  1. If at all possible I would use the 3rd gen manifold so your turbo isn't shoved up into where the air cleanre sits. the exhaust housing is large and would fit alot nice next to the block.
  2. you would have to remote mount the exchanger. I wish I would have gone the 3rd gen route.
  3. every inch increase of tire height difference is ~0.12 removed from the effective gearing. IE: going to 35's is like going from 3.55 rear end to 3.05
  4. You choose BT or wifi, android device use BT ios devices use wifi.
  5. @kzimmer I have often wondered that. I don't doubt it honestly.
  6. It will smoke as much as you tell it to. That's as much as we will give you. Learn how to do it from the tuning side.
  7. lol my truck would hate that much timing. so strange.
  8. The custom tunes in the download section are build to meet the specific needs of the user. IE: I need WAY less duration that %85 of the vp44 trucks out there to meet my needs.
  9. Kzimmer found a bug that kept load from showing on the screen. I forgot to comment out a testing thing I do. No impact other than not seeing load on the screen. Here's the fix. V2Idlesmooth.exe It also has a new thing in the defuel to try and increase fueling if boost drops too much below the defuel set psi. This was only an issue if you were shifting into OD while boost was at or near the limit. It would self resolve, but it took a good 5 seconds.
  10. not yet. I forgot about that until I hit export haha.
  11. Here's some testing on the Boost Defueling stuff when running these big injectors. Backdown % goes pretty high, but EGT's and boost stay stable even when I go WOT at the end of the graph.
  12. You can control it, but if you can't import and export I don't see a point.
  13. I haven't gotten around to this yet, but I am planning on it today after work
  14. If you have the Iquad you should play with the wew V2 tuning stuff. It is right up your alley. lots of cool stuff in the Quadzilla section now days.
  15. I had a similar issue here in town with a horse trailer on the back. i ended up having to use apair of vise grips to pinch the drivers front line haha. that was "fun"
  16. different pumps man. I would highly suggest running around on the edge for a bit and see what happens. The "baseline" mpg number you are going off of is really not comparable to what you have now.
  17. You might check my thread in the Quadzilla section about the 7 x .012's I am running. It is my belief that VCO's are better in a day to day enviroment. With V2 you really want to go bigger than you think you want in terms of injectors. The control of V2 will allow you to limit total fueling duration and keep stess off the pump . I have outlined the evidence in the thread below. You can flash the box yourself as well. The video of how to is in the Quadzilla section as well.
  18. there was nearly 0 proof puddling no data logs no videos nadda. Just the word of a U.Per
  19. Here's some towing info video with teh 7 x .012 I hooked up to the trailer this morning, empty weight is somewhere in the #5500 to #6000 area. I didn't see any difference compared to towing it with the 7 x .009's in terms of heat. MY tow tune on the 7 x .009's smoked more than my daily tune with the 7 x .012's but again the 7 x .012's tune puts down more power. Did a %100 throttle low rpm climbing a grade to see if I could force a heat issue. heres the log. Highest EGT I could get was ~1200*f I did a %50 throttle take off to ~60 mph. WAY WAY WAY more throttle than I would every use with a horse in the back. Here's the video and the log for that. Log Video
  20. I noticed an issue the other night that all the canbus sensors were frozen but the ADC sensors, egt fuel pressure trans temp, were working.
  21. What are your goals? I would recommend going with VCO nozzle injectors over SAC unless you are looking for every ounce of power possible. I would also recommend a little bigger injector then using hte V2 tuning to control it. You are going to run out of clutch in short order though. Brings us back to the goals of the truck and the needs of the truck? If oyu already have the Iquad I would upgrade to v2 now.
