  1. You lost me at paying for a discount.
  2. If it wasn't installed with a snubber/needle valve and a suitable distance away from the VP44, the water hammer effect of the injection pump probably fried the sensor. Been there and done that my friend. Also... Are you sure you have fuel pressure?
  3. Did you order and install the fuel pressure sensor? It doesn't come with the quad.
  4. I haven't done any research on this but I think the pump needs to turn CCW while looking from the front of the motor. 50/50 chance, right?
  5. I never adjusted the timing on my old 93, but the Denny T fuel pin and pump adjustments went a long way, low end and top end.
  6. Only if it's stuck open, correct? And there should be black smoke and a heavy fuel knock?
  7. From what I understand, most clutch surfaces are not designed to hold high load in the reverse direction. Doing so can cause slippage and wear. The same would likely apply to automatics and manuals. Maybe it's just not bad enough to worry about?
  8. Jumper the black/white wire at the plug to one of the other wires... I'm not sure which one, but it's likely grounded if you test it. There's 3 wires on the plug, you have a 50/50 chance, lol.
  9. If it's not cranking at all, you need to jumper the park/neutral safety switch.
  10. @Me78569 Did you maybe use the test vehicle profile?
  11. Personally, I think this deserves it's own permanent parameter, like "Max Boost @ 0 Speed". I look forward to being able to use this in the future. Even in the download link, it mentions an example where the driver would like to leave the line at 10 psi. But this is not currently possible.
  12. But these transmissions are electronically controlled. So the PCM is the brain. ... How long can we keep this thread derailed, lol.
  13. Hello @Quadzilla Power, I would like to try the staging flash file for controlled boosted launches (low boost). The problem is, the app limits the Boost Defuel option to minimum 23 PSI. That's way high for my intentions. I would like to set this to around 10 psi. Can this limit be lowered? Thank you, -Kole
  14. Technically the oil pump is the heart. And the valve body is like... the arteries and valves. Haha sorry @Evan I couldn't resist.
  15. If you run high boost and/or high RPM, then it's a good idea. If not, I think it'd be a waste of time and money.
  16. I love when schematics are wrong...
  17. In the downloads section in the Dodge FSM Category.
  18. Take a look at that second schematic a little closer. That's not the ECM switching the wait to start light; it's the PCM. Like I said. Slow down a little bit here.
  19. Wait wait wait. Slow down a second. Are you guys sure it's the ECM? I thought the bus originates at the PCM? Couldn't the wait to start light just not be showing because of the lack of data bus and lack of communication with the cluster? Same root cause as the "no bus" message? If the ECM was causing the "no bus" problem, couldn't you unplug the ECM and turn the key on to rule it out?
  20. Done. Pending approval. I used this manual to rebuild my trans recently. It was very helpful. I'll be installing the trans this weekend hopefully. I also took a pile of pictures, so I might do a redneck homebuilt trans writeup, for a fairly basic rebuild.
  21. So... What I'm getting from that, is I should upload it. Lol.
  22. Check the bolted wire harness connection inside the fuse box under the hood. The only time I ever saw "no bus" on my truck, I had to fiddle with this connection, take it off, clean, reinstall. It hasn't been back for me. Just one of likely many possibilities though.
  23. I have a PDF copy of the ATSG manual. I could upload it to the site if someone verifies that there is no major copywrite issues. The FSM is on the site already, so it's probably the same thing.
  24. Free time... What's free time?
  25. I purchased one off of eBay, along with the Cummins / Bosch injector adapter. I think it came from India, and was very reasonably priced. However, I had to make some modifications. The gauge was crap, so I removed it and purchased one from a local ag supply store. The threads were not north american standard, so I had to get a little creative with an adapter and some JB weld, haha. All in all, I am very glad I have one, I've used it once for my Jetta TDI and several times on the Cummins. It's nice to be able to take my injectors out, re-pop, and replace in an afternoon.
