Yea,i'm just trying to get the guy in the direction of Trans or clutch problem.If the trans is still turning with clutch engaged,then clutch problem. If he can't engage trans with engine not running then trans problem.

f I thought on pilot bearing/bushing too if it was seized around input shaft,throwout would seize on collar not shaft and would prevent clutch from disengaging,but he should have noticed that.

How many miles? Can you put in gear with engine NOT running? Remove and inspect Shift tower.

Not sure on 99's:shrug: but my 01 Front Hubs/Bearings are a sealed unit.

Have you tried Rock Auto(google search) Timken or E-bay?

Probly go with your local guy,since your there if any warranty work it needed.I got burned on one of my 6 Spds so anything major i go with national dealers

My guys here in Omaha are pretty sharp,he spent about 15 min going through obsolete #'s to find that for me,told me not to lose the #. Thought maybe that was who you ordered your short block from.

I guess i've been over ruled,but i've been through 3 of these pos 5600's,kinda had a little experience with them.

How much increase in MPG'S

After i posted i thought maybe call Frieghtliner/Cummins w/engine # they might have it.I get alot of parts from them,but at time i posted thought cummins/frieghtliner would'nt carry because not part of engine. Best bet would be Frieghtliner.Usually 1/5 the price of Dodge.
