  1. That I understand.................it was looking at all those equations!!!!
  2. Does Frantz have a spacer to put in the canister now.............due to the shrinking size of most TP rolls now???
  3. Do you recall Nazi Pelosi saying, "We need to pass it to know what's in it."
  4. Way over my head!!! But thanks!!
  5. I'm not picky at all. Free and close are great mottos for wood burners: unless you're a wood burning snob!!!! I burned a lot of box elder and ash last winter; and will again this year. I guess if'n I move up there, I could always ask the farmers/ranchers to cut down the standing dead trees in their shelter belts and all!!! That way they don't have to plow around it and/or move it themselves. Thanks!!!
  6. Didn't know wood burning was popular in NoDak!!! That's good to know, as it's where I may retire to. Is it hard to find wood sources???
  7. It went from really hot to really cool by you pretty quickly, hey??? Wasn't only a couple weeks ago you were still near 100*???
  8. Sounds like a stuck/seized caliper..................or a soft brake line with an aneurism with the inner lining!!
  9. For heat.......!!!Havent' had to at all so far............even though there's been some nights in the 40's!! After days in the 60-70's...............a night in the 40's just cools things down for me!!!I've read about folks that keep their home in the '80's whilst burning..................all I can say is that IMHO, they're wasting wood!!! I'd have to keep the dogs outside if'n I kept my house much over 68*F now!!! Even then, the pooches are hanging out in the "cool" parts of my little dump!!
  10. Is he "losing" oil based upon this leak??? If not, I'd let it go until it becomes an issue........................like 1 quart oil for every 2500 miles or so. If this were me; I'd get away, and stay away from that so-called "Cummins expert"!!!! Dorks Proverb........if it ain't broke, don't fix it until is!!!
  11. With 35's and being stock and w/ the 47RE................................Do we need to go further??!! Just saying!! And I'm most likely "wrong"!!!So have at it!!!!!!
  12. x2 here also. Almost 6 years with the SB Con OFE on Mighty Whitey.
  13. That's what I tried to point out in my prior post!!
  14. Is your speedo recalculated for the bigger tires???:shrug:If not, and your speedo reads 85mph, you're going about as fast as your truck can go based on the bigger tires.:2cents:I sure hope you're not driving like that around me!!
  15. Great answer!! But #7 still sticks for me!!
  16. John; I know YOU have several, if not more, good reasons for doing this, but I have to point out the potential negatives here also!!!! 1. Initial rim cost 2. 19.5" tires cost more vs. a comparable load rated 17" tire 3. 19.5" tires are hard to find..........especially if really needed..............like NOW!! 4. Limited sizes available 5. More rotating mass=decreased mileage 6. More rotating mass=increased stress on an already "near at-the-limit" front end on our '04.5+ trucks 7. IMHO, they look really bad Sorry, couldn't help but add #7!!!!!
  17. The "Banks" hard parts are usually of high quality. Don't know anything about the item you mentioned though.I used to work for the former wife of the owner of "Camping World"!! Total JAP...........silver spoon...........trust fund............debutant type.:ahhh:I was a "no body" in her eyes. Just a "means to an end.":smart:
  18. It would depend on what state(free vs. oppressed) whether you can "get away" with the deletes. Update your profile, or tell us where you live and that'll help us a bunch.
  19. Mike, Rogan............you can lead the proverbial horse to water....................but you cannot make him swallow if his mind is already made up.:cookoo:The emoticons are for the OP.
  20. Mike; I hear that the "New Village People" are looking for another member...............and that a fireman was preferred!!!! Any interest??? Kidding!!!
  21. I don't know if that's the case or not Mike. That's the same configuration that I have in my '04.5. No blinking here, which leads me to think of bad switches or frayed wires letting power go to the LED. Does it blink in a rhythmic manner or voluntary??
  22. Two stroke oil has a lower "pour point" than diesel fuel does. So adding 2 stroke oil; even in the small ratios that we do, has to lower the pour point of the diesel once mixed. It's probably "winterized" No.2 diesel that's mixed with the bio.........buts that's a SWAG.
  23. I used to recommend the GDP Walbro set-up. I actually still run that system. After that I used to recommend the Raptor. They've had some pump issues somewhat recently. Now I'd go with the "Fuel Boss". A couple members here have them installed. Do a search under the members name of "Lone Watie". He did a good write up about it.
