  1. leaving a light if you go WOT does it smoke?
  2. I have ~200 hp region injectors currently I have head studs. My tunes will not be suited for your truck it will be a dog. You will want to run Mikes tunes or the tunes I put out for mild injectors.
  3. you grey smoke might clear up with more timing, or less timing lolol. Can you isolate a rpm range where you have this smoke?
  4. @TFaoro curse you!!!! the tfaoro leaky line curse has migrated to my truck. I should have never parked my truck close to yours. lines 5 and 4 have now been polished up, we will see if I continue to leak diesel.
  5. yea I like the main gauge in the middle and the 9 around the outside. Might throw a little more timing in the rpm range that you are seeing the grey smoke. Do you have studs? ( please say yes)
  6. right meow. are you sure your smoke is just not more like haze now? I would spend some more time dialing in your tune.
  7. you can select different gauge sets, swipe left or right to change the screen.
  8. MPG will be all using the current hardware just a new gauges and using just some internal calculations done based on the fueling commmand and how big your injectors are lol.
  9. knoby tires weren't made for wet lol. Meh whateve rI stick with highway tread anyways. It's a good excuse to not break my truck by offroading.
  10. yes how much timing you get, as a total, when you are at cruise state.. this is the setting the light throttle timing controls.
  11. must be a tps issue then.
  12. add more timing each truck is a little different. Mikes truck likes ~23* of timing at 65 mind likes 19.5-20* at 65 Keep walking up your cruise timing by .5* until you start the feel the truck have a "lul" when you go into cruise state. egts should also come down the closer you come to opitiomal timing. However 17 at 80 is not bad. I would ask your friend for some proof pudding.
  13. Whats wrong with your duratracs? Other than being loud and heavy they were really nice on my wifes chebby.
  14. tps apps vss oss lol you are right
  15. theres one on the trans as well that the pcm looks at for things.
  16. it's very diffcult to average long term like that. I might consider it down the road, but my attempts to do it ended up running into major issues.
  17. the next update will contain a gallons used trip meter and an instant mpg meter, it will not have a average mpg.
  18. The manifold is not great I agree, but it is enough and the perks it adds to the swap are major. The flow numbers for the super hx40 are in the 65-69 lb / min as far as I have seen. the map's for the 40 show it running out of steam at the 130,000 rpm mark, which puts max at right around 40 psi. The adapter for the wgmt flange is a pita and expensive. th eposition of the turbo sucks as well when you soncider clocking and the shock tower etc. the downfall of the manifold design are outweighted by the perks.
  19. Vss doesn't control the speed. Vss is what the pcm and ecm use to defuel
  20. In terms of flow for the turbo in question it shouldn't matter. The vgt won't flow enough to matter in my mind
  21. Did you replace the vss sensor?
  22. I haven't had the time, I pulled it out, but remember that I am now using a mega not an uno so I forgot. The harness is easy though, boost and drive are both 5v reference sensors, so you do 5v input from the board to the sensor, ground from any ground to the sensor. then the sense wire from the sensor to the input pin on the arduino. Pins for the sensor inputs are #define BoostPressurePin A0 so analog 0 #define ExhaustPressurePin A1 #define PotentiometerPin A2 #define ThrottlePositionPin A3 The pot is 5v in, ground, and output goes to a2 TPS is simply a tap on the wire coming from the TPS sensor and is not required. but is light blue and block from the tps. Inputs for the EB and Switch on the pot ( again opitional) EB = D9 Switch = d7 D = digitial, which is just a open or closed, so just groung out one side of the switch wiring then run the other side to the right pin on the arduino. Effecively the switch just grounds the pin on the board. The VR sensor is alittle more in depth, but I believe I posted on that, trying to dig now. Does that help?
