  1. Looks like you've got a little time. Storm looks weak....
  2. Been getting a few miles on. I love getting out and forgetting everything. It's a feeling that just isn't there in a vehicle. Not that I have alot to worry about, but two moms can keep a guy busy without the dads around to take care of things. Now that the extreme heat is about over, we'll plan on a few overnight or two night rides. Looking forward to the next couple months.....
  3. Did the pipe fit over the nipple?
  4. Did you try spraying the belt with WD-40 while it's running and squeeking? I'd guess you might have a valve leaking where the guages hook up. Sealed and holding pressure when hooked up but then leak slowly with nothing on them.
  5. I'm not an engineer, but I'm sure there's a formula for how much leverage will be created by 160lbs on a 4 foot lever when hitting bumps/dips in roads at speed. Not to mention hitting the ground on certain entrances and exits.
  6. Mount the bike on front of truck.
  7. Ya I understand yours is broke off flush. That's why I say you can remove or push back the insulation to give you a little area to slip the tubing over it. By stretching the tubing I got from menards like I did, and using some type of glue, I'm certain you will have a watertight seal. Wouldn't take much, even a 1/4" would hold. I personally think something on the outside of the drain would be better than the inside for no other reason than maintaining drainage and not making the hole smaller. I did what I did as proof of concept so to speak. Being my drain is intact it was easier to get sizes and procedures than trying to do it on a hidden tube. Hopefully you get something figured out, but I know for a fact that what I did will work for you. It really is easy to get at from underneath. Pulling the lip of the plastic fender well back gave me even more room to get my arm up there. One other thing I would suggest, however you try to fix it, is clean the tube thoroughly with brake cleaner before gluing/epoxying This hose just fits inside the tube. Hope it helps.
  8. Went and looked at my truck. Laying on the ground I was able to reach the nipple easily. This is what I found. The outside diameter of this hose is almost exactly the outside diameter of the nipple. Here is the OD of the hose. Couldn't get my caliper up there to measure the nipple directly. 15.5mm is .6 inch. If you get a piece of latex tubing with 1/2" ID it should go over the nipple snuggly. Use hairspray as a lubricant to ease installation and it will dry and hold like glue. Or you can use glue.😆😆 You can get at the insulation around the nipple with a small screwdriver or punch. Even if you just push it back to create space to slide tubing on you'll be good. Can always fill gap with silicone when finished. Hope this helps. Just seen tractormans post. A rubber elbow would work to. I suggested latex because it will stretch and create a tight seal easily. OK, not trying to be a pest, just trying to help...😇 Had this laying around. Bought it at menards. Used a socket to stretch it. Got it on the socket and heated it a bit with a butane torch. Got it hot and let it cool. Went on with a little wiggling and stretching out the end with my pinky. Fit snug and took a bit of wiggling to remove. If I used hairspray or glue it would have slipped right on.
  9. If you go from under the truck it's not so bad to get to.
  10. Remove some of that insulation and slip a piece of silicone tubing over the nipple. Silicone will stretch, seal and hold better than regular rubber hose. No clamp needed.
  11. I've got an extra cheap Chinese scope that's laying around. They work pretty good. The app for it is in the play store. 5mm camera head with adjustable light and a photo capture button. I just took this picture with it. It has a micro USB end on it and a micro to USB adapter to hook to a computer. I used a micro to c adapter to hook to my phone and take that pic. If you want it let me know and I'll send it to you.
  12. I'm not sure a 13 speed would be very practical in a pickup. I'd think you'd probably only use the 5 speeds in mid range. Don't dump trucks with those transmissions have rear ends somewhere in the 5:50 range? Been a long time since I drove one. Isn't it Low range - 1 2 3 Mid range - 4 5 6 7 8 Hi range - 9 10 11 12 13 Let us know if you do it. I'd be interested to know how it worked out.
  13. You make me almost want to buy another laptop and do online bill pay and banking. Last laptop I had got corrupted within 6 months. Bought and installed McCaffrey security, I think that was the name. It was a joke. Every time I clicked on a site, a page would come up saying site may be corrupted, are you sure you want to continue. I'd click yes. After all, I had their security installed keeping me safe. When I contacted them about my problem, they asked one question. Did you get a screen telling you site may be corrupted. I said yes, but that came up on everything I searched. They said it was my fault for opening the site. Their product did its job by warning me. I was POed that I got taken. Snapped the laptop in two over my leg and never had another computer, other than cell phones, and I've smashed a few of them too.
  14. My 02 has it. It's great....
  15. Ya, I know. Thanks, haha, confused, sad and the heart is like...... It's no biggy, I just felt more than a like.... The like should be a thumbs up...👍 I loved it, should be a red heart.... ❤️
  16. We need a heart option for likes because I loved that post....
  17. Do you do the 2.75 gallons? I dump the whole 3 gallons in. 1 quart doesn't make enough of a difference to bother with it for me.
  18. VP longevity and no need to add anything for lubricity.....
  19. I know they're irritating, but I can't help myself. My best friend has a 14 Ram diesel. This is going to get zip tied into his grill. I sprayed it to be more Ninja....🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 Harmonica at speed should drive him nuts......
  20. Pulled the old girl off the lift and gave her a much needed bath. Went for a little ride. I sure love this old bike. Gotta show her some love this winter and start riding her more.....
  21. I went to pick something up with a friend of mine a few years ago. I said to him, I smell diesel. He looks at me and says, that's because it's a diesel and not a gas truck. I had him pop the hood and there was diesel everywhere. I told him to think about it, fuel systems are sealed. If you are smelling something that you've never smelled before and isn't a normal odor, you have to look and see where it's coming from. Could have easily burned the truck up. I think the only thing that saved him is he wasn't running long distance or working the truck hard.
  22. P.S. Thanks for the tip on S100. That stuff is the bomb diggity....👍👍👍
  23. Finally back together.... This was before.....
