This file is a Tune builder tool that opens in Excel and allows you to alter V2 tunes using your computer. The article that covers the useage is here

  1. Cool, Do a good hard 0- 60 run and a good hard highway speed pull.
  2. Try this Timing = 5Fuel Stretch = 2000TPS MIN = 0 (both can and pump_TPS MAX CAN = 100TPS MAX Pump = 70Boost Scaling = 25 that should go pretty good.
  3. I would leave it in terms of timing. the documentation is erroring on the VERY safe side, the timing isn't gonna blow anything up provided that it pulls once you get on the throttle. If you want you can pull .5* from the 2k setting. I would run this As for boost have you done a boost leak test? you can do things to throw more fuel at it if need be, but I want to make sure we cover the bases. @Maybornk Looking through your logs I dont see TPS input great than ~%40 so I can't comment much on the psi only being 27 max. Ensure you are going WOT.
  4. Yea I will be curious to see what the defuel sensor is doing while this happens.
  5. @Carbur8tr how does the IOS load tunes?
  6. Whats your warmup temp sent to? After 50 mph an addition 1* of timing gets tacked on to your light throttle timing to help support mpg. Timing above 2000 is going ot ramp up very quickly with your curve being 22* at 2500 and 17 at 2k it is going ot increase by 5* in those 500 rpm. I think this is why you are seeing the timing above 19* in the 2k region. Overall I am not worried about the timing as when you put your foot into it the timing drops a lot. are you seeing any drivablity issues or just confused at to why timing is near 19* at 2k?
  7. Thanks. It is hard to say what it is, but hte defuel is coded to be a little lazy so it isn't jerking the truck around to try and keep a perfect psi.
  8. I honestly have no idea. I dont have an Ios device to test with
  9. can you datalog it for me?
  10. Install them one stud at a time according to the directions. I dont remember exactly what was done.
  11. that's what I did. Pull one bolt, install one stud. Rinse and repeat
  12. I am running PN 24V104VS. Stock cam no issues.
  13. @dieselautopower got me my springs, they seem to be working well for me
  14. @TFaoro Not sure what you are looking at.
  15. @TFaoro nah I just need the actuator to play with and see what can be done. once I have something rough we will get it in.
  16. timing advance is no longer base 17* it is on top of your rpm timing curve. So you will get a max of 19* at 2k rpm
  17. I would prefer you had studs, but I can say pretty much all tuners out there can get 19.5* of timing at 2000 rpm. you will feel the truck being held back when timing is to far advanced. In order to be safe with it, I would just ensure that timing gets pulled as soon as you increase fueling beyond cruise state. Use the Light throttle load limit to control this. that % should be set ~%5 above your cruising load. That will ensure that if you increase load timing will decrease and not risk damage to the headgasket My truck likes that much timing at 2k rpm. I ran that much timing for ALONG time on stock headbolts.
  18. Add more fuel until you see a dark haze. That should get you as much fuel as needed when you go WOT from a light. I would try adding fuel to the canbus before wiretap. Think of Wiretap as a way to fill the mid to high rpm lul that occurs on a stock truck.
  19. Wiretap is also related to TPS input so if you are leaving the light at light throttle then you wont be using much wiretap. MPG while leaving a light is also VERY bad regardless lol. If it's clean at %115 add another %5. I can't speak to what is normal. Are you going WOT leaving a light and it is still clean?
  20. I would run the stock injector daily tune I posted in the tune download section. Yes the box under the hood sees the same boost you do. The box under the hood reads boost from the ECM until 16 psi. I woiuld just crank up canbus fueling at 0psi as high as you want until you run into smoke. Then create the curve based on that. Also take your Pump Low Boost Scale: setting down from 8 psi to 2ish. That way you are getting wiretap sooner.
  21. it will play the same roll as stock, I datalogged the effect sometime ago and it was just like without the smarty.
  22. If you had the Contorl pod you are running V1 tunes, not V2 tunes. The V2 tunes are smoother than the v1 tunes. you can flash the box under the hood with the v2 base tune, but that is up to you. I did a video covering the process. If you want V1 tune suggestions create a new thread with that title and I can give you some pointers.
  23. The fuel will still be there, but just not all crammed in a small % of tps movement. the less fueling resolution you have the worse off your fueling will be. I am guessing your rev limiter issue is related to trying to cram to much fueling at a given rpm.
