Welp, just ponied up for another year, and I've got to say that this one of the better expenses that I have. The amount of technical knowledge, experience, and willingness to share is outstanding and needs to be supported. For those of you who use this site for information and advise (as I do) remember, it costs money to keep it up and running. Mike and his Mods aren't trying to make money, they're just trying to cover costs. For less than $10 bucks a month we can maintain this site, and continue to have access to one of, if not the best sites for our trucks. Remember, information not shared, is information lost. Mark

Well, I'm completed with chemo and all surgeries... This all comes at a cost to me of 8 months of cancer treatment has weakened me quite a bit. I'm slowly working with my body giving myself a chance of pushing a bit and working muscles that haven't worked in 8 months. I'm off all my Big Pharma drugs and my blood pressure is back to normal. No pain meds or anything. I'm back to using my herbs are supplements and managed to keep normal blood pressure now. I'm now without a bladder or prostate I will never have bladder cancer again. This is a weird one I know people have phantom limb and experience pain and a sense of feeling. How about having a phantom moment t…

Hi guys, the time has come to make the major decision whether to put a good amount of money into the old girl (1998 3500), or just sell her and get a newer truck. Here's what I come up with as far as the pros and cons of each. 1998 Pros Paid for, New injectors, new tires, Quadzilla, NO emissions, Cons Rust, needs patch panels/bed or flat bed, will need clutch, rebuild or replace turbo, starting to have electrical issues, 370,000 miles 2014-2018 Pros 200,000 less miles, body/bed in good condition, updated features, Cons Payments, EMISSIONS, probably stuck with automatic, unknown probs/issues Any comments,…

Thought I would take a minute and share why I've been a little absent from the site lately. I will try to condense this some as it has been over a year long process. My dad was in a bad car accident on Oct. 7th 2023 which landed him in the hospital for quite a long time between his injuries, emergency surgeries, various infections along the way and lots of rehab to finally get him back home to live nearly 1 year later. After about 3 weeks at home he passed away. He was on some pretty heavy duty blood thinners to avoid clips and the like but unfortunately he began loosing his balance again. We were discussing putting him back into rehab or assisted living since…

As luck would have it my truck runs but isn’t road worthy and I’m trying to get it moved from eastern Montana to northern Illinois. Both addresses are immediately off the interstate. Does anyone here have recommendations for who I can hire to move my dually? None of my retired friends are up to the task

Got to spend a day at L&L classic auto in Wendell, ID last week. They have 120 acres of vehicles from the 20’s and up. They loaned us a trailblazer for $10 to tool around the yard in. My friend Dan got some parts for his 59 Plymouth and my other friend Matt got a door for his 82 mustang. The yard was awesome, my only complaint would be the pricing. They tell you when you get there not to remove anything until you get a price just in case you don’t like it. Thankfully I was only there for the scenery and to help scout.

Disclaimer: Some people might get their feelings hurt. Just turn and walk away is the best suggestion. I'm in a "pissed off" mood so be aware I'm not going to be nice in this post. Now everyone here knows I'm currently trying to deal with my bladder cancer. I'm not allowed to work on vehicles at all because of my bags and tubing. Then I'm not allowed to make any profit on the website being I'm being watched by the Fed's and Idaho State Government. Don't send donations this could push my income over the limit and cause me to lose all my benefits. That being said I'm limited on what I can do here. The store has to remain offline till after all my surgeries …

Then woke Jakob up and also informed him. Got dressed and hauled for McCall ID to the hospital. Spent most of the day up there with tests and CT scans. Holy cow! I just had a phone call from way down under in Australia. It our Ford Conversion with a 24V Cummins. I've got to do a bit of email support to get the info passed along to his mechanic. Seriously like WOW!!! I've got people calling from all over the planet. This crazy Mopar Man is still reaching to far corners of the world with tech support for Cummins Engines.

Being that my previous thread is causing a stir in the crowd because of my photos and my cancer and dealing with depression. I'll no longer be posting till I'm done with my cancer and medical issues. Sad that a member came forward to tell other member are not happy with what I posting. So I'll catch you all in 6 to 9 month possibly when it all over. Not fair to me to be responsible for help everyone else then when I need help or I wish to share what I doing in my life I'm suppose to keep a certain image. Sorry I can't right now so I'll see you all when it over in 6 to 9 months. I will not be doing any tune work. No support. Nothing till I'm done w…

Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2024 brings us all more peace and prosperity. I for one will be hoping for a better start to the new year since the end of '23 was not a great one. Mom had some infections partially due to her diabetes and dad was involved in a bad accident totaling his 2022 dodge ram 1500. It was not his fault luckily but he has been in the hospital or rehab since October 27th. It's been a long difficult time trying to take care of mom at home and dad in the different facilities trying to heal. Also hoping and praying for a change in our country's government this next year. We need to get out of this terrible situation we are in as a nation. …

Well I was surfing Tiktok this morning and ran across someone playing with ChatGPT and wondered what talking to a AI app on your phone would be like. I downloaded and fired up ChatGPT. Grabbed my earbuds and had a chat with AI. I was playing around trying different questions. Well look for yourself. Then I continued my chat about economy tuning which got interesting ask about thermodynamics and efficiency of the Cummins engine which gave me some tuning clues I'm going to try this winter. See how far I can continue to push out the MPG numbers. Here is another question I asked that agrees with what I already knew but again go…

There is a lot going to start happening again here. I know without a doubt I've got to change servers and get on to a server with up-to-date technology again being I've worn another server out to the point it can't be upgraded to current versions. This poses a problem with the new operating system I'm moving to I've never worked with before. Great something all new and different to learn about. Then the new server will have AlmaLinux compared to CentOS 7 Linux. Then Almalinux doesn't have WHM/cPanel server interface which Almalinux will move over to InterWorx for a control panel. This is going to take me some time to do. Yeah, I've got to move very soon being…

Did I read here that W-T had a fire at his home? Or did I confuse it with someone else? Hopefully everything is good. Also, what happened to LorenS.....I think that's his name. He kinda disappeared..... And what's up with Doubletrouble? He's MIA also..... Any updates on the chicken man? Can't recall his name on here, but others know who I mean. Hope he's doing well also.... Just some random wonderings I had while checking through the site tonight....
