VP44 info needed
The design of my mpg meter will handle efficienties, I just needed to know if that 125mm3 was for a system that includes the injectors being stock. I am pretty close here.

The calibration is considering the injector size. 125mm3 is oem command and bosch duration through an oem nozzle? Haha i dont know that much, i am just bull headed enough to look until i find out.

So the theory is then that 125mm3 of fuel or 125 cc per 1000 strokes is enough for 650 hp. Is that true? That 125cc number is too low in my mind for 650 hp.

Alright I am working through the process of creating a true instant MPG meter. In theory, I love that word, we should be able to know how much fuel is being burned. We know commanded duration, we know speed, we know rpms. Below is the rough draft #1 for my testing, I am not concerned about it being %100 accurate. So my Question is when it comes to injectors in the VP44 system. If the vp44 can produce 125mm3 of fuel per stroke in stock form, what happens when you increase injector size? Does having larger injectors mean the vp44 will produce more fuel, IE 200 mm3 of fuel? Or is the 125mm3 the vp44 is spec'd to produce a constant unrelated to the injectors? @jlbayes @mopar1973man @carbur8tr and anyone else that has an input.

02 Cummins 1850rpm max
we need to get this into an article so it is not lost. Can you do me a favor and post, in one post, all the issues you had with specifiics and the resolution to the issue? Think of it as a searchable issue and resolution.

@kzimmer Try this tune out. I think the idle select state is good. How it works If truck is auto then, TPS > 3 will cause quad to fuel or if rpms >1200 & canfueling > %4 If it is a stick then TPS > 3 and rpm > 950 or rpms > 1200 and canfueling > %4 Otherwise don't fuel. V2Idlechange.exe

Battery disconnected about 1 year..reset something?
Apps will need to be reset.

Quadzilla Warmup / High Idle
Yep. Warmup mode is either %100 of stock or 0 psi setting whatever is smaller. Thinking through your issue

Fuel Article - Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Tune builder for PC
This Excel Powered Macro will allow you to generate Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 tunes using a computer. THIS TOOL IS NOT A QUADZILLA POWER LLC DESIGNED TOOL. Please don't report bugs to them, report them to us. This Tool was designed by @Carbur8tr with the input from @me78569 Side note, if you would rather have a pre built tune to start with you can checkout our tune repository. https://mopar1973man.com/forum/182-quadzilla-v2-custom-tune-repository/ It has helpful functions such as - Ez Tune builder, input your injector size and altitude along with how mild - > wild you want the tune - Output Timing calculator, input conditions such as rpm load tps and boost then find the outputted timing at a given point - 3d maps for timing based on inputs. - 2d rpm based timing maps - easily add fuel to a section of the tune - Import and alter existing tunes Huge thanks to @Carbur8tr for his work on getting this built for the Quadzilla community. Please shoot him a Buck or two in the donation prompt that comes up when you use the tool. There are countless hours involved in the development. To download this Excel Macro tool please visit the download section How to use the Tool Step 1. Double Click the Excel file to open. You will be asked to donate, click yes if you want to send a few bucks to the guy who put the work in, or No if you want to just use the tune. Step 2. When prompted select a tune file that was exported from the Iquad App You can find a blank V2 tune file HERE Step 3. This will Open to the tune builder window. Ensure you click "enable editing" and "enable content" if they appear at the top Step 4. Edit your tune by inputting your tuning variables into the fiels on the excel spreadsheet. You can use the Ez tune builder button on the Form to bring up injector size and Altitude. These settings will pre populate a safe and clean tune. you can increase the aggressiveness by selecting a tune setting from mild to wild. Once you are done with your settings hit the "build Tune" button to populate the tune builder. Use the build charts button to bring up charts of the timing curves and canbus fueling curves Step 5. Export your Tune, click "export tune" and then save it to your desired location. View full Cummins article

Quadzilla Shudder light throttle
I think what i am going to do is lower the min point where the Quad kicks in, but only for automatics.

It's as if your injectors aren't popping off in the last bit of the graph. Look at hte first bit and you can see the egt's spike following canbus jumping. that isn't happening at the end part of the map. @nomercy_z06 Does any smoke come out of the tail pipe when it stalls? If so what color. @kzimmer Whats the lowest rpm you could see idling around the parking lot?

would you say the truck starts to stumble abour half second after tps returns to 0? I am curious about that canbus signal that drops to 0 there on line 21.

Thanks Very interesting. You can see the ECM is trying to keep the truck alive, but the vp isn't responding. Note the canbus fuel message sky rocketing, BUT EGT's are nearly stable. Flash that flash I gave you and see if you can reproduce the issue, but the Quadzilla gives up controls soon as TPS = 0 or RPMS are sub 950 rpm. I am confused as to why the vp44 isn't fueling on command.

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
I am not complaining, nor do I understand it. I will say that if other tuners in the vp44 world, including the old Quadzilla tunes, aren't blowing heads off left and right / causing major issues, then there is very little risk of causing damage on a vp truck in the 2500+ rpm area as a result of too much timing. I dont think the vp44 can give us enough true timing at the injector to cause damage in the 2.5k rpm + area.

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
that is very intesting. I noticed this when I upped my max timing from 26* to 29* I now have a slight grey haze, but a much better pulling truck in the 2800+ rpm So what I am getting is 1. Smoke telling you whats happening 2. noise 3. datalogging and resulting fuel logs I find it a VERY difficult and time consuming to nail down a change I would call " progress" as for economy, my truck seems to be easy to please. If I stick timing between 19-20* at 65 mph I get no less than 24 mpg. as soon as I go more than 1-2* away from that mpg drops like a stone.

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
@AH64ID So question for how you handle making changes. what process do you go through to make an adjustment to a tune? I am not talking about in the software itself, but what thought process do you go through? How do you recognize an issue or an area in the map that needs an adjustment? How do you know if you have fixed what you set out to fix. How many hours do you drive per change, on average, before moving on to another part of the map? @mopar1973man has good questions in regards to how we should know if a .5* timing adjustment helps or hurts at a given point.
