I'm currently searching through google and the forum for help. Posting because I'm confused as to whether its my PCM or ECM also clueless. Last night I was driving and I parked and shut off my truck. I did switch my tune to one I got from here but used previously without any problems. A few minutes later I started my truck just fine as always and about a second later it shut off. ODO flashes "no bus" / no wait to start light / overhead says "ccd" / gauges don't work / airdog won't turn on , cranks strong but gets NO fuel at ALL / connected scan tool but says it can't connect / also phone seems like phone can't connect to quad adrenaline …

Scored a fuel tank yesterday, and in process of correcting 1/4 tank issues. Is it alright to use stainless metal bolts and a nylox nut to keep basket in position. My corrugated draw straw is the thing only providing tension between bottom of basket and top. I’m extending draw straw, so no longer will draw straw provide spring tension. I'm thinking the basket needs something to keep draw straw sucking near bottom of tank. I don’t know if stainless steel or nylox is OK to use in fuel system... or should I use some type of glue? What is OK to use in fuel system? Thanks

I need a little help. I started my truck the other day and when I went to give it some throttle the rpm jumped rapidly and stops at about 1100- 1200 rpm and won't go any higher. Let off the throttle it idles normal. So I shut the truck off and started it again and everything was back to normal. It has done that several time since then and is getting harder to get the throttle to function normally. I have had to disconnect the batteries on two occasions and restart the truck several time to get it functioning correctly. Would this be indicating a bad apps?

I noticed that my rpm at idle has gone from 850 to just a little over 900. This is a constant thing even when warm.Does this indicate a problem? What's the cause and is there a fix? No codes. Thanks for any help.

Approximately a year ago my lift pump(Raptor)quit working because my ECM was misbehaving(WTS light only working part time). I hot-wired lift pump through a switch as I needed truck. I have since had ECM repaired and all is good, however I would like to know what the folks here would suggest I do with lift pump power. Should I hook it back up to ECM, through a relay of course, or should I use @IBMobile ASD wiring article for lift pump power? I’m kinda apprehensive about hooking to ECM again but that would be simplest. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Hey i am new here i am in the middle of swapping my injectors from 7x.012 to stock injectors since i dont think i need that big of injectors on a stock engine and its been having hard start issues the truck has 205k miles and 1,3,4, and 6 Connector tubes look like this and i havnt seen any pictures of them that look this bad just wondering if this is normal? Good Morning! A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to find a 2001 Dodge 2500 manual 4wd long bed with 62K original miles. I drove it down from Montana to New Mexico, which I had the brake lines replaced pretty much immediately because there was a slight leak. I was driving to work and then all of a sudden I lost power, which caused the truck to stall out in the middle of the road. It turned out to be a bad lift pump, which I replaced with the Titanium Series Fass95 only to find out the Vp44 went with it. The shop I had originally had the truck brought to drained both 10 year old batteries accidentally and for some reason when they recharged them one of the batte…

Hi, I'm new and wanted to say I'm grateful for such knowledge that I have been reading on here. So I have a weird issue I need help with.. I have an 01 with a stage 5 trans and it is out of warranty but still functioning fine. I recently replaced my trans cooler and ever since I have been have a issue with the truck downshifting from 3rd gear to 1st when I come to a stop light or sign. I have the upgraded GM gov pressure solenoid and have replaced it along with the transducer and no change. Changed fluid and filter no change. Pulled my alternator fuse, no change. I have a quick question. I use a header gasket and red RVT on my Dodge wedge 540 to seal the exhaust manifold to header. SO,when I change this old turbo out to my new one should I just replace the old metal gasket with a new one or should I use any RTV to seal it with a gasket? I am leaning not to use the silicone because of the turbo, but guessing?? Thanks, Steve

Anyone have first hand experience and can recommend a good 4" exhaust muffler/resonator for sound deadening? I need to tone down my 4" exhaust sound some and at the same time not restrict flow. I've seen a few models - Aeroturbine, MBRP Quiet Tone Muffler Resonator. I've got an existing muffler which the PO installed but can't tell the brand. In any event its a bit too loud and showing some signs of rust. Any suggestions?

I have just recently got my hands on a 2000 ram 2500 with 24v and 5 speed tranny. I drove the truck for a few days and it threw code p0122 and p0234, had diagnostics ran and replaced the apps. Drove for 1 day with no engine light and then it cam back on with the same codes. Got them cleared, checked voltage on apps and got it to .51 dc. Drove truck again and it done good for a few days then the light came back on with p0122, p0500, and p1693. I’ve checked voltage again on apps and it was .39 and couldn’t get it to set around .51, I’ve checked all wiring and grounds and it all looks good. truck is completely stock as far as I’m concerned beside a cold air intake. It's being a REAL bast*** !! got the starter off, the bolt holding the retaining clip out, and even popped the dipstick tube up. I Can turn it freely.... but the dang o-ring has got a death grip! Does that have a groove it indexes in? or am I facing a dozen years of heat making that oring a permanent part of the block? Guys help, I have just purchased a 24 valve and drove 230 ish miles, next day it just died pulling from dq to a gas station, I added fuel and started truck it ran and idled fine, get going down road make right turn go 300 yards and it dies no idle just dies, well I removed edge ez, eventually rehooking, earlier today it would start and run then surge , eventually just die, now p0122 p1388 cam up, well, I reset everything even messed with apps, well noe it don't just dies again and is throwing the asd no signal code 1389, but I don't know, any help appreciated , thanks, edge is removed bte

Found a replacement fuel tank for 2001 3/4 ton. It came with 3 rocks about 3/4 of inch by 3/4. My first thought was kids? Then again I wonder if the rocks were put in tank to slide around the bottom to keep it clean. Wondering if they were put in on purpose? Your thoughts... have you ever heard of this before?

I'm preparing to check and repair my KDP. I down loaded directions from Geno's Garage. One question Geno's directions did not address was the removal of the Harmonic Balancer and Crank shaft pulley. I believe they are both Keyed and only go on one way. My question is "Do I need a gear puller" to remove them. Information will be appreciated, Thank you.
