Plumbing the BHAF
How do you hook up the BHAF? Is there a thread on that already?

Need heat in my Cab
Is there any difference from 12valve to 24? Are the heaters different too? I don't have recirculate unless its on max AC

Need heat in my Cab
You would think that if your coolant is 170 then the air should be at least 100, but mine only gets warm enough to defrost the windows. I'll have to check my mix control

mechanical or electric gauge
thanks for the info, I like mechanical gauges but where I want to mount it a wire would be easier to hide

mechanical or electric gauge
So the needle valve is just a shut off valve that you just open a small amount and the snubber just isolates the sending unit and has some "give" to absorb the pulse?

additives
An older guy I know who only drives older vehicles (gas) adds a quart of ATF to his tank every so often. He says it keeps things clean and lubed. Would that work in a diesel?

Airdog now?
I know my VP44 is on the way out, but I was wondering if installing an airdogII now would hurt anything. I think I'll go with the AirdogII because I like the idea of the adjustable regulator. Does FASS offer anything that's adjustable? I'm still hoping the vp44 makes it to spring.

mechanical or electric gauge
what exactly is a needle valve and where do you get one?

Quietest muffler?
I'll be getting one this spring. Sounds like just what I need.

Wheel bearings 4x4 3500
Great info, thanks! Any trouble removing the ball joints? I'll be doing the same this spring.

Quietest muffler?
What is the difference between a resonator and a muffler? I have a similar problem, I love the sound of 5" straight pipe, but long trips with the camper and the family, it gets a little loud.

Was my engine not getting worked hard enough?
Thanks everyone, I think I'll be getting a timer and a winter front. Even plugged in it takes a long time to warm up all the way.

Was my engine not getting worked hard enough?
Is there any problem with leaving it plugged in all night?

VP44 puller
thanks everyone for the info. I watched a video on how to replace the VP44 and they used the round puller so I thought thats what was needed. Looks pretty easy now that I understand. I'm sure I have a puller that will work.

VP44 puller
I will be replacing it. I found one on line by blue point that was round. Does anyone have one of those? I can't find the dimensions for it. The puller fits inside the timing cover right? I can just take the breather out and measure.

VP44 puller
Does anyone have the dimensions for the VP44 gear puller? I want to make one for almost free rather than paying $40 + for one.

throttle cut out
Did you get your parts yet? Hope the replacement goes well

throttle cut out
I'm probably going to find out how long it will last:pray: I guess I'll start pricing them. Who has the best price on VP44/lift pump packages?
-
throttle cut out
Well I got my codes read and the only code was P0216. Is there anything else I need to check like wiring or connections before condemning the pump?

throttle cut out
I went camping this weekend and most of the 5 hour drive was fine. About halfway there at about 65 mph it felt like I let my foot of the pedal. It didn't die but I had to push in the clutch and rev it a few times before it came back. It happened several more times on the trip. On the way home I set my programmer back to stock and it didn't seem to do it as much (coincidence ?). Could it be the TPS or whatever its called on a dodge? Any input would be great.

Oil
I have heard about the 2 cycle oil but don't know how to use it.

AirDog 150 is Installed!
Is 17-18 psi what you would recommend for a mostly stock engine? I'm trying to decide between Airdog and FASS but have not seen a comparison. Any advise would be great
