  1. If it's leaking were i think it is,the corner where the thermostat sits it probly has'nt lost a cylinder seal. thats where mine was leaking, just checked head for warpage new OEM gasket and done.
  2. Has your head ever been off? Do you suspect a problem with your head? How many miles on your engine? Has your engine ever got really hot?
  3. Is your head gasket leaking?
  4. I haul for myself also, well stay busy and SAFE!
  5. I would think you could sending unit at any parts store. take yours in to match up with something from any gauge mfg.(or look up edge's web site)
  6. 3 NV5600's, Block cracked at 425k(new block/same guts) 4 or 5 lift pumps and apps,1 VP44 at 390K. You haul for someone or yourself?
  7. Bought me a used Edge EZ, Hopefully it will be waiting for me when i get home, along with my RV275's.
  8. Electric Gauge? Maybe sending unit. How many miles on Filter?
  9. Congrats on 930k,I'm a little behind with only 790k BUT gaining! Am curious as to what (if anything) major you have had to do?
  10. Ok,that answers my question, was wanting to know IF i had to by a BOX to fool the ECM. I did find an EDGE EZ that if i can buy it right i'll go that route. But my truck is 2WD and it's hard enough keeping traction in snow/ice when pulling now. Mileage/Reliability are my to top priorities.I hav'nt been watching prices on some of these BOXES because a one time they were priced more than they were worth to me and did'nt feel i needed the extra power. Thanks! As for the Fuller,I took pics but i think they are on a hard drive from my laptop that crashed, i need to take it in an get them recovered. If you do a Google search for(NV5600 Conversion) their guy that posted pics and part list that i pretty much followed, just made my brakets a little different. His was a 4WD but at the time he had'nt got the transfer case hooked to it(he might have by now).
  11. They want you to replace all the gaskets, including the head gasket?
  12. I have a 14" clutch and a fuller 8406,not really worried about it. So whats those boost foolers do? --- Update to the previous post... So throw away that Bully Dog RFI? The RV275's have been on back order so Diesel Specialties ordered just the Nozzles and going to build me a set, hopefully will be done after i deliver this trailer i'm picking up in LA(the state)to MT and get back home.
  13. Take that back,he's from Canada says it's 14000kg,not sure what that in LBS.
  14. It's an empty trailer Gooseneck Flatbed w/a GVWR of 14k ,Round trip 3.5 Hrs half empty/half loaded. Empty the Trailer is about 5k,he does'nt say how much the attachment wieghed.
  15. Can't see where you could go wrong,as long as it did'nt come out of a truck in a flood. The CarFax should be able to say whether that had happened, because the trucks VIN# would have been reported to INS.
  16. I do have a Hypetech programmer, and straight exhuast, gauges and am installing a Bully Dog RFI Cold Air. I guess i was just looking at the Quadzilla or BD boost foolers just so the ECM won't defuel when boosting,My truck has almost 800k and I pull for a living, not going to HOT ROD it and it pulls everything i've ever hooked to just looking for a little more power when i want and a bit better MPG's thats why i've got some RV275's getting made.
  17. Just want the turbo to push 30-35psi,I baby my truck just want the little extra when i need it.
  18. Going to get a boost fooler, just getting opinions on which is the best one. I have an 01 H.O. that is getting RV275's put in and a boost elbow:shrug:
  19. I have a Mechanical Fuel Gauge w/isolator that is mounted under hood.Line from the isolator to the gauge in the cab is just filled with 50/50 anti-freeze only about an ounce. The only issue i have is i get air in the line from filter housing to isolator sometimes if i run my Aux tank low, then the needle bounces and i have to bleed the line.
  20. I like your Gauge, is it Mechanical or electric and where did you get it
  21. Freightliner uses the 5.9 in medium duty applications, but can't look up by applications i.e. 99 dodge 3/4 ton,but with engine # they usually stock most parts needed same with Cummins they can't look-up by truck make/model but engine # (posted on the driver side of front cover) save bunch of money over dodge. Cummins also sells to Freightliner cheaper than to retail customers so most times you can save money buying through Freightliner.
  22. CALL FREIGHTLINER bought one about 3-4 years ago $175.00(OEM Manifold) Have Engine# handy. Use a small grinder to remove any casting slag that causes hot spots to help prevent cracks.
  23. What are you selling?
  24. I'm sure your machine shop knows this, but pay attn to min head height of 3.7008 inches Max machining(surfacing) 0.03937 inch:thumbup2: Where did you get your parts?
  25. What kinda of mileage are you getting?
