VP or something else??
What, you think he has a vacuum because of the fuel cap? If so, I dunno if that would really make a difference. My AD165 can suck the fuel tank in like its a paper bag!

Prayers!
Yes Ma'am, thank you ma'am! I'm running on the end of a shoe string with money right now, so I would not be able to do anything. Only way it maybe could ever happen is if we had a funeral to go to... In which case, I hope I would never have to see you! But definitely thank you for the invite! I'd love to be able to visit on a better term then this! ALSO, no updates on her progress yet.. Watched the news last night locally and they said there has been 70 cases of the H1N1 in Spokane area and 2 people have already died from it.. I'm staying away from the Spokane area!

2002 Cummins Fuel In Engine Oil
Hmm, crav70, explain to us the process in which you replaced the injectors. Because they need to be done in a certain order to have a proper seating... If its not a pi$$ing injectors or any fault in the process of replacement, I'm out of an idea on what it could be...

2002 Cummins Fuel In Engine Oil
If its fuel in the oil then you are probably having fuel leaking from the injectors. Are they remanufactured injectors, or NEW? Did you change the crank oil after replacing the injectors? What type of injectors did you buy specifically? Other then that, I really cannot see fuel getting into the oil other than maybe somewhere in the crossover tube area... Are you sure its fuel? Did you do a paper towel drop test for a basic troubleshoot?

W&f, Check Your Water!
- Quick P0336 Question...

I've only got 2 dipricols left in my truck. They are probably on their way out...- W&f, Check Your Water!
Thats what I saw too, dorkweed! They only alluded once as to what the contamination could be and they said methane. But as we discussed earlier the methane is probably not from the fracking.- Prayers!
This is hitting home closer than I wish! So, not more than a year ago, I recall reading on prisonplanet, an article they released showing some scientist boasting about how they were able to make the H1N1 flu virus transferrable to humans! IIRC it was the swine flu that they made this possible with. Since it has been a while since I've read that article, I can't recall it accurately. Anyways, I call my pops up for just a casual talk. He decides hes just gonna drop a bomb in my lap instead! Most of my extended family lives in Reno area. My aunt, or my dads, brothers wife is in chemically-induced acoma. She had experienced the symptoms of the flu and was having trouble breathing and experiencing blueness in the extremities of her body. Uncle called the doc about it and told him to call 911 and get her to the hospital ASAP. Got her to the hospital and come to find out she is not the only person suffering the same. Took her hours to get admitted and get a bed. They then induced her and diagnosed her with double pneumonia! Come to find out, my grandma was having the same thing, went to the doctor and he said for her to get the heck out! Told her she was doing everything she could and to just keep doing it to get rid of it! ...my uncle has been in shambles over it and we are praying that this will turn him and his wife over to the Lord. They are not saved, but I ask for any and ALL welcome prayers that she gets through this and does not die from it! This is starting to become a pandemic as other areas of the US are being struck by this! According to my father, Spokane, Wa has reported their first case or death from this flu! ...I cannot but help hearing that echo now of those words in that article that I read months ago... I will keep you guys posted with the progress, what ever progress I hear about.- A Great Way To Gardening...
Alright, what is this wheat part about?- PacBrake question
So, I had an experience once with being in too low a gear on ice. Does the exhaust brake affect the vehicle the same way?- W&f, Check Your Water!

Wow! See, I somehow bring out the rarer things in people. Your the first person I have heard say that... I still 'am eyeing the diff gears, btw... Nope, they are saying the nv4500 is better... Do the 2nd gens with MT have coolers? I've only ran one grade with the 5th wheel that made me really wonder if I was going to make it to the top! It was at the George in Wa and I tried to keep the truck from unlocking but the EGT's were getting too high and then it unlocked because I was letting off the accel to slow down. But by lowering a gear in doing so, my EGT's went down, but with it unlocked, I started watching the trans. temp climb. I was able to keep the EGT's around 1000-1100 and the trans temp. at 200 degrees. I was doing about 45 up the grade which was alot faster then the 18 wheelers I was passing. They were probably doing 25-30 up the grade. Needless to say, it was something that caught me off guard! If I would have know that it was going to be what it was, I would have probably put it in a 4-lo and crept as fast as I could up that grade!- PacBrake question
I could most certainly see that becoming a problem...- A Great Way To Gardening...
WOW! But how many people is that? Between me and my wife, we were avg. $300 a month. That was with buying non-name brand products and occassional sales. We are probably doing about $100-150 now a month since we are "co-op" with the rest of the family. Meat is no longer on our grocery list unless its something we do not have like brats, etc. Except, I've got that coming off soon to as I have some grind that needs to made into brats since I accidentally added too much fat to our last years grind. Gardening, is something I hope to do and be able to hide in it and reflect on more important things. Where I can find my peace and silence from this world and think about the blessings the Lord has given us. It also helps to graze on the plants a little too, haha! I think what I will be doing with this thread here is use it as my gardening thread here soon. Showing what I've got and what I will be doing with it as I go. It will be interesting to see how it fares!- Hard/ No Start Problem
If you have an auto parts near you, like an O'reilly's, they can load test and test all of your electrical by just hooking it up to your battery. They will do it for free. I would start there with it. Chances are, they could tell you whats wrong just from that. Also, just my .02 cents here, but with the truck plugged in, and seeing those temps, I bet the grids would still cycle. The lowest the temp can be for the grids NOT to cylce is 66 degrees. 65 and colder, those grids will cycle. Yes, if you were to say plug your truck in at 65 degrees then I'm sure the grids would not cycle. But you are in sub zero temps!- A Great Way To Gardening...
I know what you mean, but I'm really motivated this year to do something since I really want purer food and have that liberty in gardening to provide for ourselves. I hope to keep ourselves from going to the grocery store very little for food. We have chickens now, and with our garden we should hopefully get alot of different foods. Then we are going to getting our beef cow(s) for meat and will are hoping to get a dairy cow within the next couple years. I also plan on having atleast 4 beehives this year as well. That would certainly cover alot of bases! We are trying to get a mill so we can do our own flour, etc. as well. All we need to do is buy from a local farmer the wheat, etc. As you can tell, I'm really concentrating on food this year... lol. You got that right, Mike! Up here we seem to get alot of rain. Sometimes it seems like I feel like in Seattle or something! The past few years have really sucked for a growing season. I recall when I first moved here, that there was alot of summer during the season. But now, it seems like its been getting shorter and shorter. I've been kicking the idea around for different ways to protect our garden. Most we are going to have to worry about will be deer, birds and small critters. If I can source some poles out of the forest, and I think I have a good spot to get them this year, we will be putting up a barbless fence and then put up hotwire. Then on the bottom 4 feet put up some chicken wire. Then top it off with a scarecrow... We shall see! I'd love to build a big greenhouse! But deer problems can be remedied too! - Quick P0336 Question...
