them to help controll the rubbing problem.

Why monitor boost?
Boost involves boots and clamps that can sometimes leak. With a gauge you will notice what is not normal right away and be able to fix it before a hose might blow off and leave you sitting on the edge of the road. I have most things and a boost gauge is near the top of my list.

I was looking around the net and hit on Mopar1973man. I have read your posts on other forums so I decided to sign up. I am not much of a Dodge fan but I do like Cummins.
