  1. 315x70x16 will be smaller i dont think you will rub. 33.4x12.4/16 315x75x16 will be bigger and you will have just a touch of rub on the lower control arm when steering is locked either direction but otherwise you will be fine. 34.6x12.4/16 Me i like big tires, i would go for the 315x75x16
  2. yes stock rims. i do have 1/4" spacers to help (forgot to mention) but without them rubbing is still minimal steering lock to lock.if you ran 34x10.50x16 you shouldnt have rubbing. i am gong to go with 36x10.50x15 super swampers next. the rubbing should be same as with the 34x12.50 steering lock to lockno fender rubbing at all with the 34x12.50x16
  3. as everyone else said, its normal. mine does it as well. But when you see them stay down like that you have a stuck solenoid that will do some damage if not caught quickly. one of mine was dead and the other stuck closed even after keys were out. Almost burned the truck up...
  4. ive got the 2" level kit, i have minimal rubbing on lower control arms with 34x12.50x16 super swampers. hope it helps.
  5. so when do you change the filter? i wont punish you this time.
  6. Not sure if this has been done so ill do one. If it has let me know ill delete :)just getting an idea of what people do, how far they push their oil and filters before replacement.
  7. good to hear man!!nuther satisfied customer.(send money for the bill to me )
  8. its all i got right now, im gonna look into a 44mag when i get bonus
  9. that wolf is freaking huge!!! i never go to the mountains without my .45
  10. didnt know you could turn it the other way! thanks for the heads up rogan
  11. seems to be binding in the mechanics of the drum brake. i would take the wheel and drum off, inspect and clean. check for proper operation with the drum off. manipulate the ebrake and look at it, then release and you will see whats binding.
  12. prybar works wonders. when you put it all back together ensure that everything is back to the right spot as using a prybar will pull the shoes out a bit. unless someone knows a better way, this is how ive done it.
  13. you cant, there is a tab behind it preventing it from turning the other way. thus you would have to take the drum off. Unless there is a way to get in there without having to take the drum off.
  14. i took some 1/4 rubber hose and covered the screws that the oem box screwed to and they stuck up about an inch past the screws. the filter just sits there on 3 points of soft contact with no issues for me.
  15. if it is real bad jack truck off groun and have someone start the engine and steer the wheel carefully and while they do this go from under the truck you take a 18mm(iirc) boxend wrench and loosen the center nut on the top of the steering box and hold it. take a allen wrench and tighten it (righty tighty lefty loosy when looking at it from top) till the steering gets a touch of resistance then back off a bit. For me i did this by myself tonight in the driveway about 10 minutes, i did about 1 turn and it snugged it up a bit but the sector shaft still has a bunch of play on the housing and it leaks so i still need to replace the box and get the brace. http://dodgeram.org/tech/mods/steering/steering_gear/Adjust.htm it has pics...
  16. the things i have found with a BHAF compared to a k&n or stock filter are theseturbo spools just a tad fasterthe massive surface area of the bhaf means that less air velocity per square inch=less crap to stick to the filter elementnice whistle tooi can shake my bhaf and nothing sticks to it cause the air velocity into the filter isnt enough to pull stuff in like the stocker.
  17. i only had death wobble once, but it was due to the original steering components allowing so much slack that i could turn the wheel 10oclock to 2oclock with no reaction from the steering. I hit a pothole at 65 while in a turn and man did it shake like a paintshaker!since then i have never had deathwobble. balljoints are stock original still and still good.
  18. yes best to get the keyway at 12oclock first then remove the pump. makes life so much easier!
  19. yep my friends auto i replaced the t-stat on his mpg went up about the same.
