Case 1835B fuel gauge
On older models of most anything you can check the gauge easily. With key on disconnect wire at sender. Gauge should go completely one way, then ground the wire and should go completely the other way. This also checks your wiring. Hope this helps.

Out-of-town CEL
Been back from my trip since Sunday night. Busy with work till last night. Disconnected batteries and replaced crank sensor, hooked up batteries and reset APPS. Engine started right up and cel was gone. Will test drive today. On my trip home, with 150 miles to go, 10:30 pm in a town that was asleep I shut truck off and wouldn't start. Also saw a couple of times tach wasn't working during trip. Wanted to remove crank sensor, but couldn't get starter bolts loose. After an hour it started!

Out-of-town CEL
I think these 2 showed up about a year ago, cleared them and stayed away till now. Somewhere on here I think I read that if you disconnect batteries you need to reset apps. I had alternator quit at nite and drove to destination. Next morning batteries were dead. This happened when I first bought truck. Never reset apps. Could that cause this code?

Snow plow?
This plow came with the truck when I bought it so I can only tell you what po paid as I have original invoice. It is a Western plow with with the ultra mount system. It was purchased from Layton Truck & Equipment in Colorado Springs for $3900 in 2003. It is very easy to mount and dismount. 2 elect connectors, 2 spring loaded pins and that's it. You can pull another pin and the adapter that sticks out from under bumper comes off. You can still see the mount but not so obvious. Hope this is helpful. Feel free to ask questions. This is the 1st plow I've owned and have only used it one winter so don't have a lot of experience. Can send more photos if you like. I believe plow is mounted in my garage photo.

What would you look for?
I haven't had a car since the company I work for gave me a pkp to drive. For me, even though comfortable, most cars are hard to get in and out of. Good for travel, but I always seem to have something to haul or tow. If a person could afford to have one of everything.....

Cables on my 98 were bad when I got it. On the battery end they were swelled up for about 4". If I cut that much off they were too short. Options were limited.- need new battery cables
I made new positive cables for my 98. Went to napa and got red cable and soldered on new terminals. Came out great.- Teardown and Rebuild

Need gage advice. I have recently inherited a DiPricol pyrometer, however, the probe and wiring are missing. Included with the gage is the new probe and wiring for an Autometer pyrometer. Can anyone tell me if these will work together ? - Pictures...
