This is what I deciphered from W-T's post also. That's why I asked for a basic simplification of exactly what W-T actually re-wired .

I got a work out this morning, Washed my truck with Ivory dish soap and Waxed most of the truck I used a free sample pack of Maguiars Ultimate on the roof and Maquiars Tec Wax ll NXT. on the hood front fenders, bed sides and tail gate top part of doors, cause thats what I had. I'm going to get some Nu Finish next time im at the store Worked up a good sweat I used some Blue Magic aluminum polish on one of my Rims last Saturday. 3 more to go My nice clean shiny waxed truck should last about 1/2 hour.... Because I live on a dirt road and also dogs and horses are always kicking up dust too ..

If you are going to sell your truck , don't spray rhino lining on the rockers !! UGH ! .

I just did some reading on nu finish. I was wondering if it had abrasives to polish No abrasives in it. So its not actually a polish , its a sealer I dont want abrasives so that's good. I noticed maguiars NXT tech wax 2 and Ultimate now have synthetic polymers in them I have some maguiars Tech Wax ive been using. It doesnt last very long at all. And I just use water when washing,,,, no detergent type soap I have some ivory soap I might use to wash then use Maguiars or Nu Finish right after

Does any one use Nu Finish? Orange bottle I used it many years ago and liked it at the time for what I was doing

Put some Oil internally will increase reliability put some 2 stroke oil in your fuel . .

Headlights ? Well I just replaced the Glass sealed beams on my '81 chevy k20 cause one was bad What a pleasure working on it. Easy access, nice glass lenses, nice stainless steel metal piece with 4 screws that holds the sealed beam into a steal bucket. All quality, no plastic Junk... Total cost for two headlights about $12.00

Do you put that stuff in a smaller pump spray bottle ? I know a guy that swears by using industrial upholstery cleaner, He gets a 5 gal container. Puts it in a little gardeners spray bottle. Says it works way better. I cant remember what kind it was or why upholstery cleaner works better. like $60 for 5 gal. .

I have 285/75/16s I have 8 1/2" and my truck doesnt look sagged at all compared to other trucks around here He's got a lift .

What size tires? . What size tires? You must have a lift kit of some sort or real tiny tires.. .

I just disconnected my grid heaters a couple months ago. My truck always cycled engine RPM up and down when first start up at Idle ,,, I used to think that was some kind of computer warm up cycle. Dumb guess Was that just the grid heater drawing current and the alternator charging that caused that engine RPM up and down at idle? It doesnt do that idle rpm cycle anymore after I disconnection the grid heats

Nuttins goin' bad on the grid heaters ..... Its the massive draw and cycling they put on the alternator and batterys,,, Is my thinking .

I concur I had a bad alternator diodes and my ECM had a delayed boot up I rebuilt my alternator with new diode pack and replaced the brushes too Rechecked my alternator AC out put.with my fluke multi-meter...was good Then I broke down and spent the bucks on a New ECM.... All is good and working great now . .

There is a thread saved on this site of Known good and bad ECM re-manufacturers I dont know how to find that thread , some one will post it shortly. My bad ECM just had a delayed boot up when you turned the ignition switch on I got a good ECM .

The snubber I got from Vulcan is .165 hole... So these sinster metal ones are not even a snubber, its more of a small filter It looks like the large whole sinster metal one in the picture above I have a needle valve snubber now. Every thing is workig good now .

Does it work ? with a fass pump, 1/2" fuel line, Tee about a foot from the vp44 ? The snubber I got from vulcan didnt do anything. I had a extreme gauge bounce .

Is that a used Fass you got from someone else? Did they stretch the spring or something? 20 psi is higher than Fass sets them and tests them at is what they told me .
