Anybody Else Experiencing Global Warming?
Definitely different climate than what I grew up with as a kid. No where near the snow or lake freeze. Few winters in the last few years were pretty much spring weather....very low snow, very little frost, more rain than snow and everything looks dead and depressing. We just don't get the cold snowy beautiful winters anymore. NE Illinois

First time I changed mine it was a nightmare. Second time was alot easier. Time to do it again. Not looking forward to it. That looks like a HF wheel chock. They work well.

Goin' Campin' Even Though 6 Bucks A Gallon....
I agree. If fun and relaxation cost a bit more, I'll find something to put on hold, but somehow, someway, I'll find a way. Life is too short to not have fun.

Opinion needed - intercooler boots.
Can't speak for the others, but anything I have purchased from Mishimoto has been top notch. If I was doing boots, I'd personally spend the money on Mishimoto. They are more expensive than other products, and other products may work just fine, but when it comes to steering, brakes and engine, I want quality, and if I pay too much and it doesn't let me down, I'm happy. I may be wrong, but I think Mishimoto has a lifetime warranty also, but don't quote me on that. I've been looking at so many parts and sites that my mind is mush......

Winter weather - What do you see where your at?
Had a day in the low 70s. Now it's been two days of 40s. Wet rainy cloudy useless days. Back to the upper 60s for a couple, then back to wet, cloudy and cold. Spring is more bipolar than my ex...... My apologies to any bipolar people out there. It's not fair to compare you to her.....you are much more normal.

I need to vent before my head explodes
Ya, pretty much what I've seen. I just can't fathom things like this happening in this day and age. You'd think the world would learn from the past. $4.79 a gallon here yesterday. Why so high by you? Long haul from the refinery maybe?

I need to vent before my head explodes
The United States showed the world the horrors of using nuclear weapons. Hiroshima and Nagasaki started to rebuild themselves almost immediately. Human life is pretty resilient.....too bad some humans are aholes

I need to vent before my head explodes
It's easier to agree when they're sure no one will bomb them back. I would hope, knowing what would happen if a nuke was used, that they would stand up to him, even to the point of taking him out. Wonder how the current younger generation would react to the "duck and cover" drills we had in grade school? I never see fallout shelter signs on buildings anymore. Those buildings had the basement full of freeze dried food and containers of water. My high school was one and I helped move stuff to the basement one day and was amazed what was down there. Hopefully nukes remain a defensive deterrent and not an offensive tool.

I need to vent before my head explodes
I have to hope that Mr. Scramblebrains can't actually launch nukes. Same as President Trump couldn't. There are many levels of confirmation that have to happen to launch. At least I hope he doesn't have an easy button from Staples sitting on his desk wired to the fuse....🙄🙄🙄

Didn't watch a news cast all day....twas a good feeling... Except for the fact that I feel like an ostrich with it's head in the sand....

I need to vent before my head explodes
Hmmm, didn't know they gave themselves a 21% raise. Doesn't surprise me, but that's outta control with nothing that can be done about it. This is not only unsustainable, but we're in so deep, there is no way to get out of it.

I need to vent before my head explodes
I would love to cancel cable. Cable and internet is $256/mo. Absolutely insane. Problem is, if I cancel, then my wife's head would explode.😂 Much simpler and more betterer to have mine explode.....

Replacing battery
Old time hot rodder's would put the battery in the trunk over the right side rear wheel to add traction. Shouldn't be too difficult to move batteries and temp sensor to behind cab and still be ok....... Might have to increase battery cables a bit, but the temp sensor shouldn't be a problem. I may be wrong, but to me it should be easily doable....

Replacing battery
But once engine is started, PCM should read the same. The difference in distance should be negligible, no?

I need to vent before my head explodes
This may get long, but I'll try to limit it. I swear, everytime I see the news or just pay attention to what's happening, I get so aggravated. I won't even get into my thoughts on the federal government. I don't even know where to start..... Our governor in Illinois, J.B.Pritsker, was on a news clip the other day, saying anyone in politics that has bought their way in, or used their political power to enrich themselves or others need to go...... OK, fine upstanding viewpoint.... Does he not remember that it was HIM on the phone with BLAGOJEVICH, trying to buy the Illinois senate seat vacated by Obama when he got elected president, that sent Blagojevitch to prison????? How he got elected baffles me to no end..... Yesterday I see a news report from New York, that there is a clinic where junkies can bring their drugs, no matter what it is, get a syringe and shoot up under supervision, so if they overdose, they can be "saved". It's one of two across the nation, and they want to expand...... Then a news story comes up about a company that has developed a small device that is attached to the body of a junkie. It monitors the breathing of said junkie and if it drops too low or stops, it injects Narcan ands calls 911 so emergency responders can come to the rescue...... Today I get my second round of "free" (we all are paying for it if we pay federal taxes) covid rapid tests. Comes from a company called iHealth. They are manufactured for iHealth labs, inc. Sunnyvale commiefornia....... MADE IN CHINA!!!!!! I'm only scratching the surface of my frustration with politics and the way this country is. OK, I feel a little better just typing my frustrations out.....am actually considering not hitting post, but if I don't, I'll be back where I was. Thanks for reading and thanks to moparman for giving me a place to vent. Other forums don't want politics brought up.

My first
This was my first motorcycle. The first vehicle I ever bought brand new. The first loan I ever took out at a bank. It's a '78 Yamaha DT400 Enduro. Two stroke, oil injected heaven on two wheels. A friend and myself went into a dealership and ordered them. They came to America packed two to a crate. Ordered in February and picked them up April '78. We were two years outta highschool. By November, I had over 10,000 trouble free miles on it. Few years later my brothers car was down and I let him take it to work. Someone pulled out in front of him and it was totaled. This is a picture from the web that I came across. Brings back a whole bunch of memories......
