98 5.9 24 valve
Ehmm.. check the starter? If your starter is not cranking then its either going out or the batteries are dying. It should be pretty simple.

something wrong with my truck?
I too suffer from an unexplainable mpg loss... I dunno what its from, I'd sure like to have a scangauge to check it dynamically. I wonder if it could be a vp44 issue? Thats about the only other thing I have not touched besides the APPS. Then again, I do not think the APPS would cause such an issue. ...not saying yours is an IP problem.

Big Buddy Heater
Alright, so I looked it up. I thought we were speaking of the torpedo style heater? Its the smaller portable unit that uses propane canisters, right? They said indoor safe, but still said under emergency conditions. So, what do they classify it as such? As well, what in the world do you mean by, "cataleptic?" You mean, "Catalytic?"

Big Buddy Heater
I have thought about this same thing for my trailer. Getting all the heat of my fuel instead of having to lean on the trailers furnace that uses a heat exchanger.. Although, I have always been leery about such a thing as you hear about stories of people dying because they used their oven to heat their house, etc. I have had to deal with people dying from CO poisoning as well. It was from exhaust of a vehicle so its a little different in that instance. But the principal remains, the risk of CO poisoning. I would love the idea of using a heater just like you speak of, but I would NEVER use it while I sleep. You will never know it until its too late and your standing before God! Hence why people like to commit suicide in this manner. Atleast when you are awake, you can tell when you are starting to become affected by CO. As well, FYI, CO is VERY hard to remove from the body. Once you get an amount in you, your ability to keep an appropriate amount of oxygen in the blood is diminished. Not trying to be a party pooper, but just want to inform you of the risk before you do it. EDIT: Don't skimp on a CO detector. Buy a good one. You mention using it for safety and then skimp on quality. As well, CO is near the same density as air. So its going to be buoyant. Cracking a vent high or low is not as good as it will be somewhere in the middle.

Merry Christmas to All
Merry LATE Christmas! Spent time with family on my side for Christmas day and met my Mom's dad for the first time! Had all the family over and ate. Got some simple things. Come back home today to spend Christmas here on my wifes side. I got a smoker for my new hobby, beekeeping! Can't wait to start it!

dagnabbit... now I gotta take a drivers' test.
YEA! It makes me sweat a bullet here and there when it dawns on me and I go, "SHOOT!" When did it expire? They need to make a mail reminder just like they do for renewal of registrations...

Low Air Through Vents
I would think it would be the resistor. Either that or you have some sort of physical blockage in the system.

Brake bleeder system?
If you work on the passenger side rear, you have to go from there and work your way up to front driver side. If you did passenger front, then you do that and then driver front. The furthest is passenger rear, and closest is driver front.

something wrong with my truck?
Are you referring to his first post or most recent? I do not think your second video shows a normal operation at that temp. Mine certainly does not haze like that at an idle and certainly not that way even at initial startup... and I have larger than OEM injectors.

19.5's on the way!!
^I'm gonna have to get ahold of some these for me, too!

They even took down dumbo!
So, after watching a little bit of the Syria rebellion, I cannot help but notice how every sentence contains ALLAH ACKBAR! Gets annoying... so for a little comic relief, here it is: Satire much?

No crank
...no. Thats just a wire tensioned by a part on the steering column. It translates with the position of the shift lever. It has no relevance to the shifting at all except the gear shift indicator.

Start with the injectors...

LED Headlight
Hmm, I'm gonna have to look into this a little more... I have seen the HALO lights, but I dunno if they really do any good? Wait, maybe thats how its done? They are a type of projector lens. The halo's have a lense like a magnifying glass, where as regular headlight housings just are reflective, no focusing to it...

LED Headlight
I cannot remember if this has been posted up before. The other day I thought I stumbled onto a great idea.. Haha, well, I must say, I'm a day late and a dollar short! Does anyone have LED headlights? I was trying to see if they were any good. Brightness, etc. I'm talking about the bulb itself. Instead of the usual filament bulb, its the same style, but has multiple LED's on it. Something like this:

Antifreeze leak in wheel well
...the heater core. Drain for HVAC is on passenger side in the engine bay on the firewall towards the bottom. But like I was saying, if your heater core is leaking, you should be able to smell the coolant when you have the blower on high and hot. If I was you, I would just monitor the coolant level and let it be. Keep some extra coolant handy and when the problem finally does start to show more, then you will what to fix instead of spending gobbs of money replacing everything...

So, can I use you as a reference for a job, now? Seems like you need to know someone to get in...
