  1. @Mopar1973Man does that timing parameter section look ok? (First 2 pics)
  2. Kinda hard to follow for me but I got the drift, I really still do feel retarded trying to tune this quad Here's what I got, idk if some of the stuff is correct, whatever was there previously I left. I won't be using a TAP now so I don't have to worry about that stuff yet.
  3. Everything is installed and truck is running. Way different truck power wise, feels stock Quad is on Zero-0, I need to find out where to run this thing at with those 6x13's. Looking for a really peppy DD. Generous ideas? Still surprisingly there isn't really any smoke with these 6x13, I imagined before it all got here that it would be too smokey especially without quad input. Seems strange. Gonna take the first trip to work tomorrow, Check everything out on a longer drive, check for tank pressure too...
  4. I mean they were close just little tweaks here or there, they just ride really close to each other. I sat the first set (back) in first and got everything in place loosely then the first set same thing. Barely snugged them then kinda tweaked them. Their not perfect and don't just lay in there but I guess I'll have to live with it. I'm too scared to really bend them more to get a better fit. With this set I actually had to cut my bracket that the dip stick attaches to cause the line ran straight into it. None of the stock clamps or brackets work either...
  5. I got the cheaper ones, they were not bent right and was a pita to get them where they were not touching, they also are just in general bent a little different than stock... Ill post pics later. everything is in, new pump, lines, tubes, 6x13's, even dropped the tank and dumped it out made sure there were not any debris in there - pretty clean and also peace of mind, new filters too. So literally everything is new on the fuel system! Gotta prime it this evening and start it, fingers crossed... So since I have a 2 year warranty and cant tap the pump what should I run the quad at? Now that we certainly know what pump it is and injector size.
  6. New lines should be here fri, got them from accuritediesel.com Injection pump and other goodies from DAP should be here today. got everything thing off except injection pump. I have different tools i can use and have used before but I was wanting to make a puller just for the injection pump gear. Yes I know their not that expensive but I'm cheap and I kinda forgot to order one with the pump. So does anyone have the approximate center-to-center on the gear bolt holes and maybe overall width of tool. Id greatly appreciate it!!!
  7. @Mopar1973Man gold plated now that would be a sight! Lol. I totally understand where you're coming from and that's the price I'd like to pay from the others. Has anyone bought from these guys before? Never heard of them, kinda over cautious of buying from random companies, plus you never know what kinda product your getting.
  8. $380 - seems cheap? https://www.accuratediesel.com/dodge-cummins-5-9l-vp44-diesel-fuel-injection-line-set-24v-assembled-w/-clamps.html $663 https://puredieselpower.com/dodge-products/24v-second-gen-dodge-5.9l-cummins-vp44-factory-injection-lines.html $650 for stainless $550 mild steel https://www.scheiddiesel.com/1998.5-2002-Dodge-Cummins-Fuel-Line-Set-for-VP44/ $590 - mild steel https://www.dieselautopower.com/diesel-auto-power-vp44-steel-fuel-lines-standard-0-078-id-24visb-lines078 $571 - mild steel .078 https://haisleymachine.com/shop/diesel-truck-performance-parts/fuel-system/fuel-lines-line-kits/fuel-line-24-valve-oversize-bent/ Injector hold downs $17 each - should I get all new? Or just the one? https://puredieselpower.com/dodge-products/2nd-gen-24v-98.5-02/injectors-and-fuel-system-3/fuel-related-parts-2/24v-cummins-injector-hold-down-3940639.html
  9. That was what I was thinking too. We never re-use at John deere, but with our trucks that's sometimes not the case. These don't look so hot, I cleaned the one up to show the little step which I can catch a nail on, tells me it's bad. Confirmed my suspicions. Now I've looked but having a hard time finding a full set of lines, I can find p-pump lines all day but not vp44 lol.
  10. Guess what I found? Was about to get started on pulling stuff out to replace lines, tubes, 6x13 back in and new vp44... Didn't really do much after finding the code so I'm just now seeing this... Broken injector hold down, just laying there, glad it didn't get into anything... This is prolly my tank pressure... Edit: it is #3 injector.
  11. Hey there again. I got started on trying to clean up my stock injector lines that came with the truck and was curious if anyone had some good ideas or better ones than I had to knock this task out. Thought of scotch brite over the whole thing then a thorough cleaning and blow out. I have better pictures of mine now and some of the ends I'll be working with. Maybe prime and paint afterwards? Something to soak these bad boys in?
  12. Yea sounds like mine lol... I have more to associate with the lope and stall but I'd check your codes on the key flip/ obd2 and see what you got. Most DEFINITELY check you fuel pressure since you don't have one. Could have smoked the vp44 after your injector install - demanding/using more fuel while your fuel pump isn't producing.
  13. Hopefully not either of the last two... Everything that has happened has been directly after injectors and I guess I can add the quad in there too. I'm thinking everything has just all been fuel related craziness. So there will be a new sovp44, re try those 6x13's, new oem injector tubes, clean up those stock lines above hopefully and use those. Back to a known standard operation.
  14. Anymore thoughts on the tank issue?
  15. I guess I'm looking for reassurance in the lines above and the pump making my tank pressurize... I tend to over think things alot so this is why I ask.
  16. Date of MFR 2-00...... Says right on the door. I don't see how it's a 2001? Somethings fishy here.
  17. If yall think those lines above (pics) are usable after a good clean and polish Ill use those and my new tubes so Ill be back stock on that part. Lines yay or nay Stock lines might give me the ability to use my AC finally with out the huge lope/lug... Now on to that fuel tank deal. Ive read a bit on it but idk if my situation would contribute to that or is there another issue? Top of the fuel tank is wet, probably would be obvious in conjunction with...
  18. X2 ^^^^^ Putting your tee in for guage, that's when you put air in the line and she puttered out. Easy fix, 5 min. *Unless something else major or unknown that going on.
  19. Yea I read kinda the same stuff, tubes are ok with stock. Idk which way I'll go on that... So what do I make of the tank pressure? The vapor "smoke"? Contribute that to the pump as well?
  20. I don't think it would work to well, essentially the injectors would just suck the lines dry cause it can push/handle large amounts out but the pump can't fill lines/tubes back fast enough for next round. At least that's the way I see it. I mean if someone's done it with large lines and knows what to expect I'm all ears. I'm gonna have to inspect my stock lines and I'll post pictures.
  21. Well it just came about. After all this time idk if it would do it now?
  22. I have stock lines, idk if there any good, I assume that there the original ones from truck. Also have 1 new set of cummins oem tubes and 1 used, 1 set of used stock injectors (unknown status). I might have to take pics of lines and see what yall think. I read some where that you could run the bigger tubes just not the lines. I guess since I have oem ones I might as well use them. I think stock tubes and lines are good for quite a bit of HP before needed swap. Wonder who would want those lines and tubes? Might put them on here for sale.
  23. I guess I forgot about my .093 lines and tubes....
  24. Well I dont want any codes lol But Id like more power on top for hwy rpms etc. I think I have to assume that this is what happened locking up. Code now plus hard starts and the knock - to which is safe to say was caused by pump? And I should ease my mind and not think the worst now? @dieselautopower here is some pics of pump when I previously took it off. Doesnt say 028DF but who the heck knows... Would this be ok for a core? And keeping those 6x13's in there with that new SOVP should be doable for awhile aye?
