Weird Defueling Issue, any advice can help.
So this is a 2000 CC manual. Had a p-pump pulling engine that you pulled. You bought a wrecked 1999 2500 that ran, but someone needed the vp. Then you say you pulled the p-pump engine and put "the stock 2000 engine in it". Did you mean the stock 1999 engine from the wreck? You also used an ecm from a 5 speed truck you have along with a new vp. Where did the vp come from? Has the ecm been tuned? Just recapping from your first post to clarify what has been done to refresh memories. Are auto and stick ecm's the same?

I don't know, but I don't think the problems like you have, mechanical or electronic, could exist IN the pump. I think there is a problem elsewhere. Are you 100% certain the ecm you say is "stock" has never had a tuner applied to it? Seems highly unlikely you'd have two ecm's with the same tune written on them though....

Being it's an absolute change at 132 steers me away from a mechanical issue. It seems to me, a mechanical issue wouldn't be so precise as to temp influence.

Vehicle Accident
That's crazy. Roads don't look covered. How do these things happen. You'd think the person driving these hazardous trucks would be extra careful. That thing would make some noise if it expoloded....

Finally got to tow with the compounds.
Love that car. I would love to have twins...

This getting Old Thing...
None that I know of. It's sold over the counter. I get the generic brand from Dollar General or Family Dollar. This is the one I'm using when needed right now. There is another allergy medicine like this with the active ingredient citradine? or something like that. I go back and forth between the two so my body doesn't get used to one or the other. They take about 30 minutes to kick in for me. I'm not one to take much of anything, but I won't be without these. I truly hope it helps. *another thought. Have you tried those breathe right strips that go on the outside of your nose and hold the passages open?

This getting Old Thing...
Probably a stupid question, but have you tried allergy medicine like Claritin? Don't know exactly what you're suffering from, but allergy medicine really opens up my sinuses when needed.

Idle speed
My injectors seem to be pretty well shot. Engine load fully warmed at idle is +/- 2%. The only time truck dies when put in gear is when outside temps are below freezing. If I put it in neutral for a while or hold idle up a bit, it will stumble but not die. Once warmed up or during summer, there is no issue at all.

We've all done the W-T mod.. but has anyone dealt with interference from outside the truck?
Sometimes relays burn out. Im not good with electrical, can you do a current draw on the pump in case the motor or pump is going out and drawing excess amps causing heat in the relay? Don't even know if something like that is possible.

Idle speed
I have the same issue with triple disc converter in cold weather. I start truck and put trans in neutral to flow fluid and get it moving. Another trick is hold idle about 1000-1200 and put in gear. I'm also due for injectors as I'm getting some haze and fully warmed only about 2% load. P.S. to moparman, I know you've said it before but I don't remember. What should idle load be at fully warmed and good injectors?

When my air dog quit I was about five miles from home. Truck had no noticeable difference in running at all. If it wasn't for the fuel pressure Guage, I'd have not known the pump quit.

Yet they have cooling Finns on the back.....go figure π€ π π- It's always something
Same here. Perfect tool to get from HF. Steering column in my 89 Chevy pickup got floppy. These were needed. Havenβt needed them since, but I have them.- It's always something
Then you have E sockets.... https://germantoolblog.com/2017/06/01/torx-and-its-many-variations/- It's always something
So torx is six point and torx plus is five point. Never knew there was different tooth torx.- Navigating Website's New Format

Ya, I guess you're right. Went and tried it and it is the same, only black. That was for less cell phone battery drain. Other than that, I am unaware of any change to the site. Everything is the same on mobile. Sorry I couldn't help.- Navigating Website's New Format
Do you not have a theme option at the bottom of the page on a computer? I only use my phone and am a creature of habit. Once I learn something, I don't like change. I'm running the old version on my phone for as long as it's available. I will however add, the new version looks really nice, but it's different, so old version for me. - Anyone try these lights?
