Inconvenience of EVs
Kinda reminds me of nuclear. Going to supply clean nearly limitless power. They never really had a plan for what to do with the waste....very sad

Inconvenience of EVs
I'm still waiting for my flying car that as a kid in the 60s was told it would happen. I don't believe batteries will ever become the way of the future. Just like extracting energy from a gallon of gas, there will be a limit to how much energy can be stored and used in a battery. I figure when the world runs out of mineable and usable minerals, they'll have hydrogen or even cold fusion figured out..... I won't be around to see it and the world may purge human life from itself like immune systems purge germs before it gets figured out. Neither side of the equation will ever convince the other side to see things their way, and reality will always end up somewhere in the middle.

Inconvenience of EVs
In a city, never more than 20 miles from home, an electric car MIGHT be feasible. In the real world, they are a joke.... Where you live, there is no way I'd have an electric car. Even where I live, there is no way I'd have an electric car. Just too inconvenient and I'd be stressed staring at the battery miles till screwed guage....

Inconvenience of EVs
EVs are just a way to control and contain people. Can't travel very far or very fast in an EV....

Hello everyone...
Everytime I think I can slow down a bit, life speeds me up. Borrowed a friend's skid steer and filled in the Koi ponds that my MIL had removed over the summer. Regraded her back yard and got everything ready for topsoil next year. She wants to think about maybe bringing in some trees, so she'll decide over the winter. Checked anti-freeze in the vehicles and the Dodge is only good to -10F. Good time to do a flush and start out winter with fresh coolant. Gotta change oil and filters in the F-350. After all that, I'll start tearing down the trike to get the rest of the chrome powder coated black. Still have to look for a plow for the suburban and sell the one from the F-350. That truck is like turning an aircraft carrier. Looks like next year when the weather warms up the Dodge is going to need some love. When I changed the oil a few weeks ago, I noticed the slightest play in the turbo. Injectors are only showing 2.5-3% load at idle, so I think they are due to be rebuilt or replaced. Edge is dead. JKidd is going to love me. Looking forward to Thanksgiving, my favorite holiday. Maybe I can slow down a bit by July 😂😂😂😂🍻🍻🍻

Miracle Oil-Front Axle Seal
Back when I was just out of highschool I had an el Camino that developed a rear main seal leak. Not having the funds, knowledge or place to do the repair, I used this in the engine oil. I had to add it every 8-10k miles, but it bought me a couple years. By then I learned how to fix the seal and had a place to do it. That stuff you posted is probably the same stuff I used, just packaged differently. I say go for it. Nothing to lose really. Let us know if it works or not. Good luck.

Beautiful 2002 Truck Listing

Dually wheels, rear valve stem alignment.
If each wheel is balanced, it doesn't matter where you put the stems in my opinion. If you add one of those stem extension things to the inner wheel, that will throw everything off.

You learn something everyday
Gas cans here as far as I can remember have always had us gallons and imperial gallons. I think it was in the 70s sometime that they added liters into the mix.

Delayed start - longer turnover.
I'm not 100% certain, but if you're plugged into the original circuit, I think you're powering the lift pump directly from the ecm. I think you have to wire in a relay so the ecm triggers the relay and the relay sends power to the airdog.

How is your carpet getting wet? I'd pull it up and see what's going on under there.

99’ 24v Alternator Went Bad, Possibly Fried PCM/ECM/VP44?
Only thing I'll add for the oil hack (which works incredibly well) is to check the top of your battery every once in a while. The oil will spread incredibly far and cover the top of the battery. Don't know if it could make a difference, but if the top of the battery gets a film of oil from post to post, could it cause a problem? I've put one drop of oil on each post and rubbed it around with my finger. Then a week or so later, I noticed an oil film spreading over the top of the battery and wiped it off. Don't know if it could cause any problems or not, but I wiped it clean just in case. And I'll add that all my vehicles remain corrosion free.....for the first time in my life.

Rear Pinion Seal (re-lash?)
What could a guy at home use to not only break the nut loose but more importantly, tourqe it back on. Is there anything out there that is reasonably priced as it would probably only be used once or twice. Also, yes, you can reuse the nut as long as the plastic ring isn't all chewed up and after it's set, the keeper pin is going into unmolested section of plastic.

My rear end stinks
Finally got around to doing the seal today. Not a hard job, but it sure is a heavy job. Glad I waited for 80° rather than the 100s we were having. Should take care of my rear end stinking....... Well, at least on the truck 🙄🙄🙄

What doing tonight? Spark plugs on 5.9L Cummins
Well, it was on the interwebs, so it's gotta be true. I'll hafta search some parts stores and look for a young kid behind the counter and see what he can find....😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

F'ing Ford Ranger
🤣😂🤣👍👍👍I gotta laugh. I feel for you. You sound exactly like me when I did the work on the 6.0 my FIL "blessed" me with. Four 10 hour days laying across the radiator just to make it "reliable". Have I ever mentioned how much I love my 02 Cummins?
