  1. Just don't feed them after midnight.
  2. Just about every country in the world, other than the good old USA, haha.
  3. She can probably build a deadly dream catcher.
  4. Thanks @IBMobile, I've been looking for a wire that's switched with engine running. I'm going to use it to disable the grid heaters through a 200 amp solenoid I got off of Amazon while the engine is running. I think it's the simplest way to protect the alternator from the grids. Sorry to get the thread off topic.
  5. This step is optional. But you are definitely on the right track.
  6. It makes sense to gradually increase in % per PSI. The more you do, the more aggressive the fuelling will be. Too aggressive isn't always a good thing for daily driving and/or towing, and can even make cruise control surge a little. Have a look at the downloads section for some user submitted tunes and see what others have done. It might make some sense.
  7. If your quad is installed properly and functioning, there's no was your truck will drive on level 1 with max valet mode power set to 5%. It probably won't even drive below 50%. Have another look at the articles and videos and whatnot. Which part of the instructions don't make sense? If you can cite an example I'm sure we can help you out.
  8. That's a neat idea. Need an on-delay relay instead of an off-delay relay. Except then your key-on prime will get shortened, or cancelled.
  9. Toss up a picture.
  10. Let me know if this ends up being a good long term solution. I was thinking about doing this.
  11. If I had to guess, without doing any research at all, I'd have to think it might be because of an intentionally rich AFR in certain situations to appease emissions, and to keep the CAT temps in check. Just a thought though, take it for what it's worth.
  12. This might not be considered low if it's an HO VP. Might actually be a little high @ 1500, not sure though.
  13. I've never seen a vehicle with a sump have 1/4 tank issue. Did you mount the sump directly below the factory fuel canister?
  14. Some engines may respond better with a more aggressive timing pull down low to get the turbo lit. The biggest thing is to have flexibility to experiment and see what works best. Maybe you want to pull timing way faster, or earlier in the throttle, but don't want to pull too many degrees. You can get the best of both worlds.
  15. 2° @ 100% will give you an evenly linearly scaled 0 - 2° pull in timing. 4° @ 100% will give you 4° total in the same fashion. 4° @ 50% will give you a maximum of 2°, but with a more aggressive ramp, as it is trying to ramp at the same rate as the 4° reduction, but stops at 2°.
  16. Haha right on, let me know! I'm actually in Alberta visiting family, I'll be passing through your neck of the woods tomorrow on the way home.
  17. I don't need to amp up my retard side more than it is. Lol. Is there any documentation out there to what the timing advancement is? I don't know much about the HRVP. I assume it also increases available flow.
  18. For tuners with can't tune I would agree. But it should work great with the quad I would think?
  19. P1687 and 1693 probably related. You already explained the 0230. 0336 probably explains your intermittent no-start condition.
  20. Check the daytime running light module under the hood, or the cable/harness where it would be if it doesn't have one. I remember having a problem with my high beam light doing something similar. It was something to do with that harness, I was bypassing something for HID's... I'm sorry I can't remember any other details but the pin descriptions are in the FSM.
  21. I didn't understand that part either, canbus being reduced and then increased again, making a sort of 'S' in the tune.
  22. Makes sense to me. I always blamed my oil consumption on the Honda motors being too high-revving for their own good.
  23. This isn't going to be much help, but every Honda I've owned burned oil. They all ran great, but I had to keep a close eye on it.
  24. Can you describe the shudder a little bit more? What transmission do you have? Is it possible it's trans/driveline related?
  25. While I agree 100% that it's a bad combo, I don't have high EGT's. Only issue is I'm almost forced to tow in 3rd (OD off) to keep RPM's up, unless I keep it well above 70 MPH, or more like 75. Which I typically don't do, since I don't like throwing cash out the window to get somewhere 10 minutes sooner. If I could find 4.10's for cheap I'd be all over that.
