  1. Started by Collinst15,

Good morning all, Name's Tim and I am relatively new to diesels. Been a member of forum for some time but thought I would post an introduction. I have a 1999 Dodge 2500 24v Cummins with 169k. I bought the truck from my father in law and it was owned by my wife's grandfather before that. My father in law bought it with intentions on flipping it, but I needed a camper hauler so I bought it for $2500 as is. Truck was in rough shape when I bought it. I did a full body swap/semi restoration. Truck runs like a top. Current mods are BHAF, Quadzilla Xzt+, Airdog 165-4G, full set of Isspro gauges (EGT, Trans Temp, Boost, Fuel Pressure). Future pla…

I've been lurking since I got my 01. Before I had a 94 powerstroke and decided it was time for an upgrade. Now I'm rolling with a 01 ext cab 24v. So far I've just thrown a quadzilla adrenalin 2 with Bluetooth for my tablet and a airdog 2 165 gph on it. I just got my ARP studs in the mail along with a set of DAP 125 horse injectors. Hopefully those will go in after the girlfriends dad doesn't have my truck red tagged for ujoints and axle seals. I've been trying to get the hang of tuning my truck myself, but for now I'm just going to grab everyone elses.

  4. Guess what? lol I'm still alive...... Had a few things change in my life so now maybe I will be here a bit more often. Just a bit of info, wife and I sold our house about a year and a half ago so we have been full timing in our RV since. We upgraded to a 38' fiver last year and even upgraded from my 1996 2500 to a 2005 3500 CTD auto dually! Believe it or not it only had 88k miles on it! This is what my new (to me) ride looks like. Tom

Howdy, I have lurked for years on here and decided to sign up. Prior to this truck I rolled a '90 7.3L IDI with a sidewinder which grew on me left much to be desired when pulling the camper/boat combo over the passes around here. I've had my '00 Dodge since 2006 and use it about 20-30 time a year for dragging the 5th Wheel around the Cascades and taking the boat to various locations. She has been a great truck and I've done all the work, but the last few years has found some bigger repairs being needed. A new VP44 went in last summer, a leak on the front of the motor needs to be diagnosed and now I'm throwing in some RV275s and dealing with a potential dead pe…

Figured I'd introduce myself. Name's Jeremy, from Colorado Springs, CO. I'm running what's in my signature block, a '99 Ram 2500. This is my 2nd, 2nd gen. I missed my old truck so much, I had to get another.

  8. Started by Ben,

Hi guys!! Im new here. Just brought home a 2002 2500 Laramie 6 speed with 103xxx miles. Bone stock. It felt like home. I originally had a 2001.5 that I bought in 2002 and discovered the world of a modded Cummins. It was a lot lot of fun. I learned that 310 horse at rear wheels has zero issue pulling out and passing people at 70 with 20k on the deck of gooseneck. Seats killed me on road trips. Lost my mind and sold it in 2011. Dumb ***. Regeretted that sale 3 months after it. Bought a little speedy just wrong 2500 a few years ago. Absolute men…

Howdy, I was testing your aim, and everyone that made it in has passed my initial evaluation. There will be more evaluations to come. ... I joined the forum due to the shear mountain of proven and documented knowledge I was able to quickly and easily find. Every time I was looking for some piece of information one of the ambassadors to this forum was answering the question without the usual forum BS and opinion injection/thread derailment. After continuing to hit the same few members screen names over and over on multiple forums it seems their culmination of knowledge resides on this website ... so I joined. I recently purchase…

  13. Hello all, my name is Don and I'm from the breadbasket of the world, the California central valley. I work for a large poultry producer and run a fleet maintenance shop maintaining class 8 trucks and trailers and agricultural equipment. I've been turning wrenches for over 35 years and love it. I have an '01 3500, quad cab, dually, 6 speed all stock. I bought it used about 4 years ago with only 200k on it. It's a little rough around the edges and I have some bugs to work out but nothing major. It gets me 23mpg and it will haul anything I need so I think I'll keep it for a while. I've been reading a lot of these threads trying to figure out my fuel pressure issue. So…

Good evening everyone! My name is Conner. I currently live in Rigby ID with my wife, newborn son (1st) our dog Renegade, and 3 ducks (wife will always be a farm girl). I just bought my first truck this last weekend and I decided I would do it right the first time so I bought a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT Long bed extended cab with the 5.9 cummins 6spd Manual with 208k on it. The list of things done to it are as follows. Leveling kit 285/75R17 Toyo Open Country M/T on raceline raptor rims gooseneck hitch bumper hitch towing package (helper springs) trailer brakes S&B cold air intake 80hp injectors Quadzilla Adrenaline with the …

Hi there, I'm 32 and live on Vancouver Island, BC. My mechanical skills are fairly novice but I like working on my own vehicles (love/hate relationship sometimes). I've been lurking for a while, and have been following Mopar's posts here and other forums for quite a while. I plan on keeping my 1999 24v for a very long time so I'll hopefully be here for a while. It's mostly stock but I have done some small things like the BD flowmax lift pump. I take the view I have my truck for a marathon race not a sprint but in the future I would like to do a few small performance upgrades for towing etc. From what I have seen I like this resource for…

Hey guys, my names Derek I'm from Redgranite Wisconsin. Been lurking around here for a few months now, I must say this place is addicting. I currently have a 01 2500 quad cab shortbox 4wd auto. It's my first 24 valve. Pretty much stock except for a diablosport power puck and mbrp 4"turbo back straight exhaust and a bhaf. Named her the bluebird because it's patriot blue and I guess it fits. I've had plenty of 7.3 power strokes in the past but figured it's time for a Cummins. I work for JX Peterbilt as a service tech/ 2nd shift service manager. I hold Cummins full service qualifications in the ISX,ISM,ISL,ISB,ISC,and N14 family's of engines. Also am Paccar MX engine c…
