Quadzilla Power

So I just ordered a quadzilla iquad and my question is should I start with a daily tune that I can download from here or just make my own? I won't be using the wire tap so do I need to set the wire tap values to 0 or just leave them alone. Thanks for any help. Also got a fass coming too.

So the truck has been sitting for a month or so and the batte ries went dead. I unplugged the quad and jumped it and got it running. When I shut the truck off and plugged the quad back in it clicked the power on and off 3 times and then the truck stayed on. When I then started the truck it loped and popped so bad it almost shut off so I killed the truck and not 2 seconds later the dash flashed 3 times an d the quad turned the truck back on. I am now trying to connect it to a computer to see if I can update it but neither of the 2 computers I o wn (which worked before) even recognize the quad. I have an Amazon Fire that I use for the IQuad controls. Last night I loaded the Quad Driver and Quad V2 on my Windows 7 laptop. Followed the instructions in the "How to" post. I'm wondering if something didn't work right. While it was on the command prompt window (black box) I heard relays clicking and the interior chime started going. The keys were not in the ignition at the time. After all was complete I started up the truck and pulled it in to the garage. I noticed the check engine light was on. Then went to shut down the engine, it did not turn off when moving the key to "off". It was at an idle the whole time. I pulled the engine control fuse to shut it down. That m…

So is there anyway to tell if the tune I'm using is uploaded? I know you can check the build date to make sure the V2 is activated, but what about the tune I have selected? I feel like I'm just clicking upload and not really feeling a difference between my performance tune and my daily tune. I apologise but I'm pretty green to all this. Anything helps, thanks!

Looking over DAPs site at the new quad and I managed to further confuse myself, partially because there are 4 different prices for the 98.5-00 Adrenalin. If I buy the $642 one does it come with V2 tuning or is that extra? Do I need the add on BT module as well? Does a base tune come with it? Will it work on windows 10? In other words will I be ready to go with just the tuner or must I add something? OK, that was more than 1 question. Thanks in advance.

Since @Me78569 and company have the tuning thread for performance side. I'm going to start the ecomony and MPG thread for the Quadzilla Adrenaline. I'll be posting up my MPG logs and all data I can provide of what I've got going on. So I finished up installing my Quadzilla Adrenaline with V2 programming and absolutely love it!!! Man I wish I had never wasted money on another programmer really happy with what it is capable of. But I do have a few questions, I have read Mikes programming info guide, but maybe I need some things in a more dumb downed version lol. But the more I read it the more pieces I seem to put together. Question 1) when I really get on it and hit 5 gear where it has a long time to pull hard, power fades in and out? Ok fellas I have a quad on the way and this is all new to me! I would like some help building a few tunes. My current 7x00.85 injectors are popping low so timing numbers need to reflect that. I want a mpg tune with some nice power, an all balls tune and a safe towing tune. I have the app downloaded and will be playing with it and entering in tunes as they’re written here. Like title said I just installed the Quad and fired the truck up to find P1693 and I believe that is Map sensor? I couldn't find a definitive answer online, just something about boost error or something. I can say though that the plug on the Quad harness that the stock plug goes into after replacing it with the one on the Quads harness wont snap over the security tab, if that makes sense. Maybe I'm not pressing it hard enough or maybe it is in there, I don't know however, but I can say it is about to go over and snap secure, it just wont. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I currently have 125 hp DDP Injectors and a 62mm silver bullet turbo. The truck is studded and I just upgraded to the V2 tuning on my quadzilla trying to lower my EGTs because I pull 0 boost at cruising speeds. Drove 5 hours this afternoon at a constant 70 mph and was pulling 0 boost. EGTs we’re sitting at 1150 constantly and my gas milesage was about 14mpg. With the stock turbo, which was on a month ago, I could pull 8 psi at 70 no problem and my EGTs were 900. Wondering what I should do to get that turbo to spool at lower rpms and lower my EGTs. Once I hit 2k rpms the turbo fires up and gets to 45 psi quick. But until I hit the 2k mark, it’s quite and dead. Maybe I need…

I didnt want to mix up the threads by posting unrelated information so I figured I would start a new one. This thread is for figuring out what works and what you find your truck likes. I did some more datalogging as of late and found that a more aggressive timing curve later in the rpm band, say 2500 + rpm, seems to pull harder up top. Previous I was running tunes that maxed timing at 26*. I took 2 tunes copied them and ran them back to back on the same stretch of road, same conditions. Hello newbie here, I’m having issues with a new Quadzilla Adrenaline v2 iquad it’s got a pretty bad (what I would call) buck at what seems to be around 18% throttle position. When accelerating it’ll hit 17-18% throttle and start jerking no matter what the speed is and seems to be worse on a grade, when easing out of the throttle I get the same results 18-17% throttle a hard starts jerking,I have tried everything I can think of to tune it out and no matter what I change it’s still there. Can a 3rd gen ADR1006 be updated to V2? And if not, someone please help me understand how my "Rail pressure scaling" 0-100% and "Percent of Max injector stretch" 0-100% should be set. I can't find any information on either of those.

Is their anyway to lower the rev limiter further down than 3200rpm? Kinda like another security feature for when/if I loan the truck to someone and don’t want them to be romping on it.

Just bought new quadzilla adrenaline v2 with iquad, installed it on my 99, the adrenaline isnt sensing boost, allways says 0 psi, truck made 35psi on my pillar gage before quad install now hard to hit 10psi. and my factory oil pressure gage stays all the way to the low side as if the truck is off. I have gone through all the wiring and cleaned the map sensor, that didnt work, so i unhooked the quad then unhooked batteries for an hour and still no change, not sure where to go from here. Thanks

Being the Quadzilla is wireless on Bluetooth you can pack off with the mobile device. Like myself, I can fire up the truck which is in the garage below and fire up my cellphone and leave at my desk and monitor the Cummins in Garage. No other tuner can do this.

I am going to order a Quadzilla and would like some input from y’all. Options I see are 4K Adrenaline with Iquadbt for apple or adroid a non 4K model and a non 4K with control pod. What’s the difference between 4K and non 4K ? Android vs apple in reference to your phone preference or desktop? Advantages one way or the other? Anything else I should order when I place the order?
