  4. Remember I'm 143% of efficiency on Beast in a older post of mine I posted the brake specific fuel consumption. I'll dig on this a bit later. I'm currently rebuilding my local server here at home.
  5. Sorry for the lag time... This can be done. Like my setup with my injectors the flow rate is 143% of normal for Diesel Auto Power 7 x 0.10 popped at 320 bar. This has to the factored in. The horsepower is going to my flywheel horsepower but calculated based on the torque calculation.
  6. Another way is the lift pump pressure constant or hang low and jump high? If the low and high problem that is a air bubble being pushed up the line to the injection pump. Currently fighting the same issue on my 2006 Cummins with long crank times but 3rd Gen has a clue with the grid heater light coming on and chiming either 5 or 10 times showing fuel rail issues. 2nd Gen's just any long cranking is loss of prime on the fuel system.
  7. No. Because in fooler mode the resistance is fixed to a particular value its like you have internal resistance differences or there is a malfunction some how. OFF - All normal values of IAT and ECT sensors. No fooling done. MPG - IAT sensor is disconnected and forced a value of 143℉. 6 CYL - IAT sensor is disconnected and forced a value of 26℉ and the ECT sensor is disconnected and forced a value 123℉ 3 CYL - IAT sensor is disconnected and forced a value of 13℉. If these values cannot be obtained then high idle system will not work properly. The key notes the IAT is the trigger to start the high idle and the ECT can prolong the high idle only if the mode holds it below shut off. Hence why the 6 CYL can be used for jump starting because the coolant never reaches the cutoff point. If you wish, give me a call at (208) 315-1470 - 9am to 5pm MST.   8. So, with your loss of prime, you will have to look at possibly replacing the injector crossover tube. The other thing is did you torque the injectors first or the crossover tubes first? As for the tach. You will need to flash the ECM and PCM with the correct software to match and VIN numbers have to match too. There is dozens of versions of software which could be your problem being no VIN numbers match between the PCM and ECM. Remember the PCM is the primary controller so it can disable communication with the ECM because of software errors.
  9. I reused that grey connector from the ECM ground as my additional ground to the battery on the driver side. Looks pretty factory except for the ring terminal on the driver-side battery.
  10. I've got a sheet of metal here I can cut a full width chunk and tack weld the piece in place. Then straighten all the remaining edges and weld them down to the sheet metal. Now like get a gallon of Hurculiner and cover the host of sin on the bed bottom.

  12. Additionally, I would take the truck out and drive it a few miles to put a good charge on the batteries after starting cold. This will stabilize the test and prevent the grid heaters from stealing power and fouling the measurement. Just after your drive leave the engine run and test now. This should be a stable test then.
  13. P0606 is a ECM death code. Try resetting but I'm pretty sure it will return. @Auto Computer Specialist should be able to fix it up for you.
  14. Made the trip out to meet my guy on the bed trade I'm doing. I'm trading the super heavy winch bumper and the steel flatbed with toolboxes. Here is the bed I'll get. Yeah it's rough but workable. Now to get my injector back in Thor so i can roll it out of the shop.
  15. Still something wrong. Wrong values for 3 cyl and 6 cyl is half right with 123°F coolant. @Quadzilla Power
  16. Go back and check. 6 cyl should show 26°F IAT and 123°F ECT 3 cyl should show 13°F IAT and normal coolant display. Operation Turn switch to setting you wish. Start the engine. Then after high idle starts in 2 to 3 minutes you may turn it off again and high idle will continue till 170°F. NOTE: To slow of switch change could trigger only 3 cyl mode. If so turn the engine off and wait 10 seconds and restart to clear the previous 3 cylinder mode.
  17. Correct. NV4500 with 5th gear at 0.75:1 ratio. 245/75 R16 tires which are 30.5 inches. Axle gear set 3.55:1.

  19. Project Thor continues... Mark found me a set of bumpers, 8 foot bed, and tailgate and swapping the flat bed and winch bumper. I'll post up photos what we see when I get to Jordan Valley, OR.
  20. I'm at 3.69 final ratio. 245/75 R16 tires vs. 265/75 R16 tires (stock). But I'm 3.55 geared axles. At 82 MPH turning exactly 2,500 RPM. Still getting upwards of 20 MPG. High RPM is not a issue and is way more efficient than 3.55 gears on 31.6" tires (265/75 R16) and use a 245/75 R16 which is 30.5" inch tires. Beast can fry the tires in every gear but 5th gear.
  21. Personally i dont believe so. First thing i did was turned of all TV. Second of i turned all American Social Media and jump on Tiktok and watch watch live congressional videos that are live. No i don't want 3 letter media news because it's all a lie. Now as for my travels on Tiktok the world is going around just fine. Like one gent reported back about Rednote social media and informed that in China they only pay 0.94 cent per pound for corn. Yup our Govt screwed us. As for the end times I've heard of this like 4 times since I've been in Idaho. Everytime something bad happen everyone claims it's the end times. I'm still here. So there is no end.
  22. You are going to need an updated mainshaft and 5th gear. Also take note the torque of that nut is very high like 300 foot pounds. I'm pretty sure @Doubletrouble would know. Please do not just use a chisel and hammer to tighten the nut. It will fail again. Do not weld the nut either this will weaken the mainshaft.
  23. I've done a trip from Ontario, OR to New Meadows ID was 125 mile trip in 4th gear limited to 45 MPH. I would suggesting fixing the transmission or haul it on a trailer there.
