  1. Thats exactly what I did. Nylon nuts and steel washers from local hardware store. I forget the size, just bring the 1 nut they gave you to the store. They're all the same size IIRC
  2. Did you disconnect your tie rod so you can swivel the knuckle back and forth for the best angle to hit? The first time I removed mine I had a puller and used a hammer, joint effort.
  3. Mine were tight when I pulled them with 225k on the clock, I assume they were originals. I am still hunting a driveline vibration...
  4. Torque converter stall speed will play role in turbo spooling off the line. My low stall converter, super b and 100 hp sticks are laggy off the line but once the turbo starts to light around 1500 rpm, truck runs clean and powerful. Larger wheels on both sides of the turbo will be harder to spool off the line. Like ME said, factor in 35s and 3.55 gears, too big of a turbo will be a lag pig.
  5. If you are replacing the unit bearings/hubs, you can use a hub puller and a hammer. The puller may actually break the unit bearing in half. The best way, back the 4 bearing bolts out about 1/4", use a socket and extension on the bolts and beat with hammer, or if it's rusted, use a socket and extension, have someone turn the steering wheel and the socket extension will hit the axle and pushing the bearing out.
  6. Something like 5.5"-6". Oops didn't see Dripleys reply
  7. HX35 swap. You can get a used one for $300 or less. Better top end and keeps things cooler. Direct swap. I ran a WH1C(old HX35) with 100hp injectors and edge comp with no heat issues. On the other hand, I ran 60hp injectors and edge EZ with HY35 and things got toasty. I'm expecting a detailed write up with pictures for this manual conversion
  8. 4.5" backspacing, 0 offset
  9. They can be replaced just like the "Y" steering
  10. You have a leveling kit correct? On some stock height trucks you run out of adjusting room on the drag link because the linkage is longer than 2nd gens and the tie road and drag link touch in the adjusting sleeve. I think mine are 1 turn away from touching, due to plow prep coils.
  11. For your blue 2002? Yes. You need a 4th gen stabilizer. I got one for a 2010 from NAPA. Rockauto also has the assembly. MOPAR 52122362AL Rod & Link Kit Info $291.79
  12. late model 2001. I have no idea if I have CAD. Long skinny axle shaft on the driver's side, short thick axle shaft on the passenger side
  13. Why do I have to live completely across the US from Dynamic in Massachusetts...it would be nice to have someone I could completely trust work on my tranny
  14. I seem to remember reading about injectors as well for this issue
  15. Will I do any damage to my truck if I take out the front driveshaft and drive, obviously no 4x4? I have to check it this weekend for play, but I can afford to have the shaft rebuilt/yoke replaced right now. Reasoning behind this is a front end vibration at speeds. I'm having some new u joints pressed in today for both axle shafts but both u joints seem tight. Front end is new, new wheel bearings last year, ball joints are tight. Guy at the drivetrain shop said the yoke is probably shot...
  16. If it makes you feel any better, I just averaged 17.0 mpg, hand calculated, lots of city/in town driving, 100hp injectors and 285/75r16s(33s). So if the speedo was corrected the average is probably more. I can average 20+ mpg highway only.
  17. Need different linkage from 4x4 shifter to transfer case?
  18. Go with DAP. Chris hasn't gotten back to me about my current injectors, via email or phone. My new injectors just came today from DAP.
  19. Welcome!
  20. Just ordered some 7x.009 (100hp) SACs...I'll know this weekend whether injectors are the issue. Might have some injectors up for sale that need to be rebuilt
  21. Could a dribbling/leaking injector cause this?
  22. Had this issue on my 3rd gen. ABS module would randomly go off and pulse. Ended up using a flathead screw driver and cleaning the grease of the wheel one tooth at a time. It worked.
  23. Yes, not as pronounced, but yes. Never had this issue with the 60s. I ran the 100s with a WH1C(HX35) turbo and the super b and same scenario with both.
