2nd Generation Dodge Non-Powertrain

I dont roll my passneger side window anymore since everytime I do it tilts back in the track and almost jams whwn trying to put it back up, and the fear that I have read that it could fall off the regulator and drop in the door, with my luck it would shatter. Searching around it seems that when this happens the regulator gets replaced, since the little bushings cant be replaced.anyone have this issue? Not looking forward to the dealer. Might give LMC a try.

Alright guys I need a little help here. So my new to me 2001 3500 QCLB has had fairly week power steering since I bought it a few weeks ago. After reading up on some forums I decided to take out the factory power steering screen and clean it up. Everything went well until I was bleeding the system after. I had the front end off the ground with the truck off and was turning lock to lock to push air out of the lines. After about 15 times turning the wheel back and forth I decided to start the truck. So I bought an 02 24v knowing it needed some work and drove 40 miles home, then realized it needed a new map sensor because it was in limp mode so replaced the sensor and everything was running fine. The drivers side fender was heavily rusted out and needed replaced, so took the old fender off and took about a month before we could find another fender. Went to install new fender and reattached everything including grounds, went to hook battery's up and the truck went into start mode without the key in the ignition and actually tried to start. Any ideas on what this could be?

Was wondering if any of you have ever put the full electric hvac system in a second gen? I have the system that uses a cable to adjust the temp, and besides that door being broken (held together with electric tape), something happened to the cable, and now I have to pull my glove box door out and push the little arm over for heat. It will flop back to cold every time I turn the truck off. Also, I know all my vacuum pots are working correctly, but it doesn't blow very good. I'm sick of fighting with it, I've already had it out once and resealed it, and replaced all the rotten foam with door foam (best I could find), and replaced both the heater core and the ac conden…

Wife in wheel chair and doing a few measurements on our 2 wheel drive I think I can remove back seat and front seat on her side and might be able to get her in by using short alum loading ramp from ground to door bottom plate then I think I might have enough room. Maybe their was a reason for quad doors without a center post? Anybody seen or heard of this? Truck has been sitting 2 years...itching to drive it again. Mot was due last october but seeing as weather can be grim around that time of year I decided to sorn it ( statutory off road notification) which notifies Gov, and police its off the road so you don't have to tax or mot it. 1st start up of the morning and no tach. 4-5 min. warm up and it starts working again. Do I have a problem in the making?

I my drive my truck once a week or so, it's sat for over a week. Wife needed the car so I checked the oil, found a family of mice on the engine. Killed three of them, rest go away. The light for the cruise never came on when I pushed the button and I tried a number of times when driving. Even thought maybe the light was burned out, but shrill no go. Removed the cruise switches last night and with the key on there is no power to any of the wires. Checked the fuses in the cab and under the hood, all fuses are good. Never did find out whic fuse the cruise gets its power from. The only thing I can think of is the mice chewed of a wire, but I haven't found any.

While browsing dash cores on ebay, I have noticed that some dash cores only have the cigarette lighter and not the power port and lighter. The descriptions have stated they are not interchangeable. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

When I turn on my heater I think I can smell bit of antifreeze. I'm thinking I need to get into looking at replacing the core. Is there any way I can tell if the core is bad without taking out the dash and messing with the A.C. ?? Have any of you fellas replaced one and how much of a pain is it to do..Luke

my dad and I bought a 7x12 enclosed trailer for Harleys towing, moving stuffs, and else what my family and I need to use on our trailer... my dad and I had noticed that our trailer don't have stop feeling when apply the brake. the trailer has electric brake system and the trailer shop where we did bought from, they did tested and it is worked. I has aftermarket electric brake controller (it was used as RV towing business by previous owner).. it do work as turn signal and brake lights. it has ground and power to 7 pins connectors but problem is I has the 7 pins connector tester and when my dad push the button on controller, the tester show either no or very little dim... …

01 ram 3500 turn lights on engine quits. remove park light fuse, no problem. when turn on park lights trailer relay energises. remove relay truck no start. heater fan not working. hit panic button on fob and horn + heater fan cycle. cleaned all grounds. Pretty sure maybe alarm is causing issues but cannot have engine run and lights on at same time?

Last week i installed a reman steering gearbox from Napa. Put the new box on and installed a steering brace with it. Now I am having a issue truck feels real sloppy when Turing right but when Turing left everything feels tight and steering wheel will return to center when I let go but not when turning right.

hello every one i just purchesed a 94 dodge cummins with a 5 speed manual i've owned it for 10 day now and a few issues have come too my atention the big one is low speed engine shutter it feels like the engine is starving for fuel when your just crusin (4 or 5 gear 40 to 50 mph) and when i push the clutch to shift down the rpms start to spike or tac out and then shuts down as soon as it dose i can start it right back up again and some time be fine or it will do this severl times any ideas on this one

I need to buy a better volt meter because my alternator is going out and I want t measure AC voltage on the replacement before leaving the store. I don't want to spend the money on a Fluke and am looking at an innova 3340. Will this work?

I was checking to see why my block heater stopped working and found that the plug had burned off. It looks like it got moisture in it and corroded and caused it to arc. Something you may want to check once and a while. If it was kept clean it would probably still work. Picking up a new one from Napa today.

I changed my rotors and hubs yesterday; I was metal on metal on the right. Anyway, it took me most of the day, and by the time I got to the driver's side, I forgot to take out the hub bolts and proceeded to pull the hub/rotor assembly off, and pulled the bearing apart. Good thing I had a new bearing to stick on there anyway.Finished it up this afternoon, and it's nice not hearing that scraping sound anymore and no more pulsating stops coming from warped rotors.

Hi everyone, I recently picked up a new to me 2001 ram 2500. The truck is a 2001 non sport 2500 qclb 4x4 auto. I bought the truck a few weeks ago seeing as it was pretty well maintained with very minimal rust. This is the only electrical problem on the truck. The right front parking lamp does not work with the lights on causing the right blinker to blink fast and cluster has the right signal illuminated with lights on. Its not the bulb or socket. I noticed when i opened the hood when the underhood light comes on so does the right front parking lamp. How can this happen?

hello, I just bought my first dodge. 02 slt Laramie, 24v, bone stock. I want to put an aftermarket stereo in it so I ordered the factory plugs, dash kit, speaker box for the back seat, etc. I went and bought a stereo from the local Walmart and went to install it. Using the factory wiring diagram on the top of the original stereo, I wired it up and im not getting any sound out of the speakers. It turns on and all that stuff but I can figure out why it won't work. My question is, on top of the two factory plugs and the ground wire, there is another set of wires the plug into the factory stereo that are pink and white with a small white connector. What is this a…
