  1. So that being a trade off where is the best position on using 2 cycle verses Optilube?
  2. NightHawk I don't understand how you could not like the way your truck runs on 2 cycle oil. Both my trucks, the 24 valve and especially the 12 valve run noticeably better on it. Second, I do not understand how Opti-Lube can achieve the lowest score value and beat out good quality ashless 2 cycle oil. Is it accomplished with additives? Is it something else I probably don't understand..... an ability to stick better to metals perhaps?
  3. I know what you mean.... I learned a long time ago to let the lady be right even when you know she is wrong.
  4. Wow cool! Thank you. This brings me to a thought.... be nice to set out a bucket of diesel fuel with a thermometer in the fuel and time lapse film the solidification as it happens.
  5. Knowing how you guys love power modes you probably collapsed the dang thing and cracked It Just don't use K and N filter or your truck turns into a shop vac.
  6. That's real cool. How did your factory air box get broken?
  7. Rare snowy winter for western Oregon. I think this was in 2008
  8. Logging road stop to do what you guys are talking about. Notice Alcoa rims with Dodge center caps
  9. How many feet would you guess that boat is? I'm guessing about 36'
  10. I was surprised how much the end links do affect sway. I finally got longer end links on the front after doing the level kit. Before I was running the shorter factory ones and the truck was like a rock.
  11. Dave do you have a tank sump or the 1/2'' drawstraw? I think you might be sucking more air if you have the tank screens and factory draw straw. I read of a guy with clogged tank screens. I never liked the factory draw straw with the little fuel filter cartridge on it. It has more screens inside.
  12. Down at the docks one day and spotted this all aluminum boat. It was cool
  13. Be cool if a guy could figure out how to run exhaust heat inside a fuel line cover placing heat along the run of lines. Cover could be a snap on type fit to remove for inspection.
  14. No he didn't but he sure knew a lot about his truck. When I suggested the two stroke oil he said ,''what for"? Tried to explain but wouldn't take time to hear it. You folks in extreme cold, can you use heat tape for plumbing but instead placed along your fuel lines and plug it in at night?
  15. I had a guy argue with me, to the point of getting irritated when I suggested getting one, saying, '' a fuel pressure gauge?'' I don't need that! All that stuff with gauges is just a big fad.
  16. Now Dave I forgot it was Sunday.... so we got to not think on such things...... Prescribing reading at least one Bible chapter and praying for families and our nation. Mike I've seen that when we were building a log home at the 1300 ft. level years ago. It was cool
  17. So does it turn into ice before hitting ground? I always thought it was bull.
  18. Can you provide a link or a clicky?
  19. -25? Are those stories true about what happens when peeing outside?
  20. There is a fantastic fan in the companion way on mine for warm days but I just needed a small computer fan for the bathroom vent. I crack open the door with it on and rv still stays warm with just enough air movement to reduce humidity.
  21. Beautiful wheels, nice ones for sure. I like they are 8 lug. So are there 4 wheels total? Is it unusual to not see any snow in February? I miss being there, had so much fun.
  22. I installed a muffin fan on the bathroom vent. It's very quiet and keeps the cabin air moving by having another vent over the cab over cracked. It moves the air just enough and the furnace can still keep the cabin warm. If I had IBM Mobile put in a fan I'd have to pull the towels off the ceiling
  23. Ok Dave now it is your turn to post the daily morning pic. Please !
  24. That happens with mine also. I hope you had a good time and figured out all the little stuff.
