100 watt bumper mounted driving lights
The new LEDS we are putting on are way brighter than the aircraft landing light halogens that we have been running for years, operators of other equipment in the area are complaining of them being too bright as well as operators of the equp with the lights on it saying they are so bright that it hurts their eyes so we are going to amber or different colors which is what most LED mfgs are doing because they are becoming so bright to make it easier on the eyes.

Gasket
Dead center of the top of the hump of the rear section of the outlet just before the turbo to manifold joint.

Gasket
I wouldn't and have not ever removed a turbo when drilling and tapping in a probe. If anything does fall in it is so small it will puff through the turbo into the exhaust long before it starts to spin. I just set a magnet tip next to the hole while I am drilling and tapping to pull the cuttings away as I am doing it and have never had an issue.

Most I Can Get Out Of My Stock Turbo
100 hp injectors with a BD super B is going to be a hot combo, I ran the Super B with 90 hp BD injectors and it would run the limit pretty steady when towing, definitely do not go any bigger than 90-100 hp injectors with a super b, you will be driving by the pyro with your foot if you do from experience on my 02 auto that had BD single disc converter and BD VB and BD torque lock. Fass will be fine and if you keep your boost at or below 40 psi no studs are needed either. I ran my 02 with 155hp BD injectors with an II silver 62 at 560 hp for about 90+ k miles and sold it with a bit over 150K and it still had the original OEM head gasket and head bolts undisturbed and my gate was set at 40 psi but I saw 42 on the gauge many times when racing or power pulling depending on the conditions.

100 watt bumper mounted driving lights
It becomes a whole different world when you are driving on a bed of coal in a pit in the dead of night, there are no amount of halogens that will compare to the quality of light output the new LEDS have, coal absorbs light and LEDS have the ability to put out a quality of light that works far better than halogens in these conditions but it is hard to describe unless you experience it. Not to mention the amount of lights that are required on the large equipment would require a gen set to run them all versus the low power needs of LEDS. One needs to figure in our environment of having a couple hundred pieces of equipment to maintain as well that halogens are pretty high maintenance items and down time to troubleshoot bulbs wiring burned up connectors and labor expenses and tons of alternators going bad sooner from the high amperage draws the need for excellent grounds to help lessen current draws ect the list goes on and on against halogens when you look at it from my standpoint of having 40 dollar and hour mechanics replacing bulbs versus doing more technical jobs. All I need to say right here in the video below, we run these on our mine equipment and have yet to see one die which is unheard of, in over 2 years of using them. We are experimenting with ABL and Nordic lights as well but they are a bit higher in price than Rigid but cater to the mining industry needs. http://www.rigidindustries.com/galleries/photo-video-galleries#video-tab

Quiet free flowing exhaust
On my 2010 Hemi earlier this year a guy backed into me and damaged my rear exhaust pipe and kinked it to the point I had to take it off behind the muffler, I have the single exhaust on mine and the resonator is the last thing in line in fact there is only about 18" of tail pipe past it, It has dual cats and pipes going into the factory muffler then out as a single so I ran without the resonator and tail pipe for about 2 months trying to decide whay I was going to do and that thing was obnoxious loud in the cab without the resonator I decided to go back with the stock tail pipe and resonator, life is much more peacefull now, I couldn't believe how much it quiets the exhaust down and especially as far back as it is. On extended cab diesels I am a firm believer in the 36" FTE resonator hands down run it alone as far forward as possible and if quieter tail pipe is wanted then it is easy as pie to put a muffler behind it, worked wonders on my 02 and I have been in several other cummins rigs before and after the FTE resonators and it is amazing how much quieter it is in the cab with no drone and the long ones help quiet the exhaust a bit too and are zero restrictive.

2002 Cummins Fuel In Engine Oil
What struck me as a strong culprit from your last post was you said you "Greased" the O-rings up good. A small amount of engine oil just enough to make them moist is all that's needed, too much grease in an enclosed spot can and will cause issues you are seeing too.

2014 Deep Freeze
Hey Yabba............Is the piece of rope through the grill holding the hood shut or is it holding the bumper on??????????

2002 Cummins Fuel In Engine Oil
Could be a combo issue, bad seat and o-ring. Brain fart there but hey it is totally possible. This is what happens when I stay up too late after having to get up at 4am for work..

Anybody From Minnesota?

Anybody From Minnesota?
There are a couple guys here from Minn. one has a Napa sign for an avatar IIRC but can't remember their user names right off, kind of hit and miss members.

2002 Cummins Fuel In Engine Oil
What he said^^^^^ plus Just an FYI if you didn't know but most dyes require a black light to see the source of the leak, look for the glow. Could be a bad crossover tube where it seats against the injector body too.

2014 Deep Freeze
The last mine I worked at kept the ambulance, rescue truck and fire truck plugged in year round even at 95*f, hit the key and mash the throttle and not worry about a cold engine as much.

W&f, Check Your Water!
This time of year we have very hard water, especially with these cold temps, the water is actually "Fracking" itself.............. Come summer time we have soft water again.. We have been having "Frost quakes" every winter when it gets this cold. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2534166/Canada-cold-experiencing-frost-quakes.html

W&f, Check Your Water!
I can't speak for other areas of the country where I know oil and gas extraction takes place fairly shallow like within a few hundred feet of the surface where well water aquafers are. As for here in North Dakota the fracking is happening at around 2 miles deep about 10K feet and many layers of rock below typical well water sources not to mention the wells are cased and sealed something CSM can chime in on more than me as this is his expertise.

Hard/ No Start Problem
Sounds like a Battery issue to me, If the batteries were good it should turn over for a while even if it is that cold and plugged in. If it was a starter issue it would turn over really slow for a longer period of time. Try to unhook the negative on both batts when you park at night just as a simple check for parasitic draws if you know they are charged up good.

How About This For Doing A Swap?!
Yep diff gears. If you pull hard in 5th or 6th you can overheat a manual tranny easier than an auto tranny, believe me I have seen this many times working at a gear shop and installed many tranny temp gauges in manuals and had owners come back wide eyed at how hot they get. I have seen multiple input shafts literally melted off and or welded solid to the bearing and spin in the case ruining the entire tranny, I have seen the input gears with the teeth melted off as well as the OD gears.

Hard/ No Start Problem
I can have mine plugged in inside my garage and the grids cycle for a second or 2 depending on how cold it is but if it sits outside plugged in same conditions with wind blowing they will come on like a normal cold start with a longer cycle interval. Double check the batteries, if they test good then as posted above do an amp draw test on the starter and battery cables for corrosion migrating inside the insulation. You stated batteries were to low to turn it over..............what was the voltage and what does it do when trying to start it specifically, just click, or clunk like as in starter drive engages but engine doesn't turn over or does it turn over but just really slow? Things like this really help in narrowing it down.

San Francisco Vs. Green Bay
This is how ALL pro games should be played, there should be a ban on domes and astro turf, its too bad Green Bays has a heated field though, for the money they make they should have to "earn" a small fraction of it some how. Purely discusting what pro sports athletes make now days and they are all cry babies on top of it. I quit watching the NFL after going to a game in person and realizing that they just stand around on the field and rest up whenever there is a commercial on tv and now with their partnership with the DHS treating all fans as terrorists at the gates just like the airport and their antigun propaganda they are spewing now not to mention with as profitable as they are a lot of teams/owners have tax exempt status.

North Dakota Domination!
It is amazing though at the # of locals from Minn / ND on the starting teams, they do recruit heavily and the ND universities are still a bit less expensive as a lot of others across the country too and this helps. UND used to be the nations dominant force in college hockey but they are going through some changes at the university and have had some off seasons. They are goinfgg to be one of the leading UAV research and development places now awarded recently to develop the Drone program. :banghead:

The said 90% of the nearly 20k tickets sold to the game in Frisco TX. were to Bison fans, it was like they were at a home game!

How About This For Doing A Swap?!
Easier and cheaper to do a gear swap if needed.
