  1. I picked up the 24" (I think that was the size, long silver ones) tire irons from HF. They make the job much easier.
  2. Got knocked out again right after I started this thread. Just got back on. Don't know how long it will last or what's causing it. Irritating that someone creates viruses that mess with things, if that's what I got somewhere. Still only the two issues. If I go on Amazon I can search and look at anything. If I follow a link, everything goes Spanish. Guess I'll go through my phone and dump useless things. See what happens.
  3. Very strange. Another thing that's happening is anytime I click on a link to Amazon, it comes up in Spanish and then my Amazon account is in Spanish and won't go back to English. I have to delete and reload, then it's back to English. Wonder why it's affecting only this forum...... Maybe my phone has Covid....
  4. Cleaned trike up last week. Was in the 80s here Saturday. Hosed off the radiator that I found the leak on, then blew it off well. Went for about a hundred mile loop and got home....no leak. Don't know why it pushed antifreeze out. Wasn't much, but any is too much. Still under warranty this whole year so going to ride it and watch.
  5. Site wouldn't load for me over the weekend, then it came back Sunday afternoon, then went away again until just now. I cleared it from my phone, went into the googler and tried to reload..... nothing. Went into history and tried to get on through a previous time and no go. All other forums are no problem. Has the site been down or is it something on my end?
  6. Hairline crack in his thighbone. Never gave him any problems.

  8. If I had a $900- $1200 payment, I'd HOPE my truck got targeted🤣😂🤣😂🤣 But I'd never put myself in that situation in the first place.
  9. If I remember correctly, it's ball, spring, washer(s), fitting. I couldn't find an exact fit washer on hand, had washers that a pencil would fit through and ground down the outer edge to fit. Moparman tip: put pencil through fitting, put washer(s) on, then insert pencil into spring and start fitting. Tighten up and remove pencil. Pure genius. This insurse the washers are seated properly on spring and fitting. Been awhile since I had to do this, so if I have something wrong I'm sure it'll get corrected.
  10. Do you have a scanner that can cycle the abs pump? If so, what one? I've been looking at them, but they get pricey with that option.
  11. Collectors want what they want, money is no object. If I had lottery money, I'd own that truck right now. That ain't for driving, it's for having very likely the only remaining one in existence. Look at the money it takes to own certain other old vehicles, make this collector item look cheap. Truck is beautiful 🤩🤩🤩
  12. How's that going for you? Much pain or stiffness?
  13. From everything I've seen, the rodents are repelled or react to them, but they become accustomed to the noise and ignore it. My dad put a few plug in ones in his garage that had a rodent problem. He said they worked for about a month, then they started coming back. Hopefully they work for you.
  14. My truck would jar your teeth on any pavement imperfections. Put the 5100s on and while it still rides like a 2002 one ton truck, it's night and day on the smoothness. On the F-350 I went with Bilstein 4600. They tamed that heavy truck and ride very smooth, but I wish I would have went with 5100s on it also as the valving is a little stiffer. It rides like a couch, but I personally don't like that. I like a firmer, more controlled feel. It's really a matter of perspective. I like a truck that feels like a truck.
  15. I haven't heard good results from ultrasonic repellers.
  16. Ya it does! I was just complaining that I have a sparrow trying to build a nest under the hood of my Ford. Left the hood propped open a bit and it seemed to have deterred her....... until I looked today, now she decided that under the radiator support, on top of and between the various coolers would be a better option. This has been going on for over a month, but I definitely will take my sparrow over your squirrel any day. When you get it all sorted again, cover everything in Cayenne Pepper and reapply once in awhile. Couple bites of that and they move on. I spray wires and connectors with WD-40, then get the pepper on it while wet. It sticks better.
  17. Bilstein 5100s. Had read a few posts on various forums that rancho seemed to have lost some quality. Don't have a clue if that's true or not. Read ALOT of positive reviews on Bilsteins. I am very happy with them.
  18. Stop talking like that! I haven't even thawed out and warmed up from this winter, and you're already talking about next winter....stop it😂😂🤣
  19. Same here. I'm sick of the wind and dampness. I agree on screaming over snow now. It's only going to be in the 40-50 degree range all next week then the mid 80s for the weekend. I'm sure that will change, but I told my wife last week that we'd go from cold and damp to hot and sweltering overnight. That's what I'm throwing on the grill tonight....
  20. Ya, that's what I posted, but I see your point.
  21. That's what I did. Whenever I've replaced lines I just follow the originalish routing. My new lines will take a more direct route without all the little jogs that are sometimes in original lines. Like you said, once you use copper lines, you'll never go back.
  22. Excellent. Thank you. Looks to have a couple extra pieces and a case. Funny how you can search Amazon and find things that don't show up for others. Seen something kinda similar in a red case, but it was $89. Found and ordered. Thanks again.
  23. I've fixed 2 vehicles and a boat trailer that had surge brakes. No issues at all... Easy Peazy, Lemon Squeezy.
  24. Copper-Nickel alloy brake line. Very easy to work with and extremely durable.
