Thanks for adding me to your fourm! First pic is what's left of my 99 2500, 4x4, 24 valve Cummins auto tranny ride. My son was not hurt fortunately, but drunk driver with suspended license had no insurance of course. Typical Coal Region mentality. Knocked the rear end right out from underneath the truck. Engine is still good with 160,000 miles and serviced regularly. Pretty much stock. 5" exhaust, BHAF, Fass Fuel Pump! Second pick is a 99, 3500 dually 4x4 with manually tranny. No engine, but was as also a 24 valve. Not many engine parts come with. Would like any input on what to do with my engine before I install it in 3500. Such as new seals, gask…

Hey, just wanted to introduce myself, I'm from Northern Idaho and have a 2002 QCSB with a HO Cummins and 6 speed manual. I found the site looking at HID retrofits and it looked like a great community to be a part of. Attached a pic of my truck for those who want to see it.

Don't think I've ever introduced myself on here so here goes. My name is Scott and first I want to thank everybody for such kindness and great feedback. I really look for that in a forum. I don't cuss, don't drink (maybe a beer or two per year though some of my truck mods/repairs I've done should have required whiskey!) I'm happily married for 16 years and have 3 wonderful kids (11, 9, & 6). We cannot emphasis how much we LOVE camping trips together and that involves pulling with the ole mule. I'm happy to say today that I got my first compliment on my rig from a co-worker who is a chevy guy. He said that it was the best running 2nd gen he's ever been in! I own …

New guy here. My everyday driver for about 8 years now is a 1995 Reg Cab 2500 4x4, 12v and I love it! However, just this week I picked up a 1999 3500 Extra Cab 24v 4x4 for what I thought was a really good price. It's gonna need some tlc though. This place looks to be a wealth of info. I look forward from learning what I can from you guys!

Hello All, I've been hanging around here for a while but just joined in November. I have been an industrial electrician for 36 years (Yikes!) doing everything from construction to machine controls to electronics. It never gets old. My wife and I have been married for 39 years. Yikes again!!, and we have two adult children and grandkids which of course is the best part. Getting ready to give the truck in my signature a makeover. Just picked up an iquadBT during the Black Friday sales which will be getting installed soon. I will set it to fuel saving for now with no wiretap initially as I need to do some upgrades to the transmiss…

I can hear the groans....'geesh.. him again'. LOL anyway lifes' beatdowns aside, and a new ISP (no longer Hughes.net) I was fortunate to have a cell tower built about 6 miles from me so i thought i'd give it a whirl. I'm getting about double the speed up and down, and my current plan is 3x the data for approximately half the price of my late satellite provider. No blackouts due to cloud cover either..' Long and short of my absence is well, farming and ranching is highly mechanized, and the past couple of years has been soul sucking on my mental health... keeping stuff in running order.. …

Hello from Kodiak Alaska! I've been lurking around here for years, and have found many helpful tips and much information when finding and fixing the first problem I had with my Dodge - Old Blue. Old Blue is an early 1998.5 with the 215hp Cummins 24V and automatic transmission. It is a Quad Cab 4x4 dually. Nice big truck - God help me check my sanity if I ever buy another one like this....Just Kidding. Been a good rig, but not without some problems with design and 'quality' issues. I'll be looking for some help and more information. Its looking more and more like I may be trying to find a replacement ECM for Old Blue. Thanks-

Hello to the board. I have already posted a couple of times elsewhere but I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Dave I am originally from SLC UT, I currently live a few miles north near Hill AFB. I am a Computer Science Major working as a Software Engineer. I am also in the Air National Guard and have been in the Air Force in one form or another for 19 years which is also how long I have also been married to my sweetheart (wife not my truck). Merry Christmas to all! My name is Lance. I reside in Missouri about 12 miles from the Arkansas border. Own my own business and we run the family cow/calf operation. I have an ALL black 99 DRW. When I bought the truck it was basically stock. Had an Edge comp box on it. Since owning it I'm currently running a Valair DD, DAP 150 sticks, BD 63/68/14 non-gated, ARP studs, water/meth system(only to cool while towing), Fass with Draw Straw and 1/2 inch lines, Comp box(now unlocked), and 4 inch TBE to 8 inch stacks. She's got 340,000 on her and I would get in it tomorrow and pull my 40 gooseneck full of cattle to Texas, which we do fairly often. I should say I'm 48 years o…

Good afternoon! I figured I officially say hello. I've been a sponge for a couple years absorbing as much as I can from the wealth of knowledge here. Back in April my 99 2500 gave its life to save mine so in May I purchased a 2000 2500 and was finally able to drive it home in September!

Hello All..... Just thought I would stop in here and introduce myself. I am from Shady Shores, Texas and I am a Field Technician for Caterpillar (don't hate). I currently do not own a Mopar (Dodge) but I do have a 2002 5.9 H.O. Cummins and an NV4500 that I am in the process of rebuilding. After I do that I will be installing it into my 1957 Chevy Truck. Again, don't hate. I know I will have questions regarding my engine and transmission.....and that is why I am here. To learn as much about it as I can. Thanks for a GREAT forum Mike...and to all the staff at mopar1973man.com. Frog
