yep, agree'd but even 4th lockup going up the pass from 6000' - 8700' doesn't give me IAT temps above 143. Odd I agree, but that's what I see. hence why I leave the fooler on.

I am one of the people who started with the first of the bad runs of airdog pumps. It is a terrible pump, 10+ psi pressure drops between idle and WOT. 4 dead raptor pumps in 2 years. I now have a spare pump built from old dead pumps.

that's what I promote above 14psi no matter what, set your idle pressure at whatever it takes to keep your wot pressure above 14 psi. If you idle pressure starts getting above ~22 psi to accomplish that then you have an issue with your pump.

I would look at your tv cable then at your governer

honestly no they have no released a set of serial numbers for old vs new. anything over 2.5 years ISH is likely good.

Without the fooler I never see 143*f for IAT. I run the fooler no matter what honestly.

I can add a little fuel to the fire. During one of my trips my Pureflow pump decided it wanted to start pumping 35psi instead of 20psi, due to it being 0*f out and windy I just kept going, no blown seal in my vp44. This has happened 3 or 4 times now and I have yet to have a seal blow. Now saying that ~400 miles total at 35 psi = vp44 safe at 35 psi isn;t true, but as stated above we really don't know. I have been running my pump at 23-25psi idle for 15,000 miles now and no issues with the seal.

yep check your pump for leaks. This is a known issue, hence my signature.

its a piggy pack system so yes it will work, but I don't think the edges reads coolant and iat temp from the sensors, but over the canbush. regardless it will work.

Is your quad high idle enabled? With the quad high idle enabled delay of 10 seconds, the truck would start to idle up from the quad then die almost immediately. As soon as I turned off my quads high idle the truck acted perfectly. Ed should we setup a google maps thing of the states with icons for smarty owner locations?

Big thanks to TFaoro for flashing my ecu today. Great guy Side note if you are running a quadzilla adr box ENSURE that your quad high idle is disabled before you try and turn Ed's switch to high idle. The combo of the quad bumping the RPMS up and the high idle software will cause the truck to due and it will take some time for the vp to reprime

I don't have any so I threw the jack in there since it was easiest. You could through the jack on the side somewhere, but that's up to the person. I would rather have everything contained. The rest of the faceplate is pretty full. I myself don't use a tape ever so it worked good. And here I thought this was a cool QIY never thought I would get so much hate and no people going awesome hahaha
