  1. yea I am happy I got out. much happier next to canada.
  2. looking for maintence records is more than just showing that something was done. It is to help see the type of person you are buying from. If a owner keeps records of stuff then you know that cared about the vehicle. Someone with an attachment to a vehicle is likely going to be more forthright and more proactive about things on the truck.
  3. depends on rpm try 18-19* at 65 and see what mpg do then make your tune bump down timing when you step on it and you can add a bit more timing if you want. 20* was the magic number for my truck but I has really big injectors.
  4. we could put a magazine but all of the clipped images and stick glue would be a mess.
  5. Yes as long as when you put your foot in it timing drops.
  6. Ditch the ddp injectors first. They are making life worse than they need to be since they use the wrong spray angle for a VP truck. Ddp's are hot and smokey regardless of air.
  7. That's a blanket a-ok statement to cya. However keep in mind that the edge will command 25* by 2400 r and 30* by 3k You just don't want a high load on the truck, high tps input in the sub 2k area and 20*+ of timing.
  8. What's important is if you have a load on and you put your foot into it does timing drop down in the 1500-2200 rpm area?
  9. don't stack these 2 boxes one or the other. you can technicaly stack but htere is no point. both boxes do the same thing, both boxes max duration and I would say the edge EZ does a better job with timing. I would run the edge ez over the smarty.
  10. boost scaling is the y axis of the map for wiretap fueling. x is rpm's boost scaling means the y axis is between 0 and 20 psi. Pump low boost is what the "offset" is for the starting point. So if you set your pump low boost to 18 psi then you 0 psi mark on the wiretap is offset by 18 so the map starts at 18psi and will increase until 38 psi (18+20) = 38. easy way to think about it is pump low boost moves the entire map up or down based on boost, boost scaling compresses the mapfrom 0-40 scale to 0-20 psi scale.
  11. Anti mask people being mad at a company with a mandate is dumb, it's the companies right as a private company to mandate masks in the same way that the bakers in colorado can say they don't want to make a cake for *** couple. It is your choice to support that business with your $$ or not. That's how capitalism works.
  12. there is no one size fits all answer. I am just sticking to my vote out incumbents.
  13. I am not a mask guy, but I think the arguement is even if the mask catches %20 or %50 of the rona then you have effectively reduced the number of people that come in contact to the virus by that % and thus as those people go out and infect if they have masks they also cut the spread by %20 -%50 then you ultimately have far less people who come in contact. 1 * 3 = 3 > 3 * 3 = 9 > 9 *3= 27 > 27*3 = 81 > 81*3 = 243 1*2 = 2 > 2*2 = 4 > 4* 2 =8 > 8 * 2 = 16 > 16* 2 = 24 so by cutting transmission by %33 you get 220 few people that have been exposed to it over 5 interactions from the original carrier. This is all VERY fluffy math, but I see their hope in it helping. However I think it is a much better example of how laws / regulations need to be put in place for the areas that they work rather than state wide or nation wide. The county I live in still has not had a case and you don't see many masks here..... However you can only really manage blanket laws in our society now that power has been moved from local government to state and state to fed levels. It's a broken system. The country is too big and there are too many subsets of culture to do that. Here is a study on what masks block even with particals much smaller than the mask is rated for. https://smartairfilters.com/en/blog/can-masks-capture-coronavirus/
  14. your wastegate is blowing open too soon. if you already have the bleed screw in all the way then I would talk to however you got hte turbo from. you can pressuize the wastegate, but you need exhaust pressure for it to fight against. still a little high for 35's and 3.55's
  15. I'd rig something up to force the wastegate to stay closed and try a run.
  16. how's the wastegate on the turbo? Might hold it closed on a run and seeing how it does. I am leaning towards lack of air rather than tuning issues.
  17. kinda like saying a 2L engine from 2000 should make the same hp as a 2L engine from 2020. Newer technology and design allows for higher output with the same size. that's a really rough statement but true. Size isn't everything.
  18. it's easy take away their ablity to make money..... pretty much I am taking the stance of voting against any incumbent in power of any election.
  19. In a capitalist society everyone is essential. Sorry that's how it works.
  20. intakes wont do much on a stockish level truck.
  21. term limits should be a no brainer.
  22. you are going to have to chase wires to find this ground.
  23. all those sensors share a ground so you likely have an issue with the shared ground . From article https://mopar1973man.com/cummins/articles.html/24-valve-2nd-generation_50/51_engine/electrical/1999-dodge-cummins-wiring-maps-r469/#a16
