Posted April 6, 201213 yr Yall woulnt see me on here until probably about the 22nd of April, why you ask? Well Im headed to New Zealand and Australia for 2 weeks!!-Jordan-
April 6, 201213 yr Have a great time! Bring LOTS of cash! My Brother went to Australia for business last summer (all expenses paid by the Ford Mustang club there) and he said the prices were thru the roof!
April 7, 201213 yr Author Thanks guys, as far as internet goes if u can find wifi most of the time you have to pay per amount you use or for certain time periods so i dont know how often ill be on, and dont worry i brought plenty of cash just hope i dont spend it all!! lol-Jordan-
April 12, 201213 yr Author Well a few things ive learned while over in Australia, if u want to quit smoking just move over here its $16 a pack, and the elevators over here would be no where close to legal in the U.S. they rival the Tower of Terror in speed ha ha. The prices on alot of other things over here would blow your mind too, $46 for a whole frozen turkey!-Jordan-
April 12, 201213 yr Author ha ha i havent seen one yet but i probably do need to check lolAnd yes it is true the water in the toilet does spin the opposite way of the toilets in the US -Jordan-
April 12, 201213 yr I'd spin the opposite way if I had to buy a pack of smokes or a turkey at those prices. I hope they make scale wages down under.
April 12, 201213 yr Hey Marble,Have you done your "slip and slide" routine "down under" yet???!!! They do have some "decency" laws down there you know!!
April 12, 201213 yr Author Still looking for one, its kinda rainy right now i could go for it on some nice green grass I guess . I dont know what their pay scale is down here yet, ive been meaning to ask what minimum wage is and everything here. More outrageous prices for ya. 6 pack of Guinness is $18 and a 12 piece package of the Ferrero Rocher choclate candy truffle things is $16.49! Beautiful country and im glad i got to visit it but i dont know if i could live here! The only thing thats pretty close to the same price is fuel, diesel is a little under $6 a gallon -Jordan-
April 13, 201213 yr From the cost you are quoting I'd try the grass for free. Just remember them decency laws. I dont think any of us know a bondsman in Australia.
April 25, 201213 yr You should be back now. I've always wanted to go to New Zealand by way of Cook Island.
