@Me78569  Forgive me but what vehicle selection do I need to chose for this new 2.7.2 betta release? I just reinstalled the app on my phone, my truck is 02 6spd. I'm going to try and play with it today and want to see new mpg and other options you've been working on. Thanks.

I'm guessing I need to chose v2 quadzilla only ? until they relise a new app vehicle that is specific?

or is it v2 quadzilla only test2, because it says version 2.7

So I tried this betta tune and all seems good. On boost offset I'm at 11 and quad matches mechanical guage pretty close but at idle I'm at 2 if I put 10 then I'm at 3 and if 13 I'm at 0 but then it doesn't match as it goes up, not sure if I'm making since. So it's kinda back to where it was before last few updates, can't remember which flash it was where at idle I had 1 to 2 psi showing at idle. But at least now it follows mechanical gauge. 

On eco I didn't drive enough to see how accurate but love the idea, got it set at 120 for now seems to be where I think it's close but will need to put some miles on to calculate offset. What is a good starting point for 75hp or so. Other than that all great additions thanks for all your time once again Nick.

Set the offset for however you see fit.  If you want to have it idle at 2 to make it match your gauge then no prob there, just know your tunes start at the 2 psi setting.  

 

I would personally run it so idle = 0 psi just to give you more tuning room ya know?   

 

132 was good for my 100 hp injectors so 120 will be pretty close for 75's.

FYI for the beta guys,   this flash has a built in "easy timing" mode.  :)  

 

If you set all these timing variables to 0

Fuel load:0

light load:0

tps reduct:0

reduct Scale:0

light load limit:0

 

 

Then your quad will do timing like it used to, but it will be an addition to stock timing at each rpm in the timing equalizer

 

So if you set this as your timing curve

 

1500: 3* over stock timing

2000: 4* over stock timing

2500: 5* over stock timing

3000: 6* over stock timing

Max: 7* over stock timing

 

then you will get oem timing + 3* at 1500,  oem plus 4* at 2k and so forth

 

 

I dont like this method nearly as much because it doesn't allow you to set the curve how you want it so much, but it might prove useful for a tow tune or something.  Maybe you dont wanna spend a ton of time dialing in what you truck likes. or maybe you like stock timing.

 

 

the word of warning is ensure you are not heavy on the throttle when you change between the tune types,   IE if you have a tow tune that uses easy timing, and a race tune that uses the v2 timing then don't change tunes when you are under significant load.   you will notice timing go "wacky" as the new tune applies.

@Me78569 I think this is the ticket. I am starting my daily tune at 65%. before it was ungodly annoying to drive around town. I would either have to take Corners really fast to stay in 3rd gear or really slow to downshift into second and not hit that 950 RPM while loading a little bit. Now I can do whatever I want really. I can drive it just like I used to. I do notice that little lull right at the 950 ish mark but it's nothing compared to what it was overall this is the best that I have felt. I would imagine if I would be able to run my starting percentage a little higher it would be practically unnoticeable. But until I figure out my injector issue I'm going to have to leave it right where I'm at. With that being said is there a guide or estimate or some way to figure out miles per gallon offset per injector size? Or is this just something that I'm going to have to guess and check until I get right? Currently I have it at 175% for my 6x.013 injectors just guessing...

 

Side note, does anyone have any 7x.012 7x.014 or 6x.013 injectors or something similar I could borrow/rent as a test to see if mine have problems and need sent back?

You will have to guess on offset as I don't know anyone running 6 x.013 but I would guess 160 would be close.  Technically my 7 x .012 flow more and I am at 155 

 

Glad you like it.  I am happy with it.  Hopefully now I will stop messing with stuff.

Coincidence or not, I don't know, but ever since the last update my app has stopped responding or froze way more often than before. Not sure if the base tune could really have anything to do with that, I don't think it could, but it's definitely happening to be honest I'm doing speech to text right now as it's trying to load and right now it won't even reload. The progress bar is just going across and it keep saying variables failed to update after it froze randomly. Not sure what's going on going to shut off my truck and restart it and see what happens.

Ok so I think I have my other issues figured out. After a long night of completely overhauling my compound piping, I must not have got the snap ring in the back of my hx35 fully and blue the housing off of it at about 70 PSI. Which in turn ruined my compressor wheel but luckily I had my old cast wheel that I just dropped in there today. But now I'm seeming to have another issue almost seems tuning related. When I'm accelerating hard at steady throttle around 2500 rpm I am getting what seems to be a miss or bucking. If I accelerate harder it works out of it but then it comes back in around 3400 but then it comes back in around 3400 RPM like you would expect when it gets to the top of its fueling. It just kind of feels the same for a small stretch between 2200 and 2500 rpm I have noticed that in my daily tune and my go fast tune. I went to look at the data log and for some strange reason it said max timing 510º not sure why or how it can even say that but I tried to export and like usual the app stopped responding. I will post up my Tunes here shortly but it almost seems like a timing issue although my timing isn't overly dramatic I don't think

Ok so here's a data log and disregard the tunes I just posted up here is what I had with this data log

The miss is terrible under strong accelerating. Full throttle isn't as bad but 35-75% throttle is horrible. Around line 1388 the truck actually died happened twice today after hard pull and letting off has never done that before...
