  1. Did it "blow" out of your hand……….or did it get "sucked" out of your hand??? Serious question.
  2. http://forum.mopar1973man.com/index.php?/topic/7954-high-mileage-badges/
  3. This guy is good!! http://www.wimp.com/tiniestengine/
  4. Years back, I knew several guys that used to haul horses and livestock with 3/4 ton SRW pickups. Their trailers were big double axle and triple axle stock trailers. At least one of them had the trailer (loaded) push a rear tire off the rim (bead) when doing a tight turn on a slight down grade. The trailer wants to keep going straight, and in these instances, the rear end of the truck had too much traction and popped the tire off the rim. The truck/axle/frame can handle the weight…………..the limiting factor is the tires………….and to a lesser extent, the rims.
  5. Do you have fat hands and fingers??? I shouldn't have typed that……………..I'll be in the same boat in the near future now!!!
  6. In all honesty, according to my Quad RP gauge, I almost never see 21,000psi. I don't hammer on the throttle often either. That's been since the RP gauge…………6 years or so.
  7. Taking pictures while driving in pic #2??!!!! You're a bad girl!!!!! 204,034 on Mighty Whitey as of right now.
  8. So are you "banned" from the store now????
  9. Not too much you can't fix with a hammer or a BFH. Even if the hammer does fail, it'll make you feel better beating on it!!!!
  10. I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived…………..Thoreau In many aspects of my life…………………I believe in that above quote.
  11. I'm heading back to Missouri tomorrow AM. I'll let you know when I get back. Driving on SW5 was not hard to go back to. In fact; the reason why it was so hard to go back, was because it was so easy to go back to. That "soft" pedal with OOMFFFFF is really easy to get used to…………………………and I have it dialed in for best mileage on my truck. I can't help but wondering once I update the Smarty……………if'n I'll need new injectors!!!!! 203,000+ as of today on the OEM's!!
  12. The value of the truck in question ( or any truck/vehicle) is solely based on how much someone is willing to spend to acquire it. Plain and simple!!! Supply and demand. If no one wanted it……………….and he wanted to sell it…………………..he'd lower the price in order to sell it………………..or go broke insuring it over time!!
  13. Would that mean going back to "stock" while my Smarty was in the mail to and fro????
  14. Couldn't take it any longer………………..I just had to re-install SW5!!!! After just 4 days of towing my work trailer this week on the stock tune, and watching my fuel gauge move faster than my speedometer…………………I had to do it!!! Truly amazing!!!
  15. What does that bad boy (bumper) weigh??
  16. This crap is getting ridiculous!!! How many of y'all think we're being force fed this garbage by the liberals and by the media??? I try to treat folks how I'd like to be treated plain and simple regardless…….…………………I can tolerate their lifestyle, but I don't have to accept it. I personally believe it's a sin. Hate the sin; but pray for the sinner. I think it's more about themselves and publicity it receives than it is about them and their lifestyle.
  17. I hope the Smarty guys will get their updates available for Mac computers soon. One thing about the stock tune is that it's very, very smooth. Even with me used to the SW5 tune, it's still not as smooth as the stock tune…………………it's not all the torque management either…………..it's hard to describe. IIRC, you said the latest software is much smoother than prior versions.
  18. Stock sized tires with about 49,000 miles on them. Cruising 65-68mph my boost usually is 4-5psi. Bumping up to 70-75mph the boost needed goes up to 7-9psi all things being equal. Similar findings according to my RP gauge also. Just bumping up the speed that little bit really drops mileage on my truck………….unless I have a good tail wind!!
  19. Mileage has not dropped off at all. That's what surprised me coming home after the sensor fix…………I got great mileage…………..20.7mpg running 65-68mph. I didn't notice the stock tune cruising the interstate at all……………just rowing thru the gears. Takes way more pedal for some oomff!! I'm heading back to MO this weekend to snow goose hunt again. I'm gonna drive down on the stock tune, but prior to the way back home, I'll re-install SW-5 for a quick comparison.
  20. Just under 900 miles driving on "stock" tune since my "rail pressure sensor" ordeal almost 2 weeks ago. It's truly unbelievable how the Smarty "wakes" our trucks up on the "low end" vs. the "stock tune" from the factory.
