this 2001 5.9l 6 speed with van aaken box and 4 inch exhaust and 210,000 miles that i bought from a guy in my hot rod club

cost me $8500

i replaced the apps and throttle cable right away

it runs great

was this a fair deal?

    it took me 2 years and every extra dime of a $10 an hour job to build it.

    i aint plannin on selling any time soon. ;)

    i just drive it around.

    for fuel economy it has a 2 bbl 500cfm holley on a stock 302

    and 3.00 rear gear

    i get low 20's mpg in the city

    i wish i had a AOD c6 but maybe someday......

    Nice deal.   $8500 bucks up here in Canada buys you a rusty 2nd Gen 12v.  We envy the Southern USA vehicles you guys can pick up.

    I got my 97 Non-Rusty 12v for less than half of that back in Oct. :thumb1:  :tongue:  :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

    Very nice truck by the way!!!! :thumb1:  :thumb1:  And, I think you got a great price!!  2001 in that nice of shape are going for 10,000 or more down here in Florida..
