Question?
BNSF is huge in my area as well and always hiring, the thing that kept me from trying for a job with them over the years was the odd hours of work and always on call for many of the positions plus I am not for union jobs either, I don't like living life on the road 8 hours at a time. I like my head on my own pillow at night.

Someone has gun and dun it!!!!
Its a car / pickup difference, Pickups filler necks are always on the driver side and most but not all cars are on the passenger side.

Someone has gun and dun it!!!!
It goes the other way at times too, my wife has had pricks like that cut her off at the diesel pumps not realizing her VW TDI is a diesel, it has happened to her 2 times in the last couple months and it really peeeeeved her off too. I wouldn't be so nice, they would have #2 running down their pant leg if they tried it on me.

industrial injection anyone heard of them???
I ran an HRVP44 from II as well as getting one of the first 2nd gen polished silver 62 turbos from them and I dealt with them one on one and had several hour long conversations with them before biting the bullet but they gave me a huge discount for being among the first to beta test it so to say. I had excellent luck dealing with them.

Still No Gauges
Dorkweed That was me on my 02, the main power wire going to the ignition switch broke and caused a similar issue but mine would not act up like his it was either making connection or not I couldn't even start it unless I tilted the wheel while holding the key in the start position. It would be worth a check to pull the column plastic and inspect the wires going into the key switch, they are on the bottom side.

Diesel fuel, School me!
You should never see the need for any winterized fuel or the need for any #1 in your area, if anything a good fuel additive would be plenty to get you through any cold spell you may get short term.

Diesel fuel, School me!
First off what pat of the country do you call home and secondly what are the coldest temps you see where you are at?
-
Caliper Brake Bracket
Yep it needs to come off to remove the rotor and you should be able to get them loose with 1/2 inch chrome 12pt socket if it is of quality if not then you need to get a better socket.

Getting Tired of Snow Already
I don't know what happened but I used to like winter and it didn't bother me at all but the last several years I have lost been gradually losing my tolerance for it and since I passed 40 I want to get out of it.This cold snap has come way too early its not normal until the end of December and jan / feb.The last 2-3 summers have been unusually colder and wetter than normal and spring and summer come later and are shorter than usual too the last few years. We have not had temps over 100 like we used to normally get in july / august like was normal either the last several years.

CAD Axle violent release.
Inspect all the vacuum hoses back to the t-case switch at least.
-
CAD Axle violent release.
a bit of sealant works good.
-
CAD Axle violent release.
The CAD box tends to hold any condensation and things can get a bit gummy and or rusty inside. Only 4 bolts to pull the cover off and inspect. I have seen other issues inside too but since it does still engage and disengage I would look it over for a reason to be hung up. The splined couplers can get an edge on the if slow to engage from grinding and this will cause it to uncouple hard as well.If you have a hand vacuum pump it is easy to test the diaphragm once it is apart too.

O...M...G!
Too many folks rush into an unsafe scene to help and wind up becoming victims themselves, one needs to make sure the scene is safe first and foremost before putting yourself or others in harms way..................................Emergency Response 101 rule #1.

Truck wont start
Yep just hook your meter or test light to them and see if you get power when key is turned to start position. If you try to jump the starter you need to jump the battery positive cable to the little positive signal terminal to kick it in. You got sparks because you hit the positive battery terminal with a ground terminal or the body of the solenoid or starter.
-
Truck wont start
It should crank over or attempt to even with one good battery, you need to check the small signal wire at the starter solenoid for power when the key is turned to the start position. Do not know any specifics on the rig yet if it is a manual or auto, neutral safety switch bad or clutch pedal switch bad?Someone has not updated their signature yet.............................wink wink!!

O...M...G!
I have numerous friends in law enfocement and they are the ones who told me some of these things and while I was in First responder training they drilled it into our heads as well to not depend on LEO's for support in this area as well, Not the law enforcements fault that so many want to jump on the lawsuit wagon right away for every little thing so they stay back and away to prevent department issues. Even with the Good samaritan clause law suits are still ramant in society. Not defending the officers actions in the video at all on this one but society dictates the actions of a lot now days.:banghead:
