I've got a blower unit on my wood stove. The control box for fan speed has lost its variability. I can only have it on high speed otherwise it barely blows at any other speed. I've determined that its the rheostat. I've called a couple dealers and the genuine oem replacement offered by the manufacturer is over 150 dollars. Which is totally ridiculous. I dunno where i can source an exact replacement of the unit as i figured it has to just be some Chinese build unit. Is it possible to fix the existing one? Antoine know a thing or two about these?

So I was out cutting my lawn and along the line where the grass meets the woods I saw what I thought to be a morel mushroom. So I stopped and went to look next thing you know I'm picking mushrooms in my woods. I stumbled across a decent size cache of morels. Ended up with a paper grocery bag full. If you've never had these before ohhh boy are you missing out. They are only around a short period just a few weeks around here and are pretty rare to find. Very sought after and expensive at farmers markets. I sautéed some up just a bit ago in olive oil and minced garlic. Delish?

I've got lucky and found a wonderful woman. We've met about a month ago on a dating site. What is so fascinating about this get together is that I did something most don't ever do on a dating site. I listed all the thing I wanted and didn't want in a woman. Which filtered off a lot of people because of my requirements. Then comes Donna that fits my requirements completely. She had to find out more about me. The first date was to meet in Riggins, Idaho and she enjoyed the first meet. She asked me to come down to her place and have dinner with her. Then next weekend we did a camp out on the Salmon River which we both enjoyed the time together. Then this weekend we did a rep…

https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1550606851637499&id=105924042772461 We've had numerous derailments since things have thawed out. Multiple mudslides in the region and flooding everywhere. Just another day, lol... I don't believe this derailment was caused by soft ground.

My 5ther is just now 4 years old from time of purchase. Here is what i get to deal with... Don't buy a keystone rv! Notice the shoddy caulk seam. That is not going to seal anything. Regardless, I'm putting money on it I'm once again going to end up being that guy that slips right through the crack and won't have any coverage despite my extended warranty. I was going through the trailer prepping it so i could take it to a place to sell it on consignment. Noticed the slide was not the same as before. Well lo and behold, there was more to this sponge than met the eye. Good news is, if someone wants more than I'm willing to pay, there see…

I know there are a few of you on here that live the country or construction life. I'm having a hard time deciding on what to do. I'm adamant about a garden this year. But whats stopping me is having adequate fencing to keep the deer out. I don't exactly want to spend much money on fencing to make this happen as my dollars are going out of the pocket at every angle. So I'm inquiring to great minds, to see if there is truly a solution to this. I have MANY, many lodgepole pine logs that I have on the property. They are the PERFECT size for posts, but I cannot decide on what to do to preserve them. I do realize that they can be a poor choice in wood. They are used…

  13. Idea's on what this was for? Curious if a local dealer could lookup my VIN and find out what was done. I'm currently searching the TSB's on http://dodgeram.info/ Number on the bottom left is the Mopar part number for the label itself. This is a California truck.

OK if anyone has been following the VW emissions thread you know wifes car is getting bought back so the wife wants an SUV. Looking for recommendations as we have never owned one. She has a few things she would like. 1 - AWD 2 - heated leather 3 - moon roof or sun roof. 4 - she wants it to have a bit of pep to it yet get 25+ mpg I just lol at that one. 5 - 30k max price Other than drive by on the lots we eliminated the VW Tiguan as the best milage is 23 on the spec sheets and is also the smallest and quite ugly. We both like the looks and mileage of the Nissan Rogue, the reviews are pretty good but they all say it is a…

Just pulled into the drive way from a week at work. The wife calls me right when I pull of the interstate. Wants to know when I am getting home. Tell her I am 10 minutes away. Lets me know my 2 grand daughters are here and a couple of other pleasantries and the says "WE NEED TO TALK". I am going in now. Keep me in your thoughts and I hope I dont need any prayers.

Thought you might like this. It's just sweet!! MM When I was a young boy, my father had one of the first telephones in our neighborhood. I remember the polished, old case fastened to the wall. I was too little to reach the telephone, but used to listen with fascination when my mother talked to it. Then I discovered that somewhere inside the wonderful device lived an amazing person. Her name was "Information Please" and there was nothing she did not know. Information Please could supply anyone's number and the correct time. My personal experience with the genie-in-a-bottle came one day while my mother was visiting a neighbor. Amusing myself at the to…

  20. Affected VW products reportedly are programed to respond to emmisions testing with different settings than actual road use which are above the emmisions limits. Kind of like turning off a chip. VW has ordered a stop sales order until a fix is found... units on the road are still legal to drive, for now.
