Do those 4th gen wheels have a weight rating anywhere on them?

Here's everything that's on them. The numbers don't come up with much when I search them.

I've never heard of them cracking, and I've loaded them down / bounced over rocks etc. I think they look good too!

Ordered a set of fast coolers and some Amsoil for the G56 http://www.amsoil.com/shop/by-product/transmission-fluid/manual/manual-transmission-and-transaxle-gear-lube-75w-90/?page=%2fstorefront%2fmtg.aspx... Ugh, 8 quarts of fluid! I should be able to have the temp sensor installed now. Also got a buddy to buy the extra cooler, so that didn't hurt as bad.

Hopefully buying shocks pretty soon as well. They're getting tired at 208K! Not sure if I'll go with Rancho or Billstein...

Mostly because all of the reading I've done on it. Many people say it makes it harder to shift during winter because it's a straight weight oil, unlike the 75w90. Because I take the truck snowmobiling a lot I really need to be able to shift with I70 traffic (It's miserable!) The Amsoil is also a GL4 rated fluid, which is what's supposed to be in there. I'll also have a temp sensor in the PTO cooler, so we'll see if it's running in the right temperature range. If the transmission has a ton of gear rollover or is hard to shift I may look into the Mobil 50w

 

I've heard good and bad about the bilstein.... some say too rough, some say excellent!

It's just the price that sucks.... I can get the Rancho for under 50 each (buddy works at a parts store)

I believe those are the same ones... I don't think bilstein makes a "specific" one for the dodge, but I can't seem to find a part number on their site.

Sorry wasn't trying to say that the ones you were looking at weren't 5100s. Just that the ones from CJC seem to have some extra work done to them to be valved for our trucks. Where as your "normal" 5100 are just valved for multiple use applications from bilstein.

Im not trying to start an argument, but I personally would be shocked if they do anything different for those shocks than say the are for dodge trucks. I highly doubt they are physically different in any way. Just my opinion of course. Now I have heard and wouldn't be surprised if there are different lengths of the 5100s to account for different size lifts.
