  1. Agreed...I couldn't read it either. Hopefully the guys involved let it end and don't take it to another level.
  2. Some information/discussion/drama...if any are interested can be read on the Duramax Forum. I posted link below, but if that is inappropriate, I apologize and mod please delete it. Thanks http://www.duramaxforum.com/forum/general-discussion/150508-dodge-vs-chevy-tug-war-goes-too-far.html
  3. That is likely the video. I will never understand why folks like to chain up this way as I don't feel it proves anything. Rumors (so I take them for what they are) are everywhere on the "character" of the two involved and even worse...just how far these two have taken this situation...someone possibly pulling a gun out at the end. Either way...they both have some growing up to do in my opinion. Instead of teaching someone a lesson, I feel all they did was escalate a bad situation into something much worse if any of the stories I've read are true. Of course I'm becoming an old fart according to some who know me, so opinions may vary hahaha
  4. What was the warranty with the box from Amazon? I assume it's the same 3 yr everyone else shows, but Amazon didn't say anything about a warranty. Thanks Bill
  5. I've always run Firestone on my trucks. Same bags on three different GMCs and never had an issue. I will get another set for the dodge, but this time with onboard air.
  6. Sorry bud...hope Karma gets them and you get your rig back in one piece!
  7. Congrats dripley!! I have dismantled most of my dash for a dash replacement as well and look forward to your write-up! Glad all went well and agree on the extra time ...I was just talking with a friend about how it always takes me muuuuuchhhh longer than others haha.
  8. Welcome
  9. Here in MA, I'm right on the coast (by cape cod) and it wasn't as bad as it could have been (or as I expected). I had a down tree and lost power a few times but never for more than a couple hours at a time. It did rip the roof off of a couple places and the beach erosion was pretty ugly in some places.NY, NJ and CT however are another story. CT seemed to be hit or miss based on friends reports. NY is just a complete mess.Really just depends area by area. Some got it hard and others it was nothing more than a decent storm.
  10. Wow - thanks Ryan for going the extra mile...I appreciate it!
  11. Thanks guys...I will give that article a read and see about contacting cumminsdog. Feeling better about atempting this one!
  12. Nice looking rigs. Best pics I have lol. Plan is bodywork and paint sometime before Spring.
  13. Morning folks - I have been reading for few hours on all the folks who share my issue lol. I've seen a few pics and some helpful hints but I was hoping to find a step by step DIY type thread. I need to address a water leak and replace the top of dash that is all cracked. I don't normally do my own work so was hoping somewhere there was a write-up.Does anyone know if there is one? I can't seem to find one in my searches. Thanks in advance!
  14. Sorry to hear it bro...hang in there...positive thoughts for you and your family!
  15. I've taken the carpet out of mine a few times and put it back in...not hard. I would think a molded replacement carpet would be easier to install though. As for the dash...from what I've read, I'll be going with LMC complete replacement when I'm ready and opinion on difficulty seems relative lol!Good luck and let us know how it goes!

    Welcome!

  18. Hey boys and girls - nothing important but could use some opinions. My truck came with stacks which I have replaced with simple 4" kit.Now I want to sell the stacks but don't know what to ask for $$. It is not a typical stack kit with Y pipe. Previous owner made his own piping for in the bed and attached the stacks to it. The homemade piece has a pipe that goes down through the bed like a typical kit. Pics of stacks are attached. The buyer will have to purchase piping from the downpipe to the pipe coming out of the bed, but I'm including in the sale, the diamond plate protection set up including all rails and hardware to attach.I was going to ask $350 for it all (most value being in the stacks and diamond plate. Unreasonable? I'm finding new kits to be about 600-700 if it includes the stack tips and an install kit. Install kits can be had for about 150 I believe.Thanks.
  19. Had hoped I wouldn't have to do it since the code were gone after the VP44 install, but they came back..so be it. Now for the leaks (again!!!). This time it's from the tale of the transfer case...seal didn't work so onto more expensive fixes.Stacks are gone too as of Friday...only took 6+ hours to remove stacks and install 4 inch system...holy rust/rot...thank goodness for good friends with the right tools a lift and free labor!
  20. Excellent - thanks Mike! Timbo Apps is on its way!
  21. AND....just like that...it's not running right again. Began with delays shifting into overdrive and now it's in and out the whole ride home last night. My shop had advised it was on it's way out but $$ had me waiting...not anymore lol.Looking at the Timbo Apps to save a little but wanted to see if anyone here did a write up on the install and or had any tips/tricks/pics. I did a search and didn't see much (or simply missed it) and didn't see one in the Articles. I did find the Article on the Suncoast re-wire of the ground. Thanks for any help folks....hope all are having a great day...the snow can stop and bring on spring any time now
  22. Real nice trailer...congrats!!
