I'd like for my Quadzilla to show fuel pressure. Can I tap into one of the three wires I have coming off the sending unit for my ISSPRO fuel gauge? There's an 3 pin plug coming off the sending unit to my gauge and the quad has a corresponding 3 pin plug that matches the ISSPRO sending unit. I wouldn't mind keeping my pillar gauge and having the Iquad showing pressure as well.

  2. Hello all i have two Question's about mytruck (the one in my SIG) First Question what tool do i use to remove the "bolt" to check/change my tranny fluid(6spd) is there a special tool cause the bolt is huge inside lol also Where is the best place for a Boost gauge or where did you place your's mine (Installed before i bought it) is on the intake maniflod not the "Intake horn" just to the right of the grid heater and how accurate would this placement make it for measuring Boost? Good morning everyone, Yesterday I started using 2 stroke oil at fill up. I have a reman vp44 from T-bred with 1000 miles and been reading 2 stroke oil is the way to go for pump longevity. After I filled up I noticed my FP was at 14.5ish lbs compared to the 15lbs it was at before adding the 2 stroke oil. Is this normal? Has anyone else seen this? I have an Airdog 4g lift pump so I'll just increase the pressure tomorrow but thought it was odd my fp would drop. Tim

I have read tid bits about putting 2 stroke oil in diesel fuel. What are the benefits? Lubricity? Fuel mpg? How much do you put in a 34 gallon tank? Is there a special type? Thanks!

  5. Hello everybody this is Randy from Indiana, sorry it took so long to get these results but our labs busy season had started and i had to slip it in when I could. So i tested a Kendall GT-1 two cylce oil bought from Hires auto parts and compared it to our TDR-S product. The results are as follows: I treated the fuel with one once of two-cycle oil per ten gallons of diesel fuel or 700ppm's per gallon. The base fuel had a HFRR of 520um which is ASTM spec The fuel with the two-cycle oil had HFRR of 470um. The fuel treated with the TDR-S had a HFRR of 425umSo the answer to some of your questions is yes the two-cycle oil does lubricate your engines, but if you were …

Everyone says to add 1 oz per gallon of fuel. What is everyone using to measure or store their oil in their truck prior to filling up? I have used 2 stroke for the last 3 or 4 years in my old 12v and now in my 24v. I have always just carried the walmart gallon jug in my toolbox and I used the hose part off of one of these funnels: http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/FTL0/10704/N0027.oap?ck=Search_funnel_N0027_-1_1567 . The hose and valve unscrews off the white funnel part and is the same threads as the gallon jug. I always kinda guess how much oil to pour in depending on how low on fuel I am but have never measure it out. Sometimes the hose funnel doesn't seal well o…

Is there a 200 degree thermostat that I can put in my 2001 24 Valve? Can you post the link to one, or a part number? The region I'm in sees temps averaging between -15 to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Opinions are always welcome!

200℉ Cummins ThermostatI've been experimenting with hotter coolant temperatures and found for most daily drivers this is a good way to go. The added heat actually will improve the MPG number just slightly and reduce EGT's slightly. Gates - 34212 - 200℉This is direct replacement number. It will fit into your 1998.5 to 2002 Dodge Ram Cummins 5.9L engine without any modifications. ResultsSummer operation floats right around 204 to 210℉ coolant temperatures. With the tuning I've done on Quadzilla the engine oil temperature will stay 30 to 35℉ cooler than coolant. This stays the same for even wintertime operations with no issues so far in one year of operation even towing. In …

  13. I’ve been trying to figure this out for a couple days now. I’m having troubles with truck running when pcm is plugged in. If I unplug C1 It will start. If I unplug C3 it will start but say I have C1 plugged in and plug C3 in kills it immediately. Same if it’s other way around. Could this be due to security? Please help

Hello everyone, New to the forum here, have a 2000 Dodge 24 valve. I’m a mechanic by trade, bought the the truck off one of our customers. He had this issue towards the end of his ownership, truck would surge during idle and the odd time would throw APPS code but he could still drive it. The trucks had a couple different APPS sensors, OEM and aftermarket. When I bought the truck last summer I did a ton of upgrades/maintenance, starter, alternator, 2 new batteries, FASS and sump, fuel pressure gauge and a bunch of other things non related to the problem. I did all the APPS testing between sensor and ECM and everything checked out. After doin…

  17. Over the last few weeks, my truck has been showing an engine check light. The light comes on only when the truck has been running for 1/2 hour or so. I am only using the truck for short distances while driving to and from mowing jobs. After completing a lawn, I will attempt to start the truck to head to the next job, and it will NOT START. If I wait for 20 more minutes or so and try again, it will now start. A mechanic came over and placed a scan tool to the computer input and the scan tool was not able to read any data!! If anyone has any ideas of where to begin on a diagnosis I would appreciate it. Note: After the truck sits overnight, the next day the truck will start…
