Pffffft.....  Who needs one of those fancy tools.  Assembly is so easy, especially when you can easily stink up the house warming up a can of engine oil on the kitchen stove and then simply dunking the end of the hose for a few minutes.  You'll only pop a few eye blood vessels and hopefully not blow though your shorts as you soil yourself trying to shove the two pieces together with all the strength you can muster.....generally resulting in a small gap between hose and fitting as you near the end, followed by some harsh language.

Maybe I do need one.

Nice tool, a must have if you have extra cash.

Here is another tool to have, http://www.handsontools.com/Mastercool-71475-Universal-Hydraulic-Flaring-Tool-Set_p_2039.html

Much cheaper on ebay, this one has pictures of different flares.

My daily driver has bad brake and fuel lines discovered after I changed rusty leaky fuel tank. So instead of trying to piece things together with random fittings I bought 2 coils off line 3/16 and 5/16 I'll be able to make flare and quick-connect fittings all out of one line without  splices. Plus I was planning on redoing the brake lines on my truck hope this thing works as advertised. I actually bought a flaring tool before that was Calvan. Sold it to a friend.    https://www.walmart.com/ip/Cal-Van-Tools-165-In-Line-Flaring-Tool-For-3-16-To-3-8-4.75MM-To-8MM-Makes-Single-Double-Or-Bubble-Flares-Case/49773827?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=1397&adid=22222222228037422383&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=85501913930&wl4=pla-193583642690&wl5=9018697&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=112550031&wl11=online&wl12=49773827&wl13=&veh=sem      and it did good double flares, butt bubble flares little bit ugly. And it wasn't able to do Quick Connect fittings. You can find better deals im sure. Though I'd share.

Heck, I do it the easy way. I just cut my hose to length put the fitting on the floor. Now using my body mass just push the hose right on the fitting without even breaking a sweat.

So you're saying you have a lot of mass? too much ?

No biggy... I'll walk into it a second time. Best part is, I still don't have to buy no stinkin' tool to put Parker Push Lock fittings on... Haters will continue to hate...

In fairness thats how I put mine together too. They are pretty massive to push together for something so small. I dont think you can hang around very long without walking into the mine. Reminds me of a screaming beaver!!!!!

Hey hey be careful with the head and what you do behind my sofa.
