The question needs to be asked!
What direction are we wanting to head with the theme of this site now since both Toyota and Nissan will have the same 5.0 L V-8 Cummins engine in them when Toyota releases their new 2016 Tundras.? The Toyota boys are taking the engine and increasing the power and fuel mileage over what Nissan has from what I have read. Are we going to welcome the newest Cummins owners or do we stick with the Dodge Cummins? I have seen no Dodge or Jeep eco diesel boys here yet either.

Radiator hose leak
Decades ago the rubber sealed against cast or steel housings now they are all aluminum which seems to enhance the issue a bit more seems like especially with lesser quality hose. I think some rubber compounds or hoses have more silicone than some other hose brands. I think some of the straight rubber hoses tend to leaks more with age and being over tightened which is why OEMs use constant torque spring clamps instead of screw clamps.

Radiator hose leak
Oem hose or aftermarket? I like the OEM spring clamps versus the worm clamps which are usually over tightened and distort the hose causing it to loosen and leak, once they leak they never seem to seal up again.

The 10% thing was just for me personally never intended it to be a broad all incompassing statement.

I need to make a correction to a couple of my previous posts, My very inacurate S&W body guard is a .38 special p+ not a 357.

EPA orders VW recall on Not So Clean Diesels
I need not worry about this, mine is all taken care of above and beyond what even VW has admitted to . Wife's 2014 TDI Jetta is a little more stinky now but dang the extra power and extra 5-10 mpg is well worth the smell.

Cooper coil on exhaust manifold
Right wrong or otherwise without scientific data I am a 10% variance kinda guy with things like this guy. If the drive pressure got to more than 10% more than boost I would be looking to improve on things. There are also a very long list of variables that can affect this and I would be watching the egts along with it, if egts are still safe @ the 10% over I would feel safe going higher.

May be different since you are a resident of the state not sure, when I took the Utah class it was a 4 hour class IIRC with practical hand on with dummy guns and then real life scenario simulator exercises. Been almost 5 years but do not recall a written test with it can't remember.

2007 5.9 Using Oil - Valve Seals Bad?
K&N filters or other lesser quality filters will cause this as well, buddy of mine dusted an engine on an 03 due to a junky AEM intake and then lack of cleaning didn't help either.

Here in ND one can only open carry on private property be it your own or someone else's with permission and while in the field actively hunting or if one is allowed to open carry for job duties like LEO or other law enforcement or government agency that is allowed to. Law states every effort must be made to conceal to ones best ability, meaning it has to be mostly covered at all times within reason.

Texas A&M Study Calls Obama the 5th Best President in American History . Excellent research by a fine institution. OBAMA RATED 5th BEST PRESIDENT IN OUR HISTORY From a total of 44 U.S. Presidents, Obama has been rated as the 5th best, according to a study completed at Texas A&M University. The Public Relations Office at A&M released this statement: "After almost 6 years in office, American academics have rated President Obama the 5th Best President in American History". These are the results according to Texas A&M: 1. Lincoln and Reagan tied for first place 2. Seventeen Presidents tied for second place 3. Twenty-three other Presidents tied for third place 4. Jimmy Carter came in fourth, and... 5. Obama was fifth.

Cooper coil on exhaust manifold
That is for a drive pressure gauge to measure exhaust pressure basically, one needs the copper coil to dissipate some of the heat before it turns into the plastic pressure hose, mos generally use a boost gauge to measure exh drive pressure, in a perfect world drive pressure should be as close to or less than 1:1 but with different turbo designs and restrictive exhaust systems the drive pressure is generally higher especially if one adds more fuel via a comp box injectors ect.

I know what you meant but that was not necessary not to mention a good way to warp that thing to not run true and continue with issues. There should be no reason for it to come loose unless someone previously screwed it up installing it, There are better options like Loctite retaining compound that will hold it good as well if one was worried about it coming loose.

Stick to what you have been using, can't go wrong there if you are running their 15w40 heavy duty and marine oil.

Maybe the 380 is better than my .38 special p+ for accuracy, mine is horrible. Anything past 25 feet I would be more accurate and dangerous if I just threw the gun at an attacker. It is our night stand gun.

I have a 357 S&W body guard and I hate it. most inaccurate gun I have ever shot. @25 ft at the range just being on paper is the best one can expect. My personal favorite I go everywhere with is my stainless 357 S&W 686 plus 7 shot revolver with 4 inch barrel, very accurate. I like it so much I actually have 2 of them, my twins. Just got my Utah ccw permit renewal in the mail yesterday but waiting on my ND ccw class 2 permit to show, wife and I just did the testing for it a couple weeks ago and need one from my state of residence to renew the Utah one so now I wait. I need to test for the ND class 1 test now as it is now has better reciprocity than the Utah permit nation wide due to testing standards, a lot of states require an actual shooting proficiency test and Utah is just a simulator training test. Minnesota dropped Utah and picked up ND this past legislative session for their reciprocity standards due to this now, they also dropped a lot of states because they require one to be 21 years old instead of 18 like most other states. Minnesota is no better than California in many ways and getting consistently worse every year. Dam Liberals, its sad because state wide they are a very conservative state over run by immigrants and the biggest population in Minneapolis / st paul are libs and they run the whole state although they have a lot of greenies over running the state as well now too, I think their green agenda is not far behind cali.

Wife has a new 2014 2.0 CR jetta with a 6 spd now, I have done tons of reading on the high pressure fuel pump issue and there were some failures early on, they are very reliable overall and the failure rate is extremely low versus other vehicle mfg issues and the later ones seem to have almost a zero failure rate from following several VW tdi sites. There are 2 micron add on filter kits and return line filter kits that one can add to prevent total system contamination if one were to fail.- Friday Funny.
These are what I deal with daily at the coal mine I work at.- Nv4500
The $500+- it will cost to fix will result in a better selling price otherwise selling it as is you will get a lot less for it than it is worth versus the small amount you will spend on this minor repair. - Nv4500
